I definitely have. You know what it's like when you've hated someone for so long, but the sex is amazing? I'm here to tell you, guys, hate sex is amazing.

What’s an experience that significantly shaped who you are today?

It's one of my oldest memories. I think something like this probably happened before this time, but this is the time I remember so strongly. Everything about it shaped who I am for good and for bad.

I think we were running in the house which was bad enough, but the real sin was that I was wearing my mama's tiara. It was like a princess crown. It sparkled and had silvery filigree of leaves and flowers. I was pretending to be the fairy princess and Austin was the brave ranger. My father had just come home from work and I ran to show him my 'costume'. I guess I still had some since of trust and love or at least a desire to have those things for him. I don't even remember seeing his hand move. I just remember the sting in my cheek and falling to the ground. I did see the hand rise up to hit me again. And I remember my brother, my brave, beautiful brother, stand in the way. He put his little, fragile child's body between the me and the monster. He gave my brother such a beating that day and I lost trust in anything other than Austin. It took years for me to trust anyone else. I might seem to trust easily to many people here, but that trust harder than you can ever imagine. While trust is hard to believe in, bravery is easy. It's easy because I've seen it first hand. I lived with and love the bravest man I will ever know.

What are your hobbies and how did you get into them?

Shit, I guess I can honestly say tap dance. For a long while it was my job and my calling and practically my everything. Now it's a hobby. I started when I was like five years old. I was doing a ton of things. Soccer, tumbling, scouting, drums. Mostly I think my dad was trying to tire me out every day haha. Tap dance was the thing I actually fell in love with. Sometimes things are like that right? Things stick to your soul sometimes.

HC Event: What is your most toxic trait?

Well I’m sure if you asked others they would give you a different answer but you’re asking me so…I think I have a difficult time managing my emotions. Most specifically my anger and frustration with others. I tend to frustrate easily and instead of finding healthy outlets for that I let it out and take it out on others.

hc event - Who is your hero? Why are they your hero? Have you ever been disappointed/let down by a hero?

My hero was Abuela. Honestly, she still is. She got dealt a terrible hand, and she made the best of it. She was made the guardian of a set of triplets without much warning and raised some pretty good people in my humble opinion. Even though we haven’t spoken in a while and she doesn’t agree with who I love... she’s still my hero. Her choice to not accept me has let me down.

HC: Who was your childhood best friend? Are you still in contact with them?

I know this is sappy, but honestly Nick and Noah.  The great thing about being triplets was that we had built in playmates and best friends when we were kids.  We got up to so many shenanigans.  As we got a little older of course we had different friends.  I had buddies on swim team and Noah had friends in his dance classes and Nick had people in choir.  But it wasn’t until we were probably ten or eleven that we even started having friends that the other two weren’t also friends with, when we started being interested in different activities. 

Oh, and obviously I’m still in contact with them, they’re both here.

HC EVENT: Where was your childhood home? Was it more urban or rural? What did you love/hate about it?

My childhood home was in Champagne, Illinois and I’d say it was sub-urban. It was a beautiful house with lots of love and kindness and support and even more so when the Hudson’s came along. I loved constantly having someone there, constantly having someone to care for you. I didn’t like the amount people were there cause there were eight of us in that house and it could be quite busy and we could never get time alone.

HC Event - What unusual thing do you find attractive in a person?

Arrogance... I am so used to being around it and I am pretty arrogant myself. I know that it's an ugly trait but it's who I am and I won't be able to change that... Not sure I'd even know how to be honest.

HC: What never fails to make you cry?

How I abandoned Ross to run away to Europe.

Papi considering selling my favourite slave is up there. Fido was supposed to be mine after graduation, damn it. But if we're talking about things, then I guess I might get a little misty-eyed at certain movies.

Ross tries to make me watch musicals, and RENT was...there were moments where it might have looked like I was crying.

What is the easiest way to bring you to tears?

Well honestly I can be a very emotionally driven person, which many have encountered but if I watch The Lion King, The Iron Giant or How To Train Your Dragon: Hidden World..I'm a mess. Just ask Sebastian, as he's witnessed all three breakdowns.

HC Event: Who's the most influential person in your life?

My dad. I mean there's other people too, but my dad is the one I think about when I have to make decisions. He's the one I want to make proud of me. He's the one I try to remember when I feel like I can't take another step. He was a cool dude. He knew how to design and build houses. But he was soft too. He knew how to listen quietly and then tell you what you needed whether it was what you wanted or not. He would hug me and tell me that everything would be alright. He never lied to me and that's how I know that somehow everything is going to be alright.

Another one of those people is my brother. He took over from my dad and did the best he could for me when he was so young and grieving too. He's a special person. I figure there are a lot of people that will tell you that. He's strong and kind. If any of you ever have any trouble, I'm telling you right here and right now, Danny Andrews will help you.

I've got a lot of great friends here and I don't want anyone to feel snubbed or something. I love you all a fucking lot. Kyla, Kurt, Jamie, JB you're so awesome and I feel freakin' lucky to have you in my life, but for this thing I have to talk about Matt. He took me under his wing when he was facing his own shit and when I was in a very dark place. He didn't care that I was being prickly and weird. He gave me tea and books and a safe place to be when no where else feels safe. Not even my own head. Love you man.

HC EVENT: What is the weirdest fact you know?

Um, maybe that wombats have cubed shaped poop? I learned that at the zoo when I was younger…it actually inspired me to look up a lot of different animal facts and encouraged a great love for animals.

hc event - What is your earliest memory?

This is a hard one. It probably has something to do with my siblings, most likely Elliott singing or dancing somehow. That’s it - Elliott was ‘practicing’ something he heard on the radio, and me being the child born with little filter, told him he sounded like our neighbor’s cat when the tomcat got into their yard and decided to try to mate with it. I felt bad when I made him cry but I don’t think I was wrong in my review.

HC Event: How do you act when you are sick?

That's an eaasy one: DO NOT TALK TO ME. At all. I don't want to be hugged, or pampered, nothing. I like to be left alone, and if I need something I will let you know. Bottom line, let me go through it alone. Sounds like tough love, but that's the way it's always been at our home, so it stayed with me. And let me tell you, not such a bad idea in the end.
