I’ve always been curious about Kate bishops background and would love to hear a paraphrased version if ur okay with it
[Absolutely I can! Just a little disclaimer, I'm doing this mostly from memory, so I may get a few things wrong. But I promise the gist is there, and this has gotten way too long, so uh... part one? I guess? I didn't even get to the vampires. If people are into this. I'll keep going.]
Okay, let’s start with Kate’s backstory.
The Bishop family has issues. Eleanor, Kate’s mom, is distant but portrayed as a generally good person. She and her husband Derek have an estranged relationship. She travels a lot and is regarded as an activist throughout her life until her untimely death when Kate is still just a kid.
Kate develops admiration for her father. He’s a publishing magnate but it’s soon revealed that he has ties to the crime world. Kate, despite her young age, follows her father to a meeting with El Matador. While there, she gets captured by the crime lord to be held for ransom.
This is where she see’s Clint for the first time, who saves her with the rest of the avengers. She took an instant liking to him because he was the only human on the team without advantages. At this point, she does make Clint her role model and starts to distance herself from her family to focus on activism like Eleanor.
Kate didn’t’ truly start training in combat until she was attacked in Central Park. This kicked off her love of self-defense. She originally felt isolated and in some cannon media, this moment in the park still haunts her beyond belief. (Young Avengers Special #1 [2005] is a great comic that’s stand alone & shows the mentorship between Jessica Jones and Kate. TW for SA.)
Que the Young Avengers.
(My personal favorite Kate Bishop Design)
Kate has an older sister that’s been completely written out of the MCU adaptation. Her name is Susan, and she doesn’t have the greatest relationship with Kate, they’re not openly hostile, but they don’t enjoy each other either. Still, Kate is in Susan’s wedding party.
During the wedding, the church comes under fire and the Young Avengers swoop in to save the day. But they awkwardly become hostages themselves and Kate uses one of Patriots throwing stars to get them out of the situation before the police show up.
Kate very ungracefully demands to become a part of the Young Avengers (The original team is: Cassie Lang, Eli Bradley, Tommy Shepard, Billy Kaplan, Nate Richards, and Teddy Altman). Kate originally doesn’t have a hero identity, so she raids the Avengers Mansion and dawns Mockingbirds staves and mask, swordsman’s sword and belt and Hawkeyes abandoned bow.
Captain America and Iron man were not happy about the team and demanded that they disband. But eventually gave in after the Young Avengers refused to back down. Kate was the only one to stand up to Steve and demand that they get better training. He agreed and put Jessica Jones in charge of the team. This is when Kate becomes Hawkeye. Steve gives her the title and the bow. She’s the unofficial leader of the Young Avengers.
What about Clint?
Dude is dead in the Young Avengers run. Clint makes his valiant return in the massive Civil War event that Marvel comics created. He was resurrected and is absolutely pissed when he finds out that Steve gave his name and his bow away.
Clint actually attacks Kate while she’s on a date with Eli Bradley in Central Park. He’s officially Ronin at this point and is impressed by Kate’s skills after she breaks into his place to steal her bow back. He unofficially (but also totally officially) allows her to take the mantle.
The Children’s Crusade
I’m skipping a lot of small side quests that Kate takes (even though they’re a lot of fun) because Children’s Crusade is possibly the most important part of her journey, and by the looks of it, is the basis for where the MCU is planning to go in the next few years.
Kate has a really strong friendship with Billy Kaplan, aka Billy Maximoff. He’s the strongest magic being to ever inhabit earth and when his powers become dangerous the Avengers decide to lock him up. That didn’t slide with Kate, and they ended up breaking him out of the tower and entering alternate timelines in search of Billy’s mom- Wanda Maximoff.
This was pure, time-warp chaos. Wanda had forgotten who she was and was about to marry Doctor Doom when the Young Avengers showed up and pulled her out of it. She regained her powers and her memories, coming to terms with Billy and Tommy being her sons.
Once in their original timeline, a massive fight breaks out between the Avengers and the x-men. It’s a whole thing that ends up killing Cassie Lang. Her death ends up disbanding the original Young Avengers who go their separate ways to come to terms with how dangerous being a hero really is.
Matt Fraction? Matt Fraction.
Listen, if you’re looking for the inspiration behind the general vibe of the show Hawkeye, this is the run for you. If you read anything from Kate’s comic journey, let it be this. You don’t need any prior knowledge to Kate or Clint to enjoy this one and the artwork heavily inspired the intro to the show.
In this series, Clint is the owner of an apartment building that’s since been taken over by the tracksuit mafia. Kate and Clint have an established friendship and the dynamic is very much like the show. But grittier. The series leans into Clint’s deafness and Kate’s trauma. It’s a basis for their relationship.
Los Angeles, baby
Kate goes to LA a lot. It’s her home away from New York and her arcs there are some of my favorite (it’s a guilty pleasure, honestly). During her run with Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye, she has a particularly bad fight with Clint. She takes Lucky and jets off to the beach to find her niche.
Kate becomes a very cool, very chill private eye for her first solo run; Hawkeye Private Eye. While she does eventually go back to New York to help out Clint, she starts her own business in Los Angeles where she teams up with Jessica Jones and Laura x23. Very fun, very goofy series.
[This took...hours. Literal Hours. But I have access to all the digital archives for Kate so, I'm more than happy to keep going lol]

