Tomorrow morning at 9:24 local time, #HayMoon2020 will enter into the constellation of ♋ Cancer. Since the Sun is in Cancer, the moon will enter into the dark phase. It won't be until Monday when #GrainMoon2020 will be new. Since the Sun is almost out of Cancer and going into ♌ Leo, which will happen Thursday, the 23rd, it will take over two days for the Moon to enter the dark phase to become a #NewMoon. Buck Moon, aka #HayMoon2020, is at his final crescent this morning, illuminating at only 6%, entering into the #DarkPhase. I don't expect to see him tomorrow morning because the brilliance of the Sun will outshine him. My personal shot shows him at the bottom left facing the rising sun in the east. The bright dot to the top right is #Venus, the #BrightMorningStar, which means the moon rose after Venus did. The next time the Moon will show his crescent will be on Tuesday at sunset. He'll be #waxing instead of #waning then. In the #NorthAmericanTradition he'll be known as the #SturgeonMoon because he'll be full in August (3rd). In the #EnglishTradition, he'll be known as the #GrainMoon because he'll be the second #fullmoon🌕 after the #SummerSolstice.
