i had this planned for the comic series but im a lazy ass

So, Simon meets Stella at the port of hawaii, she was there greeting the tourists and stuff

He befriends stella but don't talk again after that

UNTIL simon meets her once again at the shore of the beach at night

They talk a lil bit more and start seeing eachother more often

then BOOM, loOoOOove comes out and they start dating

until stella fucking dies.

below cut context of what is The Truman Show (really fucking big text btw

The media itself its actually a movie, despite having ''show'' in it, you will see why next

The truman show is a 1998 movie about Truman Burbank, he starts noticing weird shit like a stage light falling out of the sky, the radio suddenly switches the frecuency to an studio narrating every move he makes in the car just so later they excuse it as ''hoho! accidentally got in the police radio, silly radio"

Anyway he starts getting suspicious that he's living in a show (he is) and later on finds out he's on a made-up town were his wife, best friend and LITERALLY EVERYONE are actors

Even the wife admmits he can't stand Truman, but i get it they were forced to be together for TV, the actual person that truman loves or loved was this girl named Sylvia that was once an actor of the show but she felt bad for truman so she took him to a private place and explained to him that he's living in a simulation, nothing's real and she told him her real name.

The studio found out about that so they did like those government things of putting them down and sayin "oh she was schizophrenic!!!!"

Obviously they didn't kill her but she got kicked out of the truman cast

anyway, the rest of the movie is truman trying to escape from the suburbia overture-esk world despite every actor trying to gaslight him and trying to keep him there

Also, in the movie there's 2 lesbian grandmas watching the show together which was really fucking cute

I'm giving this movie an 9/10, im not giving it a 10 because i can't make out with truman but whatever

The dementia arc of a 17 year old simon is instead a 50 year old simon with alzheimer

and instead of the infirmary, its the nursing home or smth

if you wanna add layers of tragic, Stella never actually dies and takes care of Simon while witnessing how he doesn't remember her actual face. He only remembers youngers stella and stuff