This is because @ma-du who tagged me on this post with the idea:
Everything is the same, but the gang is reborn as Marvel characters
I am going to assume this means that the characters' personalities stay the same, it's just that they have been reborn to live the lives of Marvel characters (Assassins versus Templars plot optional XD)
Alright.
First of all, we’ll focus on MCU characters because having the ability to choose from the entire Marvel roster will… well… it would require more research that would probably take too much time XD
Also, I will primarily be using Phase 1~3 MCU characters (focusing on the Avengers with some exceptions) because the post did have Infinity Saga MCU characters (yeah, that’s the main reason why).
Alright, let’s give everyone some new problems!
Desmond: Moon Knight. Okay, he’s the main reason why I said ‘with some exceptions’. I mean… come on. Come oooonnn. Oh course, Desmond will still suffer thru the Bleeding Episodes which would lead him to be the AC equivalent of Moon Knight. Not to mention, just imagine the absolute fuckery he will suffer thru when he meets up with the reincarnated versions of his ancestors while he still have his ancestors in his brain as the Bleeding Effect. Instead of Khonsu though, I suggest we go for Ra (for the sun irony) or, if you wanna stay in the Greco-Roman mythology that was strongest in Desmond Saga, may I suggest Minerva (to make Minerva suffer with him) or Dionysus?
Altaïr: Doctor Strange, hands down. Used to be an arrogant overachiever? Taken down a peg by some kind of tragedy? Still a bit of an asshole but now has an entire subject he could spend the rest of his life studying and be the top expert still? Becomes leader of a secret-ish organization trying to protect the world in what amounts to a short time all things considered? OP powers with a lot of glowing gold accents AND holds an OP artifact? Altaïr is, hands down, the nearest Doctor Strange we will have on this list. Sidenote: Malik gets Wong’s job of being the usually annoyed dude that has to keep Altaïr from bending the rules too much. The Sanctum Masters are the Rafiqs of Damascus and Jerusalem + Kadar. Karl Mordo will have to be Abbas (sorry Karl Mordo) while Al Mualim would either take the Ancient One (if we plan to keep him good in this one) or Kaecilius.
Ezio: Iron Man. He comes from a rich family with lots of connections, is actually smarter than people usually assume he is, flirts a lot but also carries a torch for a specific person in his life, and a tragedy in his life changed him. Of course, his father wasn’t a dick to him (up to you if we gonna kill Giovanni and Maria off for drama), Federico gets reborn as Happy (who is still Ezio’s brother but preferred to be his security officer), Claudia is still his sister but has Pepper Pott’s job (although, everyone in Auditore Industries knows it’s really Claudia who takes care of the everyday operation, Ezio is the inventor and the face of the company, Claudia is the shadow queen) and Cesare gets to be Justin Hammer. Petruccio can be the kid in Ironman 3 or he's just living his life as the third Auditore child who has cool 'toys' to help his weak body that his brother made for him.
Ratonhnhaké:ton: We can go for Hawkeye/Ronin, the normal human who can keep up with everything that’s happening (also, he would make a good parental figure for the Frye twins). Also, even if we call him ‘normal’, we all know he could kick everyone’s ass thru sheer determination and stubbornness alone. Another option would be Black Panther but I kinda want Adéwalé to be Black Panther?
Haytham: … is it weird I kinda want him to be Nick Fury? Like… he’s the all-time suffering man in charge who doesn’t actually have any authority over any of the superheroes he ‘conscripted’? I just want Haytham to suffer while, for once, not being on the other side.
Edward: Okay… I mean… I know there would be a Phase 1~3 character that would work for him, the easiest would be making him part of the Asgardian family drama but, may I suggest a non-MCU character? Daimon Helstrom. Because Edward’s actor Matt Ryan is sooo good as Constantine that I will always think of him as Constantine. Helstrom is the nearest Marvel equivalent to Constantine and he’s also a free agent type which works well with Edward’s character for most of Black Flag. (plus I got “canceled after a good season 1” deja vu with Helstrom as I did with Constantine). If you really want him to be part of Phase 1~3, Antman (Scott Lang) would work with Jenny taking the place of the daughter Cassie.
Shay: If Haytham is our Nick Fury, Shay gets to be his Maria Hill (second-in-command, normal human that can kick so much ass, and… that tight outfit) or Phil Coulson if you wanna go down the route of Shay doing his own thing.
Arno: Spider-Man because I think Ezio mentoring him would be a nice touch and… his first love Élise being a Templar is kinda similar to how Liz was the Vulture’s daughter. Still thinking about who his Ned should be though.
Evie and Jacob: Look, we’re talking about twins here so I’m pretty much obligated to make Evie and Jacob Wanda and Pietro. Although, this time, Jacob’s not gonna die. XD
Bayek: Steve Rogers (no, he will not be called Captain America, think of a more ‘universal’ superhero name) because he’s an all-around good guy, his default weapon in AC promotional images has him using a shield, and he started out as a man who just wanted to do what was right and protect his people that got sucked into the overarching plot because of a tragedy. Also… Aya as a badass normal human like Peggy Carter, hhhmmm?
Kassandra: You know, I was thinking that Kassandra could be Steve Rogers with Alexios becoming Winter Soldier. (Which I think would still work, we’ll just have to change Bayek into someone else…) But Kassandra has to be Captain Marvel, right? The OP powers and “not to be a lesbian but oh my god oh my god” vibes she gave off just made her suited to be Captain Marvel more.
Eivor: She’s gotta be reborn as Thor, right? Like… sure, Odin is right there but Eivor’s love for fighting and her loyalty to her people feels more like Thor than Odin. (Let’s not make AC Odin reborn as MCU Odin. I’d even go for Varin to be reborn as her father again or even Sigurd to have a bit of arrogance at this point)
Basim: Look. We all know Basim’s gonna be reborn as… Korg. Of course, I’m kidding. He’ll be reborn as Loki as we all expected. XD
Clay: Deadpool. He’s supposed to be dead, his mind got shattered after receiving his ‘superpowers’, and… he’s the only person in this cast other than Desmond that actually remembers who he was before. His whole ‘knows about the fourth wall’ shtick is connected to the fact that he still has access to the Calculations and that’s actually what broke his mind… again.

