#man i dont even have the energy to be mad. im just tired#like. dont u love it when your parents exhibit symptoms of ADHD and your sibling is diagnosed with a learning disability#and instead of thinking oh shit what if the other one has smth too. they subject you to The Horrors#i cant bring myself to hate my parents. but im tired of feeling obligated to defend them when the thing they think is working#isnt actually working and ive just found other ways to cope to avoid any sort of conflict. like lying and stealing. lol#if someone took me aside and said 'hey so your brain doesnt make as much dopamine as usual and its not a bad thing it just means you#need external stimulation and reward system to function and youre not actually secretly fucked up or lazy' as a kid#im pretty sure i wouldnt be here rn with half the problems i already have. unfortunately getting diagnosed late means u dont have a teacher#to back you up at a parent teacher conference that forces your parents to take this shit seriously instead of ignoring it hoping itll#go away on its own. but hey what do i know i have squirrel ipad baby disease. what do i know about my own symptoms#AND. AND i think im allowd to be mad bc ive been doing my own research on this for years before and after diagnosis#theyve been putting me thru the WORST parenting techniques on earth. which they could have corrected at anytime but they were#comfortable thinking they were doing it right and didnt bother to check if they were or werent fucking up their kid in the long run#and refusing to acknowledge it. i just!! they just decided one day hey lets make babies!! and just looked at books on how to make#a human being survive as long as possible!!! what the fuck!!!!#im sorry for putting this on ppls dashes but i am. so tired. of bottling this up. and im not looking for sympathy or anything i just need#to scream and clench my fists to SOMEONE about it because theyre not gonna take this well up the ass. sigh#yapping#vent

ੈ♡˳·˖✶ — TEEN DAD! GOJO SATORU x FEM READER
The Zenins want Megumi. Gojo isn’t having it.
wc — 1.7k
tags — one suggestive line after “those girls are better off without you” if you want to avoid it, set after 棠, part of teen dad gojoverse, in which you and Gojo raise Megumi together
Tumblr media
Gojo’s been in the doghouse since last night. Not literally, obviously - though he might have preferred it if you were there with him, at least. He’d take anything over being kicked out of your shared bedroom and being forced to sleep on the couch.
If you had it your way, you’d prolong his punishment, but you can’t. Not when, as he told you last night, the Zenins are coming today to wrest Megumi from your custody.
Fat chance.
You’d die before you let that happen.
Gojo’s not too keen on either of those outcomes. For the first time in his life, he’s taking the pacifist’s route and talking it out, though you’re sure his version of talking involves more insults than most people’s.
He thought about simply having it out with the elders, but it’s not worth it. Not when he has a plan for the future of Jujutsu Society. Not when he has you, Megumi, and Tsumiki. He’s playing the long game. He can’t afford to screw it up now.
Being a family man really has ruined him.
Zenin Keiko is a tall woman with a severe black bob and the characteristic Zenin look of perpetual contempt. She’s Naoya’s cousin, alright.
“Twice-removed,” Gojo whispers to you. “Or illegitimate. Something like that, I can’t remember.”
“Shut up,” you whisper back out of the corner of your mouth. “She’s going to hear you.”
Welcoming a Zenin into your home feels like blasphemy, though you suppose Gojo is the closest thing Jujutsu society has to a god.
Gojo’s unimpressed by her, mostly because he feels like the Zenins are mocking him. It’s not like anyone can take him on, but to send someone who has no battle capabilities feels like an insult.
Keiko is an auxiliary manager with no cursed technique to speak of besides a weak barrier. It’s a wonder she has the nerve to speak to Gojo. The Zenins truly did not care about her if they sent her as the proxy to undermine your roles as the Fushiguro children’s guardians. In fact, you suspect that’s the precise reason she was chosen - because she’s expendable.
Keiko, to her credit, shows no sign of fear.
“I’d like to meet the children, Mr. Gojo. It’ll give me a good grasp of what the situation is.”
“Hell no,” Gojo outright laughs in her face. “I’m not letting a Zenin near my brats. Your-“
“Gojo.” You squeeze his knee. Cooperate.
“I’ll go get them,” he says begrudgingly.
The two of you sandwich the children between you on the couch. Tsumiki sits on Gojo’s left. Megumi sits on your right. That way, the two that are most likely to fight are separated. It’s a strategized united front.
“Megumi, do you like your guardians? Do you like staying here?”
Megumi looks at you. You smile at him encouragingly - and there Keiko goes, scribbling away in her notebook. She’s probably saying something about how Megumi is so scared of you he won’t answer the question unless you give him permission.
“Are you sure? Forgive me, but Gojo seems a little…immature for a parent.”
A direct attack right out of the gates. Gojo objects to this very accurate assessment of his character.
“He’s fine, I guess,” Megumi says. There’s more scribbling. You’re starting to hate the sound of pen on paper. “I like-“
He looks at you. There’s a tiny blush on his cheeks, just the faintest hint of red. More quietly, he says, “It’s fine, cause she takes care of us.”
Gojo stares at him, slack-jawed. “Are you kidding me? You are one ungrateful brat. Who found you? Who took you in?”
Tsumiki chimes in, “We like Gojo a lot too! He’s fun.”
