He looked at the ground, chewing on the inside of his cheek as he exhaled a slightly trembling breath. He had loved Elena. He would have married her. And when she broke up with him, and moved on with her life- making it look easy - it had hurt. He had been keeping walls up because of it, and he realized in that moment that if he didn’t let it go, he’d screw this up.

He looked up at her, guilt on his features. “I’m sorry.” He breathed out, his shoulders lowering as the words left him. He didn’t know what else to say; He’d never been so good with putting his feelings into words. Even if he found a way to articulate what he was feeling, there was always that ever looming threat that she’d move away again.

He looked down again, mulling over if he should just blurt out whatever he’s thinking in the hopes that it comes out the right way- and he does. “There’s been a lot of things that I wanted to tell you, and things I wish I knew how to say,” His eyes met hers again. “But part of me is afraid to even try,” He paused for a moment. “Because you could leave any day.” He stated plainly, as he tried to hide just how much he’d think that would suck.

Erica had felt bad the moment the words left her mouth.  She knew she had no right to comment on what had brought the two of them together in the first place, even if they were growing into something past the deal they’d made.  She wasn’t his girlfriend.  Not really.  And as he eventually pointed out, she wasn’t supposed to stay.  She was supposed to be traveling around to keep from getting caught by Kali and to stay out of general trouble.  That was the plan, at least.

A soft sigh escaped her at his apology, her guilt growing even more.  “No, I’m sorry.  I shouldn’t have said anything.  It’s not even my business,” she muttered, truly believing that.  But then he was talking about how he wanted to tell her things.  “What kind of things..?” she asked, her brows cinched together in a mix of hope and confusion.  The fear that he expressed had her heart sinking, and now it was her turn to look down.

“I...  I don’t want to leave,” she admitted, refusing to look at him.  It was her turn to be honest, and she had never really felt comfortable expressing her feelings.  “Before I came here, I never spent more than a couple of months in one place.  But then I came here, and I was safe and happy, and I felt like maybe I could find a home here.  Maybe I didn’t have to be alone for the rest of my life,” she muttered, feeling herself tear up.  “I normally would have left two months ago, if I hadn’t found a reason to stay.”

She doesn’t answer him---the question far too stupid for her to dignify with a proper answer. Instead, she focuses on dressing her wound, using the fabric of her t-shirt as makeshift gauze, wrapping it around her thigh before tying the ends securely. She then gets up, wincing, making her way back to her temporary companion.

Lia laughed gently at Kai’s question. He was a new dad, so she could understand, especially since he hadn’t done anything like this before. “Yes, he just needs something, and crying gives him attention so that we know. It’s natural, as he gets older he’ll stop.” She explained as she picked up her son and investigated what he might need. His diaper wasn’t full or wet, and he didn’t need to play since he had just been doing so. So he either needed a nap or food. 

She was guessing it was the latter. “Do you think you could get me the baby food in the cupboard above the sink in the kitchen? As well as a baby spoon. He might be a bit hungry.” Lia said, looking over at Kai with a little smile, he was lucky that Kieran wasn’t the kind of baby to cry constantly during the night. He slept soundly.

The past couple of days felt like she was just on auto mode. Everything just happened, she functioned, but Raina felt dead inside because she was just so damn tired. She finally had a free night, and decided to go out instead of resting at home like she should have. Her life used to be full of fun, but now it seemed like it was just all responsibilities. The other day, her colleague had mentioned that they were now adulting. If this is what that looked like, Raina was perfectly fine not doing it. Stepping into the dingy bar, she remembered how popular this place used to be. It definitely wasn’t the same anymore. Had she really been gone from here for that long, it had definitely been too long. Walking up to the bar, she froze when she sensed someone familiar. Ignoring the feeling, she ordered herself a double gin and tonic, and slowly turned to scan the room.

how do you define a roleplay partner? ( is it how long you’ve been roleplaying with them? how many ships? etc. ) A true roleplay partner is someone who is as invested in your muse / ship as you are. Someone who you don’t feel afraid to approach, to run ideas with & who your muse has chemistry with.

which partner do you have the most ships with? how many ships? Definitely, Danni. ( @pandemonicheart ) fucking hell. I don’t even know? For Valentin? Pierce/Valentin , Bucky/Valentin , Rollins/Valentin , Engel/Valentin ect.

is there a partner you used to roleplay with, stopped, and recently began again? Yes but only due to them / I being busy.
