PLOT ANNOUNCEMENT;

Those of you who are following this blog for the plot, we are gonna skip ahead a bit and pretend that Ninlil is Back in hell.

She convinced @theholyone-hh to release her and let her go rejoin her loved ones.

He still owns her soul, she is still technically under his control. He calls on her once a year for about a week to come spend by his side and be his “Little Birdie”

(Kinda like when you go spend Christmas week with the family you don’t talk to the entire rest of the year)

When she fell, and became a fallen Angel, her feathers burned away, leaving her with wings like a bat… or a dragon.

She is no longer bound to the Pride Ring as a Fallen Angel, and she has access to the Angelic Glow and the Holy Light Beam.

She still has her strength and can still make deals.

And, there’s a few other things she’s now physically capable of doing 😉 but that will be a surprise.

I would sit before the redeemed soul, pouring a cup of tea and handing it to her, crossing one of my legs over the other as I played back in the plush seating of one of heavens many..sin free clubs.

"So, you seem to know quite a lot about this lil imp, you have a story don't you..a history..tell me.."

Ninlil would hum as she accepted the drink… this little club cozy… but a bit boring considering the clubs she was used to in Hell… but recluse that she is, it didn’t matter all that much.

It was just a difference she noticed.

“Crimson… A mafioso of the Greed Ring… come to Pride for business and ambition. He always has been ambition in the 4 years I’ve known him.”

Ninlil lounged in her lair, the one she used before she moved to the hotel, in the area where Miss Zilla ruled. A basement room beneath a club where people could freely come and ask to make a deal with her.

Sinner searching for people, sinners searching for objects… anything, Ninlil, that weird winged bitch, she could find it all, for the cheap price of a bit of power, a bit of strength.

It was a comfy room, one Miss Zilla had gifted to her as compensation for almost killing her the day she arrived in hell despite Ninlil saving the lives of three of her people.

The walls were secure, protecting from outside sounds, the candles filling the room with a gentle light and a comforting aroma.

You could almost forget it was hell.

Except for the literal Lone Sharks arraigned around the room, and the small Imp dressed in a nice suit, sitting across from her.

“Crimson” he had called himself, Ninlil not knowing if it was his true name or not. In all honesty, not really caring. She watched him carefully as he took her in.

She didn’t have her strength yet back then, still building it through the deals she was making, and she was aware she was outnumbered. She had a feeling that if they attacked, she was just barely strong enough to muscle her way out, to get away and get help… but it would be a fight…

She broke the silence first, “Mr. Crimson… I’m sorry if I come across as rude, you’re the first Hellborn I’ve hosted in my lair, I don’t know decorum. I wasn’t expecting an imp to search me out…”

She gives a smile and a respectful nod. “You honor me.”

“But… I must ask… Why has a Hellborn sought out a Sinner?”

This isn’t my normal way of shading, but it was definitely fun to draw something new, and try something new too! Art is all about having fun after all.

‘Certain Anniversaries are hard…

You find yourself just barely able to forget about an event and then the next thing you know… it’s the day before or the day of, and all those memories, and all that hurt, just come flooding back in a torrent wave that you have no time to brace against….

It’s choking.…

And there’s nothing to be done to numb it….

…

Nothing Sober at least.

Adam would find himself alone, and unbeknownst to him, Ninlil was having a self pity party.

Hence how Husker found himself 3 bottles of tequila short, two laid empty on the floor and a 3rd already 3/4 of the way drained, Ninlil’s lips sealed tight so no one could get her to talk about what was wrong and her just staring out at nothing.

A sad sight really.

Seeing the recluse in such a state was jarring to say the least… not even Alastor’s jibs could bring her out of the stupor she had found herself in.

Ninlil wanted to forget… wanted the day to pass so the pain could begin to abate again.

The rest of the residents felt bad enough leaving her alone, but there wasn’t much they could do.

It’s difficult to help someone who just wants to hurt��

Ninlil had eventually stood up, and swaying with the difficulty of being so drunk, stumbled her way back to her office, taking the almost empty bottle of tequila with her.