hey i'm so sorry i know you've linked to it probably a million times but i can't find it: can i have the link to your hawkeye reading list pleaseee and thank you 🥳
Hi Hi!! Please never apologize for asking I have the most unorganized blog in all hawkeye accounts LMFAOOO so not being able to find recs in here is understandable
Im assuming you mean Clint, but just in case not I will add Kate's in at the end!
So First of course is this icon's first appearance in
Tales of Suspense #57 (1964) - (he also shows up a few more times in tales of suspense but obviously this is the most important one!)
The Avengers #16 (1965) is when he joins and becomes our favorite little Avenging Archer (forewarning he is a little shit here. His favroite pass time in the beginning is driving Steve up a wall. I personally find this dynamic very funny but some dont)
He is with the Avengers for a really long time. Like more than 150+ comics(he isn't Hawkeye the whole time though as he does have a little bit I believe that starts in Avengers #63-#98 where he is Goliath. He comes back to us as Hawkeye in Avenger #99)
Hawkeye (1983) is his first solo ever! It's a mini series but its one of my personal favroites!
West Coast Avengers (1984)- this is where we get to see him take lead in a brand new team in California!
The West Coast Avengers (1985)- this is just a contitnuation of the previous mentioned!
Solo Avengers (1987)- We find out more tea about Clint's life prior to avenging here
He stays with the West Coast Avengers for a hot minute before we get his second solo
Hawkeye (1994) he's reaaaaal tough guy big feelings in this one
then he shows up in Avengers again in 1995 (yeah I know but hey he is the avenging archer so that's where youre gonna find him the most) He even gets a new lil fit and everything (he looks like he belongs in a boyband and I love it)
Thunderbolts (1998) is where Clint shows up ( in 2001 I believe) and takes over the team! He essentially helps try to guide them into being a good hero team and if I remember correctly I think its either #74-#75 where he leaves the Thunderbolts (I can't remember exactly I'm sorry)
Hawkeye (2003)- a third solo!!! look at our little guy go!!!
Then he... well he dies LMFAOOO in Avengers (2004) and the Clint Barton you knew and love is about to change forever
The New Avengers #26 (2006) if i remember correctly and it's.. well it's a sad one and he isn't the lovely Hawkeye when he comes back either. This is where Clint becomes Ronin, which is a rather dark time for Clint.
Secret Invasion (2008) This is also sad im sorry LMFAOOO Clint's morals are tested often as Ronin
The New Avengers (2009) Again he is ronin here so if youre looking for Clint just as Hawkeye he isn't here but don't worry he is back as Hawkeye soon enough
New Avengers: The Reunion (2009) whooooo's he getting a reunon with ;)
Hawkeye & Mockingbird (2010) guess what, that's who he got a reunion with I LOVE THIS COMIC
Widowmaker (2010) is basically a continue on of ^ with Nat involved
Avengers: Solo (2011) CLINT!!!! AS!!! HAWKEYE!!! Doin Hawkeye shit
Hawkeye: Blindspot (2011) do you like family angst? Good. Here. Have the family angst.
There is an event going on around this time called Fear Itself that he is involved in and also he is in Secret Avengers (2012) starting #21 or #22 where he becomes the leader.
Hawkeye (2012) We all know and love this bad boy. You could fit so many tears into it.
Secret Avengers (2013) again??? yes again.
Secret Avengers (2014) haha yeah again
Hawkeye Vs Deadpool (2014) it's fun! it's cute! Wade makes me laugh and he has a soft spot for the Hawkeyes
All-New Hawkeye (2015) there is some retconning done here
I don't wanna talk about Civil War II (2016) it makes me really sad LMFAOOO but yes he is in it and it should be read because well.. he makes a BIGGGGGG choice here that I feel has def echoed in his characterization since and has caused lots of misleading beliefs about Clint
Occupy Avengers (2016) Woooooooh I like this one it's fun
Secret Empire (2017) He is in it if I remember correctly but I grouch about this whole concept because I thought it was stupid. It gives the same energy as "What if Superman was evil" and I'm sure as a DC fan you know how annoying that concept is.
Generations: Hawkeye(2017) This is soooo cute I love this one. Kate meets a younger Clint in it and they run around together
Tales of Suspense #101 (2018) This will never not make me laugh. Him and Bucky working together is always funny
He is also involved in Kate's Hawkeye run during this time but I've got that on her list
West Coast Avengers (2018) I liked this. I love when Kate and Clint work together and I liked seeing the nods to the original WCA
Hawkeye: Freefall (2020) crying puking throwing up it's so good and fun until it's not fun anymore
Black Widow (2020) Not my favroite run for Nat... feels like the tone is off but he is in it
Thunderbolts (2022) I liked this...would have been super cool if Marvel had kept it as a continuing run because I feel like it didn't get to finish it's story. I'm still sour about it.
NOW obviously this is not everything ever he has ever been in and I'm certainly not perfect enough to have read every. single. appearance. So please forgive me if I missed something important cause sometimes my brain is not so greeat with memory.
x Kate Reading List!

Black Widow has a reasonably long comic book history, making her first appearance in Tales of Suspense #52 in 1964 but has arguably only recently come into her own thanks to reboots from the 2000s and the character’s appearance in the Marvel Comics movie franchise (Iron Man 2 in 2010). Despite being the creation of Stan Lee, Black Widow was a rather two dimensional Cold War figure, whose real name was Natalia (Natasha) Romanova who operated as a seductive Soviet spy and assassin in the 1960s, usually pitched against Iron Man and fellow Avengers. She was later portrayed as something of a brainwashed dupe, controlled by her sinister Communist Russian bosses, until at last, she discovers the joys of American individual freedom and defects to the USA. After this the character somewhat loses her point, working occasionally with The Avengers and briefly becoming Hawkeye’s love interest. In the 1970s, the character was relaunched as a crime-fighting espionage “babe” complete with tight leather costume, her flowing iconic red hair and a jet set lifestyle, perhaps manifesting Marvel’s ongoing struggle with feminist portrayals of its (few) major female characters.
The character dropped from sight in the 1980s and made fleeting appearances the following decade, usually allied to Tony Stark and was a sometime member of The Avengers. Her contributions were often linked to her former role as a Soviet operative, particularly after the Russian Communist regime collapsed in 1991.
In the more nuanced world of the 2000s, Black Widow has become a more standard sexy-but-lethal espionage character, generally working with the good guys against international threats, but her fraught background makes her a morally ambiguous figure, prone to rogue behaviour. In the page featured, Black Widow takes on Alexei Shostakov, Natalia’s original husband. Shostakov began as the Soviet version of Captain America, Red Guardian, frequently working with his wife on anti Western missions during the Cold War. Alexei became estranged from Natalia after her defection, and in the post-Soviet era, the need for Red Guardian was no more, so Shostakov took on the role of Ronin, a more conventional super assassin for hire, although he retained a love for Mother Russia. Working with a terrorist group known as the Dark Ocean Society, Ronin was eventually taken down by a number of Avengers, including Black Widow, and was actually, rather embarrassingly for him, captured and incarcerated by his ex-wife.
Black Widow, for me, falls rather unfortunately between the stools of more convincing DC heroines/villainesses such as Catwoman and Huntress and never quite equals either, her earlier politicisation as a character perhaps not helping. Her current role as a modern Modesty Blaise-type figure perhaps suits her best.

