Subspace doodles (PHIGHTING! Mermaid au)

so I was thinking more about the PHIGHTING mermaid au I’m doing and. What if subspaces’ gas- instead of being like actual gas, was polluted oil? I think that could make for a really cool trope if I ever were to redesign him for it :3!

For the design notes in specific:

When out of control, his “gas” takes the form of polluted oil, in control (as in wearing his mask and tank) it gets filtered into something akin to toxic brine (in which long exposure to can cause a lot of issues, specifically different types of shock, breathing issues, etc). Although the brine isn’t too dangerous to be around in small amounts, it can be harmful over time.

for those wondering what ACTUAL brine water (or more specifically brine pools) are, it’s pretty much a large accumulation of highly concentrated saltwater (which usually is around 10 times saltier then the ocean surrounding it) For most sea animals this brine means instant death due to the fact that is has no oxygen in it as well as the high saline levels.

How does the Justice League react to Fae!Dick being obviously other? Especially given Batman's no metas in Gotham rule.

But to sum it up I think that, especially in the beginning, the Justice League is wholly convinced Batman isn’t a regular human either.

I mean, the guy‘s been trained by the League of Assassins and various other people and he‘s got the whole “I am vengeance thing” down pat to the point where nobody questions the way he just pops out of the shadows every other minute to drop some ominious line or information.

So the kid? Yeah, that’s batman’s offspring, no contest.

In the beginning Robin appeared way too bright and chipper to be related to Mr Tall-Dark-and-Brooding in any way but after a few instances where even Diana and Clark paled while Bruce congratulated Robin on his “restraint” they knew this was legit.

The JLA love and fear Robin.

He has shown a more lenient demeanor towards the followers of the stone shrimp, though he maintains a cautious distance from their proximity to his belongings.At the moment, he has chosen to retreat from the rest of the Varden, opting to spend his time in his temple, studying and observing the passage of time. On occasion, he shares news with others through enigmatic prophecies.
