Thinking about. The possibility that the God of Adenfel is living a voluntarily isolates existence. Housed in a pocket-reality associated with the moon over Adenfel. In a personal haven made of unreal architecture. Bored out of his mind, but....safe. Nudging cosmic bodies along into their orbits in an endless, dark room. Numerous eyes that look on, unamused, hopeless.

Much of Aglibol’s story away from Adenfel is a sort of Personal Vengeance Quest--I’m thinking his bodily death on Adenfel is either after that or during it, it’s really not of consequence to his own ventures off-world--and so I wonder if after that’s all said and done, he returns to Adenfel as a place of final refuge. He has never sought to rule over the Somatics, he has only been a presence and I do not think he wants to change that. In his previous exploits he lived for a long time as a covert, specter-like being for his own intentions. Being given free reign to live as he pleases on Adenfel would be so...new. I haven’t decided if the other gods that humans worship on Adenfel are as founded in reality as he is...so in that respect he may be. Alone. 

How sad that would be for him, like it is with Sanguis. Fulfilling your quest and being like...how do I make this world home again?

{The God of the Weeping Depths, the Serpent, the first Body, Womb, and Blood; The Wheel of Light} and so on is associated heavily with the moon. I think...This goes hand in hand with the idea that the serpent that propagated all magical beasts in Adenfel was a defector from another world, that it escaped to Adenfel to leave behind an old life and to finally be realized as the supreme divinity on this new planet. That it had once been human-like. And now what remains is a memory of its body and viscera in all its children. 

So it is believed.