PIETRO COULD HAVE JUST CHOSEN TO STAY IN SOKOVIA AND HELP THEM REBUILD
HE DIDN'T NEED TO DIE IN ORDER TO BE ABSENT FROM MCU MOVIES
HE COULD HAVE JUST CHOSEN TO NOT BE AN AVENGER AND THEN HE COULD HAVE SAVED CLINT WITHOUT GETTING SHOT WHICH WOULD MAKE SENSE SINCE HE'S A SPEEDSTER!
Also we could have gotten a scene where Clint thanked him for saving him and asks how he can repay him, Pietro is about to leave for Sokovia and looks back at Wanda after they've said their goodbyes and just tells Clint "Protect her." And then in Infinity War Vision and Wanda could mention visiting family while they were in hiding.
THEN when the snap happens, Pietro immediately goes looking for Wanda and finds out shes gone. He'd then go searching for Clint and would find him in his home before he becomes Ronin and because Pietro is a bit of a hothead, he loses it when he finds out Clint wasn't there to protect Wanda which would send Clint even more over the edge. (This would all have to be explained in the Hawkeye series because Disney would have had to take over 20th Century Fox first)
After everyone comes back, Wanda looks for Vision's body and Tyler Hayward mentions looking for Wanda's next of kin (as a desperate act to reanimate Vision) and not being able to find anyone. So Wanda assumes Pietro is dead which leads to her believing that she has no one now.
Then, the moment we find out that Fietro is really just Ralph Bohner, Monica hears a chuckle from the doorway and in a familar accent someone says "You didn't see that coming?" And then hard cut to the next scene. Then have a scene toward the end after Wanda leaves where Pietro sees her leaving and starts to follow her.
Now you have the anticipation of long separated siblings reuniting after both believing the other to be dead. Pietro has purpose that makes sense for his character and isn't just for the plot of one movie and then disposed of.
It also presents the possibility of Pietro reuniting with Wanda after the events MoM and him making a promise that he'd never abandon her but honestly, you could do so much with his character at this point in time.
(Bonus points if Ralph and Pietro have an enemies to friends relationship)
All I'm saying is if he didn't die, with the right writers he would have added a lot to the movies.

I'm watching Avengers: Endgame for the seventh(?) time as a part of a Guardians of the Galaxy movie marathon, and MAN. I still want to see what led Hawkeye to become Ronin in those five years after the Snap.

Things about the Barton kids that I thought up:
Cooper Barton cannot aim for the life of him. (Potential joke: “Unfortunately, aim is not hereditary, as proven by Cooper Barton.”)
All of the Barton kids are varying degrees of HoH and D/deaf. It’s a hereditary trait. Clint thought he was going deaf because of the explosions he was around, but he didn’t realize he was wrong until Cooper failed a hearing test.
All of them consider Kate a sister, to the point that Nathaniel actually thinks she’s related to them.
Lila does not grow up to be another Hawkeye–she ends up trying to redeem her father’s name as Ronin (this is assuming Maya Lopez doesn’t wind up Ronin.)
It’s Nathaniel that winds up as the Hawkeye after Kate.
Cooper wants to be a cartoonist. Everytime he hears stories from his siblings and their friends about the fights they were in, he draws comics of them. (He occasionally does collaborations with Sloth Baby Studios.)
Cooper’s middle name is Barney. No one will explain why.
When Nathaniel eventually becomes fluent in ASL, D/deaf or not, he prefers to use sign language. (It’s a language you can speak silently and underwater, it is freaking awesome.)
Lila has monthly fencing sessions with Kate.
Laura Barton has had to call 911 for her kids so many times that she is now on a first name basis with all of the operators.
This is probably going to be another Harley Keener situation where Marvel forgets about them, but I just thought these might be fun ideas.

ENTER THE REVENANT… | ORIGINAL STORY + OC’s
ENTER, THE CALYPSO SHIP. The year 2533.
In a distant galaxy, a group of 8 young individuals were assembled to track and observe the extraterrestrial life forms given the name THE REVENANT. Given its name by American special forces in cooperation with NASA, the revenant life forms are an alien species found on the planet CALYPSO. Project Revenant was created by special forces in the year 2500 in connection to over 45 deaths on the ship ROMULUS, sent to the planet Calypso to study the alien life forms. All documents of their expedition were erased from public records, until 6 years later in which a new expedition was formed. Project revenant. The project covered a ship, containing 35 passengers, 8 of which would be the future team to detail the highly sought after Revenant species. When all members of the team reached 18 years old, their ship was disconnected from the NOSTRADAMUS mother ship and sent on a path to Calypso. All team members were trained in individual specialties by the NASA special forces for all needs to be met during the ship’s travel away from the mother ship. Once the Calypso team reached the outer rings of the planet, all communications to the Nostradamus were severed due to satellite interference in connection to the Revenant.
MEET THE CREW….
CAPTAIN TESSA “white wolf” KANE is the leader of the revenant and assigned pilot of the ship. Her parents were once well known physicists on the ROMULUS expedition, and were killed in action 6 years prior to the formation of the revenant. Tessa was assigned her position after years of extensive training for the mission, and dedication in leading her closest friends that would soon become her crew. Tessa is 24 years old, born on July 21st, 2509. (fc: cailee spaeny)
LAYLA “reaper” CARTERS is second in command to tessa, and is the captain’s closest friend. After being orphaned shortly after the disaster on the ROMULUS expedition, she bonded with tessa and found herself growing closer with the kane family. Layla had training in aviation prior to the formation of project revenant and worked alongside Tessa’s older brother in learning cartography skills. Layla is 24, born on March 7th, 2509. (fc: ella purnell)
JASON “indiana” KANE is the older brother of Tessa and the lead tracker and cartographer of the revenant. Jason studied alongside his father in his teenage years learning chemistry before his passing, and trained his younger sister in basic training. Jason faced his struggles after the death of his parents, but stayed strong in order to lead alongside his sister and secure his place on the revenant expedition. Jason is 27, born on September 17th, 2506. (fc: kyle gallner)
ELAINE “hawkeye” WILSON is the weapons and tech expert on the revenant. Elaine was trained in weaponry by her father, and found an interest in technology on the ship as she grew older. While on the revenant, she receives transmissions from home base and is in charge of any repairs needed on the ship. Elaine’s closest friend, CLARISSA, also shares similar interests and the two work together on the ship. Elaine is 24, born on December 9, 2509. (fc: sophie thatcher)
CLARISSA “monarch” PALMER is the weather tracker and repairs expert on the revenant, alongside elaine. Clarissa was hesitant to join the revenant team, leaving her mother behind alone at base, but was ultimately persuaded to for the sake of the research they were setting out for. Her close relationship with Elaine kept her going during the long time spent on the revenant, as she even sent messages to Clarissa’s mother during their time on the ship. Clarissa is 24, born on June 24th, 2509. (fc: amandla stenberg)
RYAN “ronin” MICHEALS is the extraterrestrial life expert on the revenant and training specialist for the team alongside Jason. Ryan was a lone wolf for most of his teenage years after the passing of his parents when he was 6, but grew close with Jason during their training for project revenant. The two work closely together while on the ship and Ryan has also grown close with Tessa. Ryan is 25, born on February 12, 2508. (fc: rohan campbell)
NOTE ! (hi hi guys <33 since the alien romulus trailer dropped i have not been able to stop thinking about it so i decided to write my own standalone verse + characters inspired by it and im so excited so share them with u!! i’ll be posting the first chapter soon <3)

