I have long curly hair, I drink a LOT of nettle tea, and then just keep up with maintenance almost obsessively. A lot of air dry cream and leave in conditioner, curl defining gel after a shower with damp, not wet hair

challenge #1: heaven & hell

hello, all! if you remember, at the beginning of july i promised you all that i would be hosting my very first aesthetic challenge later that month/early this month. 

as you can tell, this did not happen. between summer work and everything else, i had no time to sit down and write an announcement post like the one you’re currently reading. which is why i’m writing said post now.

theme-

as you can tell from the title, the theme for this month’s challenge (inspired by my current hyperfixation *cough* stream good omens on amazon prime *cough*) will revolve around angels, demons, and the places they call home. you’ll be free to explore the nuances of both through whatever means you please: blurring the lines between them, highlighting their differences, harshly contrasting them, the choice is yours!

entries-

pulling from the results of my survey, i will be accepting entries in either one of two ways:

direct submission to my blog

tagging me in a post including your entry

each entry will be posted/reblogged to this blog under the tag ‘h&hchallenge’ once i have received it. this means that you are in the running.

results and winners-

there will be three winners total, decided by a poll that will open after all entries have been submitted. each winner will receive one of the following prizes, depending on their ranking:

first place: art AND fic request based on their entry

second place: art request based on their entry

third place: fic request based on their entry

rules-

to keep things even, only one entry will be allowed per person (maximum two boards per entry)

i would like to keep the focus on bandom for this challenge if possible, so base your board around a favorite band/band member/ship

have fun, be creative, and support each other!

announcement regarding h&h challenge prizes

hi everyone! sorry for the disappearance, but rehearsals for the fall show have been sapping my energy for the past two months. luckily, the show is this weekend so i should be opening requests back up by that time.

in not so good news, my 200 dollar drawing tablet has finally bitten the dust, leaving me unable to draw for the time being. unfortunately, this means i’ve had to make some adjustments to the prizes for the winners of the h&h challenge.

all three winners will still be receiving a prize, but in the form of fics of differing lengths:
