“looking good this morning, uris.” a smirk touches the lips when he jumps off of the beach wall, just to lean against it. “how’s the wedding planning going?” it’s mean of him to use it as a topic of conversation, but he can’t help himself; a need to understand exactly what was going on in the other’s head so potent. / @hcneysugar​

mia really is the last person peyton wants to see. whilst she might not be in the line of fire, richie was basically her uncle -- and so she would defend him to the death if that’s what it came to. “you have got to be fucking kidding me,” she mutters, grimacing slightly as she grips the red solo cup a little tighter in her hand. “nobody said you’d be coming here, too.”

his jaw locks whilst he’s on the phone, though he tries to recover appropriately -- keep his professional demeanor. though as soon as he’s off the phone, he loses it instantly, slamming the papers and phone down against the countertop. “i’m going to kill him, bev. this time i mean it -- i’m going to fucking kill him.”

“i think a congratulations is in order, eddie.” he smiles over at his friend, a cheekiness that can’t be dismissed evident at the corners of his mouth. without another word, he pours out a glass of champagne and then another, before holding it out to the other male. “here’s to being better than the competition.”