Blink of an eye
Blink of an eye https://ift.tt/dz4r7Ja by Willofhounds Before Clint Barton was an Agent with SHIELD he was the mercenary Hawkeye and occasionally the mercenary Ronin. Clint never told Fury or Couslon about his past as Ronin. Clint does everything in his power to avoid his past. Until it comes knocking once more. Phil had known for years Barton didn't tell them everything when he was recruited. It was a risk they took when they brought him into SHIELD. Phil knew he could count on Clint to have his back and obey orders. The incident with Black Widow not withstanding. But his agent becomes skittish and hard to pin down. After a mission, Strike Team Delta goes through their debrief. Afterwards, Phil notices the blood. It was just a smear on the back of his hand, at first he doesn't think anything of it. Hawkeye vs. Kingpin. I really do appreciate that Kate gets the big supervillain fight. At the end of the day, this was her show moreso than Clint's. Fisk is the whole reason her mom has had to... do something... for decades now. He's been the shadow controlling her family all along.
The fight with Fisk demonstrates just how powerful the Kingpin has become now that he's no longer limited by the grounded and realistic Netflix setting. The man is an ox. Ridiculously strong and nigh invulnerable, able to get hit by a speeding car and smashed through a brick wall, and then get back up no worse for wear.
This feels like an appropriate final boss fight to seal the deal on Kate's ascension into Clint's legacy. This is the guy that even Ronin never could take down. And against all odds, Kate pulls it off, detonating a cluster of arrowheads point-blank to overwhelm even Fisk's impressive toughness.
It's a short fight, but a poignant one for Kate's growth.

Get to Know the Character
name: Clinton Francis Barton
name meaning: Clinton (settlement on a hill/hilltop town), Francis (free man), Barton (barley settlement, son of furrows, rich in land)
alias/es: Hawkeye // formerly Ronin, Goliath, Captain America, Golden Archer, Bowman
ethnicity: white american
one picture you like best of your chara:
ten people your character likes / loves:
Kate Bishop
Natasha Romanov
Bucky Barnes
Bobbi Morse
Wade Wilson
Jessica Drew
Wanda Maximoff
Steve Rogers
Peter Parker (@crisispider)
Leonard Mccoy (@thefleetsfinest)
five headcanons
Clint and Kate use to cook together; do Hawkeye family dinners. When they did nights like this, it was kind of important to leave their hangs up at the door and just be friends, family, with each other
Clint consider picking up / trying cigarettes and smoking when he was going sober and quitting alcohol; he ultimately never adopted the habit which is probably good for him
While he doesn't really read much anymore, he still collects books from certain authors and genres. Pulp fictions, westerns, mysteries and romance are the notable genres. He has a few of the gothic and horror classics too. There is in fact a small section of cowboy erotica on his shelves. He's choosy about the books and covers though, he liked used books best.
Dogs are his favorite animal; absolutely spoils dogs the most, any dog he sees is getting a snack but Clint is actually just an animal guy. He liked to play with frogs and toads, always gentle with them, liked being around the horses and animals at the circus. Can be a sweet to a kitty or two. He's been known to pick up a stray or few and find them a home, or take them somewhere safe.
Clint likes to fish and hunt but he does it cleanly and respectful. Not a trophy hunter, but if he kills any game than he uses as much as he can; always cooks and eat all of it. So if he's hunting, it's typically a one kill and he is choosy. (hawkeye 1994 / he literally lives off the land in canada for months)
three things your character regrets:
How he handled things with Bobbi
Killing Bruce Banner
Not going with Barney when he left the circus
three things your character likes doing in their free time:
Cooking, trying new recipes, barbecuing
Hikes // getting out of the city and into nature
Get coffee and jelly donuts (find the best place in all five borough of new york and new jersey)
two phobia your character has:
Becoming his father
Not being enough
Tagged by: sniped from the dash and adjusted some things
Tagging: steal it and use as you like !!

So I decided to design also Hawkeye movies, I estimated that there should be four movies about Hawkeye.
But before I start I want to say that the only things that makes me qualified to design movies are tiktoks and videos that I watched about making movies, being in theatre classes, my teachers passion to talk about movies, being marvel fan, hating on mcu, my ADHD and overthinking at night random stuff.
So in the first part would be about Clint getting to know Natasha and it would end with joining the Avengers. It introduces him and the way he acts.
The second part would be about his childhood, but told in retrospection, him being human disaster while trying to deal with crimes. His terrible relationship skills, introducing of Barny. Probably . Shows a little bit of Kate Bishop (not as a hawkeye yet) and Clint fits her dad.
And the third part, it starts with quick summary what happened in the time between. And we get His time as Ronin. Kate Bishop becoming a Hawkeye, we get to see were from comes ronin mantle.
The last movie shows in flashbacks that finally he again started to go by Hawkeye, him and Kate being Partners, adoption of Lucky the pizza dog. Based on Kelly Thompson comic.
Don't worry there will be more parts, maybe that's why you should worry

Since “Wonder Man” is centered on an actor-turned-superhero, for the upcoming show, I have a few ideas:
1) Behind-the-scenes of a biopic centered on Scott Lang. Paul Rudd appears as himself and the running gag is that people are convinced he’s just Scott Lang pretending to be Paul. The payoff is that Scott actually appears at the end of the episode and thanks Paul for playing him.
2) Wonder Man decides to write the script for a Hawkeye biopic. However, since Clint Barton doesn’t want his family to be named in the movie, the names are changed in the script. Much to Clint’s dismay, Wonder Man rewrites the script so that Lila Barton is renamed to “Kate Barton”, which is just a coincidence but gets a good reaction from both Clint and Kate Bishop.
3) Revealed that Jean-Claude Van Damme starred in a Captain America period drama/biopic that was made in the 1990s. The movie was criticized for casting JCVD since it didn’t make sense that New Yorker Steve Rogers had a thick, Belgian accent.
4) Instead of the superhero genre dominating entertainment, it’s something else. Maybe in the MCU, they have the SMCU (Supernatural Monsters Cinematic Universe).
5) Wonder Man is cast in an indie comedy film starring Nathan Fielder. The episode plays out like an episode of “Nathan For You”.
6) Jordan Peele makes a guest appearance as himself. He wants to make a horror film starring Wonder Man, but doesn’t know what the plot will be. He then becomes inspired to make a slasher film after reading about the “Ronin massacre”.

