However much I hate it being whitewashed for Steve, at least jack black probably will care about his role, just look at all the effort he put into the Mario movie, we could have gotten a Chris Pratt Steve

Oughhh yeah I don't doubt he'll do better than Chris pratt- but it's he just doesn't feel right for the role in the first place to me

Like he has a certain goofy way of acting that is great and all, but it just doesn't fit Steve at all- like Steve doesn't talk!! He's legendary!! He's an enigma!! He's meant to be the silent protagonist you can project onto, not some big bucks actor in a blue shirt hdjskdjdhskch

Ouf in sorry I grew up w/ Minecraft and the movie trailer just. Killed me a little bit- it just doesn't really feel like Minecraft to me y'know? Id much rather have them straight up make an animated movie atp
