FINAL AD PREDICTIONS

Hey everyone - been reading all the theories here on Tumblr for the last few years. Let’s hope something as good as some of your theories turns out to be the case on Tuesday night and that we are all satisfied with the ultimate result. I’ve never really posted any theories before, but since last summer I’ve kept a Word document to track some of my thoughts and theories. Here is a copy/paste of my final AD predictions before Tuesday’s episode showing my thought process on some of the primary AD candidates: 

-     Who is AD:

o   Bethany - if they craft a storyline to somehow make her alive, and she’s pissed about almost getting killed in addition to maybe being burned in the jenna thing

o   Twincer - hints that Mary may have had twins, would make sense if spencer had a twin but somehow didn’t get also get adopted by hastings and then wants revenge for not having the same life that spencer had etc. could also have been burned in the jenna thing possibly. Black veil seems to be a thing, which would have to be a girl so twincer or Bethany would make sense. But Bethany can’t be twincer cuz of age difference

One of these 2 is most likely, I would go with twincer at this point cuz it’s prob too complicated to revive Bethany and stuff. Caleb interview saying it’s not someone we know, but kinda, and we’ll understand when we see it supports that it kind of has to be twincer or Bethany cuz that wouldn’t apply to any regular character that we already know, unless he was just speaking metaphorically like we’ve never seen “that side” of them or smthg, but I didn’t get that vibe from the interview

Also this person has to have some connection to wanting to find out charlotte’s killer and having empathy for charlotte so likely to be a sibling so twincer makes sense or some sort of Bethany connection à Marlene tweeted that this person only became AD once Charlotte died, so unless that’s a lie it has to be someone close to Charlotte who cares about her – she kind of had beef with Bethany (wanting to throw the rock at her and Bethany blaming cece for killing toby’s mom) so I don’t see why she would care so much about finding charlotte’s killer

o   Ezra - they revealed that he’s sketch and had been stalking and had a lair etc in season 4 for his book. What if he’s been a stalker the whole time. Tons of clue that he might be AD but not clear what his motive would be/how he is close to Charlotte. Unless he had manipulated Mona/Charlotte to be A previously, and now they’re gone, so he has to take over all the dirty work himself. We know he had Cece as an employee previously and had intense chat with Mona outside that time.

o   Toby - if anything he’d want to torture Cece, for all the shit she caused relating to his mom. Wouldn’t make sense for him to be AD – if anything he would have been charlotte’s killer, which is not the case

o   Jason - haven’t heard enough from him in a while, not enough reason for him to be AD. No chance. Would maybe make sense if he feels guilty for what happened to charlotte and thought it was one of the girls, and wants a re-do and creates the baby somehow for emison and that way ali has a happy ending? Seems too far fetched

o   Wren - he’s been on my radar for a long time as a potential AD. But I think he’s just sketch and involved in the AD stuff – may or may not know who AD is. Mona chat in Radley was sketch, eddie lamb saying he’s there for the wrong reasons. Tons of doctor related sketchiness throughout the show. He’s definitely involved, but unclear why. Will he end up being bethany’s sis? Could be, but that doesn’t explain why he’d become AD once charlotte died – if he’s a helper, it could be because he’s trying to get some revenge for Bethany having been killed if that’s somehow his sis. But cece told him that Melissa buried Bethany, so doesn’t really make sense. It’s possible he’s in love with twincer, and link to twincer theory, he feels bad that she got screwed from having a good life and potentially got burned in the jenna thing and is helping twincer who is AD to do some of the dirty work. In the promo he’s shooting a gun – why? Is he shooting it at AD and helping the girls? Seems unlikely, maybe he’s trying to eliminate someone as a final act of torture. Him being in love with twincer would explain the airport scene and him falling for the wrong sister. Maybe he only ever got close to Melissa to get close to spencer/twincer. Maybe someone like ezra with his stalker skills has some bad feelings about wren and is on the verge of finding everything out so wren tries to kill him. Possible that wren is the father of the emison baby and he’s trying to create a new life that can be loved as a result of twincer getting screwed? Could he somehow be related to dunhill and getting revenge for his death?

o   Lucas - already ruled out, he didn’t know cece was Charles or that he was indirectly feeding her info used to torture. Red herring, just a good guy

o   Jenna - don’t think it’s possible, she is blind. And we’ve seen her be in scenes where AD is there and jenna is trying to figure out what’s happening so it wouldn’t make sense

o   Melissa - why would she be so connected to charlotte to become AD all of a sudden when charlotte dies? Yeah, she’s been in tons of sketchy situations and cece ruined her relationship with wren by saying she buried Bethany, but that wouldn’t cause her to become AD and torture all the girls now. She’s a good sis to spencer,  I think she really has been trying to protect her this whole time and it’s just made her look bad at certain times given her trying to hide the Bethany burial fact that things were taken out of context

o   NAT club - what does this have to do with anything? Is AD a whole group of people that are watching the girls just for fun? That would be unlikely.

o   Pastor ted - feels bad that Charles life got screwed, wants to create another child to have a better life? This would be ridiculous.

o   Mary drake - already showed how loyal she is to spencer, would make no sense whatsoever. Unless she’s being forced by AD to do all of this and is somehow connected to AD, but I still don’t see why she’d want to torture spencer

o   Dr Sullivan - tvfanatic mentioned this. She is not anyone’s mother that we know of. Is she just some psycho? This would be shocking. I can only see this if she is somehow jenna’s mother and getting revenge for everything they did to her. Why do we not know jenna’s mom? But why only become AD when charlotte died? Was she running the show by manipulating mona and cece before that?? Hmmmm

o   Maya somehow alive and AD? No chance. But wooo that would be crazy and awesome.

o   All a book and imagined theory – too much of a cop out. Not happening.

-  Final conclusion: AD = Twincer, with the help of Wren (stills seems weird to think they’ll actually do a twin theory, and the Bethany second choice theory is very complicated – none of the other options seem likely)