Into the Anthill pt 15 - Scott Lang
While both Clint Barton and Bill Foster had already used the Goliath name, Hank never took a personal interest in training a successor until Scott Lang stole his Ant-Man suit. The two of them seemed to get along very well, and Yellowjacket brought him along on Avengers missions to get him experience in the field. Most of this period of Hank’s comics history is good, lighthearted comic fun... and then there’s Avengers #200.
We don’t talk about Avengers #200.
🐜🐜🐜
Avengers vol 1 #179-182
As part of the government’s terms for re-instating the Avengers’ priority clearance, Tony Stark hired Scott Lang to install new security systems into Avengers Mansion and Iron Man called a meeting to downsize the team to a core group of 7. This new team was chosen by the National Security Council based on their own interests: Iron Man, Vision, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Beast, Wasp, and Falcon (since Black Panther was not available and the government had minority quotas to fill). Any Avenger not on the team was granted reserve member status, but they were not meant to be called in without permission from the NSC.
Marvel Premiere vol 1 #48
Darren Cross kidnapped Dr. Erica Sondheim to operate on his heart, which had been enhanced by an experimental pacemaker that gave him superpowers. He wanted her on-hand to regularly transplant new hearts into him that he intended to farm from the homeless. Scott Lang, whose daughter Cassie would die from her own heart condition without Sondheim’s help, stole Hank’s original Ant-man suit to rescue her. Dr. Sondheim sabotaged the transplant and Cross died while fighting Scott. Yellowjacket, who had been observing since the moment Scott took the suit, acknowledged Scott as a hero and allowed him to become the second Ant-Man.
Avengers Annual vol 1 #9
A robotic menace called Arsenal that had been dormant in a cavern under Avengers Mansion was activated and grabbed Beast and Hawkeye. Yellowjacket was able to avoid it by shrinking and let the rest know where it was. Arsenal was being controlled by an AI copy of Maria Stark, who had been waiting for Howard to return for decades. When Tony told her the truth she chose to self-destruct, rendering Arsenal inert once more.
Defenders vol 1 #78-81
Hank arrived in Las Vegas via Quinjet to pick up Janet, who had been there with Valkyrie and Hellcat. On the way home the group intercepted an Air Force distress signal and detoured to Colorado to check it out. With Yellowjacket and Valkyrie leading the charge, the Defenders faced off against Mutant Force and a brainwashed squad of women under Mandrill’s control. Wasp was able to escape and call Nighthawk, but Yellowjacket was captured and Valkyrie and Hellcat were enthralled. After Nighthawk saved them and Mandrill escaped, Wasp offered to join the Defenders and volunteered Yellowjacket for the team as well.
Avengers vol 1 #192, 195-201
The Avengers regained their autonomy from the government, so immediately Jan called Hank to get him to come back to the team. He politely refused, just wanting to focus on his work. Inevitably, he was forced to return to the team to save Jan from her most recent kidnapping at a henchmen training facility. Because this was an infiltration mission, Yellowjacket brought Ant-Man along for hero training. They rescued Jan, but all of them were then beaten by Taskmaster. Scott was able to send ants to signal the team to come in and save them before his helmet was taken. Jocasta was able to beat Taskmaster, but he escaped by using a flare. In honor of her service, Cap nominated her for Avengers membership.
Red Ronin, the giant robot that recently failed to stop Godzilla, was stolen by a SHIELD scientist who wanted to use it to start World War III and trick the world into uniting against a common cause (him). Jocasta and Beast were able to disable it from the inside.
Then there’s a horrible storyline in Avengers 200 that I’m not going into detail on, suffice to say that as far as I’m concerned it’s probably the most heinous thing Marvel Comics has ever put to page. After that happened, the Avengers split up to take some time off, Hank heading to an electronics symposium in Tokyo while Jan stayed home.
Minor/Cameo appearances from this period:
Avengers vol 1 #189
Marvel Team-Up vol 1 #88
Hulk Comics UK #48-49
Bizarre Adventures vol 1 #27

What If...The Hawkeyes Brought the House Down?
Since we know that What If...? is coming to an end with Season 3, here's a piece I did for the rumored episode in Season 1 where Peter Parker would become a version of Hawkeye, as well as a full story for the idea, inspired by Dark Reign: The List by Brian Micheal Bendis.
Apologies again for the lengthiness and I hope you enjoy it!
------------------------------------
In this universe, both Derek and Eleanor Bishop were killed in the Battle of New York. Their daughter Kate, on the other hand, was trapped underneath some rubble caused by the Chitauri attack.
Shortly after the Battle was over, she was found alive by a man named Ben Parker, who pulled her from the rubble and brought her to medical attention. Taking pity on the orphaned young girl, Ben decided to bring Kate home with him, adopting her as his own. After introducing her to his wife May, Kate eventually met Ben's nephew Peter Parker.
Although Kate felt initially isolated from the rest of her new family, Peter welcomed her in with open arms as a new sister of sorts, letting her know she's part of the family now. The two then made a promise to protect each other and their family, no matter what.
———————————————————————————
As the two grew up together, their Aunt May and Uncle Ben inherited the Bishop Family Fortune, including the company of Bishop Security, allowing them to afford to send their kids to private school together.
- [ ] Throughout their middle and high school career, Kate and Peter - inspired by her favorite hero Clint Barton/Hawkeye - went through high amounts of martial arts training, being able to gain many medals in several competitions.
- [ ] During their time at high school, Peter designed a handful of trick arrows for him and Kate to use, as well as customizing their archery suits to be more stylish. The two of them would often joke about possible archer nicknames, with Peter's settling on Bowslinger.
- [ ] One day in 2015, during a walk through Central Park, Peter, Kate, and Ben were cornered by a mugger, who told them to hand over what they could. The siblings attempts to intervene only caused Ben to be fatally injured by a stray bullet fired from the muggers gun. Peter knocked out the robber as the pair held their Uncle Ben in his last moments.
- [ ] After Ben's passing, May accepted his position as part of the board of Bishop Security, helping steer the company in a more constructive and protective direction.
- [ ] Because of the changes to the timeline caused by Eleanors’ death, in 2018, Peter, Kate, and their family survived the Blip.
———————————————————————————
In the summer of 2021, Peter and Kate were home in New York on break from school. During a charity gala to honor those lost by the Blip, the two accidentally eavesdropped on Armand Duquesne III's conversation with William Lopez, who left shortly after. Suspecting that something was amiss, the two of them managed to slip away from the party and grab their archer gear, following Lopez to the Fat Man Auto Repair, finding the Tracksuit Mafia members inside.
As Peter and Kate contemplated calling the police for assistance, their conversations were interrupted by screams coming from inside the shop. The two of them made their way around the building, seeing through the windows the Tracksuits being attacked by the Ronin, using his sword to cut them down and slaughter the criminals while they begged for mercy.
Peter and Kate did their best to stay out of the Ronin's sight during his rampage, until they saw through an open door the Ronin attacking William Lopez. As an injured Lopez pleaded for mercy, the vigilante was about to stab and kill him, until Kate intervened and threw his bola at Ronin's sword, knocking it away from him.
———————————————————————————
The Ronin turned his gaze sharply to Kate, annoyed to see her and Peter interfering with his hit job. Peter tells William to run as the two archers engage with the vigilante. The three fighters engaged in a full-on fight, with Ronin managing to outmatch the pair with his experience. Realizing fighting hand to hand would be useless, Peter switched to Plan B, using his skills with geometry to make the Ronin dodge his and Kate's arrows, making it look like they was a bad shots when in reality they were setting his wire arrows in the right spots to trap Ronin.
As Ronin managed to knock Kate away and kick Peter back into a tool chest, he held his blade to his throat, telling him to stay out of his way. Peter coyly played like he was outmatched, while secretly hitting the switch for the wire arrows, activating them. Unfortunately for them, Ronin saw through the whole act, using his sword to knock away one of the wire hooks, accidentally tying up Kate, before leaping midair to dodge the rest of them.
Ronin attempts to get away, only to get shot in the ear by a stray bullet, disorienting him. The three turn to see Maya Lopez standing in the door, pointing a gun at the vigilante. She pinned the incapacitated hero to the ground, holding her gun to his face. She unmasks the Ronin, revealing himself to a surprised Kate and Peter to be none other than Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye.
She then knocks out Barton, and then points her gun at the other two archers, telling them that they are coming with her. Peter and Kate try to talk their way out of it until two Tracksuits knock them out from behind, rendering them unconscious.
———————————————————————————
Peter, Kate, and Clint woke up in the Tracksuit's base of operations, finding themselves tied up and their weapons missing. As Kate tries awkwardly introducing herself to Clint, he just ignores it, unable to hear anything with his ear messed up from the bullet wound.
Soon, Maya, William, and Kazi walk into the room, with William demanding to know who the other two are and what the Ronin wants from them. Recognizing the Ronin was unwilling to cooperate and unable to understand them due to his injury, Maya turns her attention to Peter and Kate, asking who they are, using Kazi to translate. They reply that they are just fans of Barton who were in the wrong place at the wrong time, dragging out the conversation enough for Peter to slowly cut through the rope with a spare arrowhead in his wrist.
Annoyed by the conversation, Maya points a gun at Peter, prepared to shoot him, only for Parker to break free and redirect the gun to break Clint free of his restraints. After freeing Kate, a full-on fight ensues as the three attempt to locate their gear. Kate manages to find their bows and arrows and Ronin's sword, tossing them to the others as bullets and arrows go flying about. During the fight, One of Kate's badges from Bishop Security got knocked away from her.
Peter managed to trap most of the Tracksuits with a foamy trick arrow, allowing for him, Kate, and Clint to escape in Maya's car, but not before finding a stray dog in the back of the car and taking him with them as they escape. Kazi attempts to give chase, but Maya holds them back, pointing to Kate's fallen badge. William examines the badge, telling Maya and Kazi to contact their boss.
———————————————————————————
After finding an audiologist to get him a hearing aid, Barton, Parker, Bishop, and the dog went to Peter and Kate's apartment in Queens. After confiscating Ronin's sword, the two of them request for Barton to tell them everything. When Clint asks why he would do that, Kate tells him they have cameras from Bishop Security installed for burglars, and that if he tries anything they'll signal for the police to arrive.
Reluctantly, Clint tells them he was following a tip from one of Wilson Fisk's informants, saying that he was hoping to find someone who could give him a lead to Kingpin. Peter inquires why, to which Barton tells him he's been making a list of things that must be done to change the status quo because of the Blip, and that Fisk is at the top of it.
After discussing the situation with each other, they agree to help Clint find Kingpin, clarifying they would not help kill him. He reluctantly accepts, figuring they'll be a part of this now one way or another. They leave the dog behind, with Kate nicknaming him Lucky.
———————————————————————————
Later that evening, Kazi is out on patrol per Fisk's orders, looking for the trio, when his tire gets shot out. Kazi gets out to check the tire, only to be caught in a snare that suspends him upside down from a lamppost. The trio emerges from the shadows, surrounding the Tracksuit thug.
After Peter and Kate tie up Kazi, Clint orders him to tell them why they set him up. A terrified Kazi confesses that Fisk needed to give the Ronin a red herring to throw him off his trail, and William was the closest target he had.
Kazi then asks who the other two are, to which Peter says that's none of their business. Kazi disagrees, saying they know Kate is Derek Bishop's daughter, saying they found her badge at their base. Clint then tries to kill Kazi out of frustration, which makes him let slip about Sloan Ltd.; Clint then searches Kazi, finding an ID for Sloan on him. The three then flee the scene as the police arrive, with both Peter and Kate determined to find out what her father's link to the Tracksuits and Kingpin is.
———————————————————————————
The trio then make their way to Bishop Security to obtain information about the Tracksuits. Upon entering May's office, they find signs of a struggle, with windows partly broken and the files ransacked. After Peter hacks into Sloan Ltd. through Kazi's account, they discover his employment there and that the company was a money laundering front for the Tracksuit Mafia with Fisk as its CEO.
Wanting to know more about Kate's family's link to Fisk, Peter cross references the tax transactions from Sloan with any from Bishop Security, finding tax files linking from Fisk directed to Derek Bishop. Doing some research they also discover one of the members of Sloan was listed as inactive since late 2015, which unnerves them sightly. They pull up the employee's files shocked to see it is the same man who murdered Uncle Ben in Central Park all those years ago.
Kate then puts the pieces together. Derek borrowed money from Kingpin when their family was in debt, and that debt was still unpaid after he and Eleanor died. The mugging in Central Park was an attempt by Fisk to get Kate and get what he could of the Bishop Family's fortune, and Ben paid the price for it.
As the two of them are reeling from this revelation, suddenly the laptop flickers before it goes black. It then switches on again, this time with Fisk on the other end. Wilson introduces himself to the pair, saying it's an honor to finally meet Kate. Peter shuts him up, demanding him to turn himself over for what he's done before this gets worse. Wilson ignores his demands, continuing on about how Derek owed him a great debt, a debt that Kate must now pay in full.
He then shows a captured May in the background of the frame, giving them an ultimatum: deliver Kate to Fisk to transfer their fortune back over to him by midnight, or they'll both lose the last bit of family they have left.
This is the final straw for Clint, who smashes the laptop shut and declares that he is going to kill Kingpin himself, ordering the tow of them to stay put. Peter tells him he's acting crazy and they need to think this through, but Barton justifies that they let this very evil snake its way into power and they can't let it continue.
Kate tries to appeal to his humanity, arguing that brutally murdering people is wrong and would not make things better. Barton retaliated, explaining to Bishop that hurting people is what he was trained to do, as he is a weapon, despite his time doing good as an Avenger. Kate tells them that's he's not going without them, to which Barton sadly disagrees, gassing her with the stolen head of a knockout arrow. Peter leaps to sister's defense, only be swiftly taken out by a knock to the head.
———————————————————————————
Pete and Kate wake up back in their apartment in Queens, tied together with their weapons out of reach. Their attempts to escape are futile, only falling back against the floor. A frustrated Kate apologizes to Peter for everything that he lost because of her, feeling like she failed to keep her promise to protect their family.
Peter reassures her that what happened to Ben was not her fault, neither what has happening now. He laments that he understands what it's like to be lost and alone, but that's different now, because they have each other, and that's how they will get through it.
They then feel and look around for something that can cut the rope with; eventually they see Lucky wandering in from the other room. After getting Lucky's attention, they manages to get him to fetch one of their arrowhead, using it to cut themselves free. After retrieving their gear, and manufacturing some more new trick arrows from scratch, the two head off to save May.
———————————————————————————
Later that evening, May sat hostage in Fisk's Penthouse, with Maya, William, Kazi and the other Tracksuits surrounding the place. Fisk's attempts to make small talk with May gives him nothing but cold silence.
Just as he was about to raise and offer her a toast, the lights went out, as members of the Tracksuits began falling left and right at the hands of the Ronin. Clint fought through each and every one of the members. Unfortunately, Maya managed to knocks Barton aside and grabs his sword, slashing him in the leg. The other Tracksuits pile onto Clint, dogpiling and overwhelming him.
———————————————————————————
Fisk's men bring the apprehended Ronin to the Kingpin, who unmasks him front of everyone, surprised to see it is the former Hawkeye underneath it.
Fisk then asks why Barton would go on such a rampage as the Ronin, to which he informed him that it was the fact they survived and half the population did not, and he warns Fisk that he can either die quickly or slowly at his hand.
Wilson taunts Clint for believing that he could take down everything he's built and tries shooting him, only to have the shots stopped by Kate and Peter's intervention.
The two of them shot smoke arrows at they descend from the rafters, with Kate getting May clear and out of the building while Peter frees Clint and fends off the other Tracksuits.
Fisk makes a run for the rooftop as Clint pursues; Peter tries to give chase, only to be tackled to the ground by Maya. Peter manages to hold his own against her as they exchange blows, but not for long, as Maya overpowers him and pins him to the ground, trying to crush his windpipe with her prosthetic foot.
But before she can do anything, she is disarmed by Kate who shoots loose her leg with an arrow, allowing Peter to throw her off and reacquire his bow, pointing an arrow at Maya. William intervenes, telling them not to hurt her.
Recognizing that she's William's daughter, he tells them to get out his city, but not before letting slip that Fisk ordered Kazi to have Ronin kill William. The two leave the building as Peter and Kate fight their way through the remaining tracksuits, trying to get to Clint.
———————————————————————————
Clint runs down the hall as best he can, finally making it to Fisk, only for him to initiate a security lockdown, initiating reinforced steel doors that block Clint from him. Unfortunately, this inadvertently helps Clint as in his attempts to find a way through the door, he finds an air vent in the ceiling, and a way to the roof.
Fisk manage to get to the rooftop where the chopper is waiting, telling them they need to go. The helicopter's attempts to take off are thwarted as an explosive charge hits one of the engines, grounding the chopper and sending it crashing back to the rooftop.
As a bloodied Kingpin crawls his way out of the chopper, Barton then grabs him by the throat and drags him to the edge of the building, planning on dropping him to his demise, only for Pete and Kate to appear, pointing their arrows at him, telling him to stop what's doing now.
Barton ignores them and lets go of Fisk, but not before Kate shoots a grappling arrow that catches Fisk and suspends him over the city. The two archers then engage in a brutal fight with Ronin, blades and arrows clashing over the rooftop. Despite their effort, Clint manages to outsmart the two of them, slicing off their quivers and kicking them off the roof. After dislocating Peter's ankle and kicking him and Kate back into an AC unit, he grabs one of their bows and a leftover arrow, prepared to end this.
As he marches to the ledge to execute Fisk, Kate jumps in front of him, telling him not to do this. Clint just holds up his bow and arrow, telling her to move now before she got hurt. Kate tries to appeal to his humanity once again, telling Barton about how she had witnessed the Battle of New York, and how she witnessed him fighting the aliens that day and that he had saved her from an attack.
She told Clint that he was her inspiration to become a hero, to which he just retorts that is the furthest thing from one. He then goes on a rant of how the Blip took everything he had left, his wife, his sons and daughter, and nobody cared. Things only got worse, like Fisk and his criminal reign, saying this path was the only way they could beat it.
Kate tells Clint that this isn't what his family would want, and if he wants to kill Fisk this, he'll have to kill her too. Despite hesitating and thinking desperately of his wife and three children, Barton ultimately sighs, about to release his arrow. Fortunately, his attempts to shoot are stopped by Peter, who manages to aim and throw a piece of debris that injures Clint's thumb, making him miss the shot and allowing Kate to grab the arrow and stab him in the foot, allowing her to knock him to the ground.
The duo stand over the defeated Ronin, telling him that his warpath is done. Clint just lays there defeated, lamenting to the two of them about his losses, breaking down into tears at the thought of what he's done.

The police arrive at Fisk's Penthouse and place Barton and Fisk under arrest. Peter and Kate make sure May is safe and sound before going to see the Ronin off. Before Clint leaves, he gives Kate the notebook with the list in it, telling her and Peter to finish it, approving her as the new Hawkeye.
The cop car drive away as Kate looks on, lamenting to Peter and May about how Clint was who she wanted to be like growing up, but now with his fate as the Ronin, she doesn't know what to do know. Peter reassures her that no matter what happens, they'll do it together as Hawkeye and Bowslinger.
As Kate humorously laughs at that bit, the three of them are then surprised by the Lucky, who followed them to the scene. May immediately takes a liking to him, giving him a handful of hugs and kisses. The family then walks off into the streets of New York, determined to put the wrong things right, together.

Sorry about the lengthiness, but since the series is coming to a close this December, I thought it would be a cool crossover idea and a possible means for explore more of the unexplored grounded levels of the Blip. Plus it would be a good way to adapt one of Hawkeye's darker storylines into the MCU without hurting the main continuity.
Hope you like it!