Keiko ignores her completely, focusing on Megumi instead. Your distaste for her grows.
“Would you say that Gojo has an active role in taking care of you?”
“Why aren’t you asking Tsumiki anything?” Megumi interrupts. “Her opinion’s important too.”
Keiko gives him a strained smile. Gojo reaches behind Tsumiki on the couch to ruffle Megumi’s hair. He only tolerates this for five seconds before he shakes his head to get him off.
“He loves me,” Gojo says.
“I have Stockholm syndrome,” Megumi says. ‘Help,’ he mouthes.
“He’s joking,” Tsumiki says nervously.
You’ve given up on making them behave. It’s just not happening.
Keiko seems to have given up too. Rather than continue prodding Megumi, she turns to Gojo.
“How often are you home?”
“Basically every day,” Gojo lies. He does try his best, but it’s more like every other day. Such is the fate of the strongest sorcerer.
“Don’t want my baby all alone, poor little thing.”
He catches your look and cackles. “No, the other one. My other baby,” and the kiss he presses to your knuckles is so tender it melts your heart.
Keiko makes an uncomfortable expression. “Please try to stay focused, Mr. Gojo.”
Megumi gags loudly. Tsumiki pinches his arm to get him to shut up and he yelps. Keiko narrows her eyes and makes another note.
“I understand how Gojo might take responsibility for the children,” Keiko says, directing her attention to you, “but how did you come into the picture. Are you a girlfriend-“
“Wife,” Gojo interjects.
Keiko’s entire body does an approximation of what it would look if a human had a screenshot function.
“Aren’t you children?”
You don’t like Keiko at all, but you respect the balls it takes to talk to Gojo like that. All the Zenins seem to have that death wish of wanting to mouth off to the strongest. Maybe it’s a genetic thing.
Gojo shrugs. “If I’m old enough for the missions you send me on, I’m old enough to take care of kids, right? How hard can it be?”
You pinch his thigh. “Gojo.”
“What? It is easy. You just give them a bunch of lollipops and call it a day.”
Keiko’s writing is now background noise to you. “Are you still doing that? I told you-“
“It’s fine! All kids need sugar to grow. I had a sweet tooth when I was their age.”
“And that’s probably the reason why you still have one now! Except it’s rotting your teeth-“
“It’s not-“
“It is!”
“Don’t be so uptight!”
“How does it look if I’m always saying no to him and you’re always saying yes? It isn’t fair, Satoru. Parenting has to be a team effort.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about you playing good cop, bad cop with him!”
“Have you gone insane? We went over this! He likes you more than me! There is no good cop, bad cop when he just takes your side every single time.”
“Excuse me,” Keiko says. She’s somehow managed to look a complex combination of perplexed, annoyed, and satisfied. “Please take care of your lovers’ tiffs outside of this interview. I will say that this doesn’t seem like an environment particularly conducive to raising children, however.”
“What do you know?” Gojo says rudely. “The only reason you’re even doing this interview is because I’m letting you.”
Normally, you would tell him off, but in front of the Zenins? You’re a united front. You place a hand on his forearm and look down your nose at the woman in front of you as best as you can when she’s taller than most people you meet.
“I think you’ve overstayed your welcome,” you say.
“You agreed to an interview,” she says.
“An interview, not an inquisition.”
“You can’t refuse a request from the elders without consequences,” she says, as patiently as she would speak to a child. It’s condescending.
“Are you threatening my wife?”
When you look to your side, Gojo’s face is shadowed. His eyes are storm dark and frightening. Keiko can’t hide her visceral reaction.
She forgets her coat on her way out, she’s in such a hurry to leave. Gojo takes it and disappears.
While he’s away, you let Megumi and Tsumiki return to their rooms. They’re muttering amongst themselves, but you don’t pry. Children need their space, too. You’ll talk to them about it later.
He’s back within a minute.
“What did you do with it?” You’re bracing yourself for the answer.
“I just sent a message,” he says, as cheerily as if nothing had happened. “Think we passed that?”
“Gojo, I think that’s the first test you’ve ever failed. Did you see the way she was writing during the last twenty minutes? And Megumi and Tsumiki! Every time they said something, she made a face!”
Gojo shrugs, still so certain of his place in the hierarchy. One day, the elders will get tired of him throwing his weight around like Jujutsu’s one and only tyrant, but not someday soon if they want to keep their heads.
“It’s fine,” he says. “I’m not going to make Megumi and Tsumiki act like repressed little puppet children just so that they can find some way to snipe them out from under us anyways. Who knows, maybe we’ll teach the Zenins a thing or two about healthy child raising. I hear they have two girls now. One of them has no cursed energy. Should we kidnap some more children?”
“Like you know anything about healthy parenting,” you snark. “Those girls are better off without you.”
“Does being mean to me get you off or something?”
“Do you want to find out?”
“I would love to,” he purrs, sliding a hand under your shirt just so slightly so his nails prick at your lower stomach. You grab his wrist.
“Sorry,” you say, your stomach churning at the joke gone wrong. “I can’t.”
He stops immediately. “What’s wrong?”
“I just- They want Megumi badly enough to go to the higher ups. I know what they do to their children. I can’t let him go there, Satoru. I can’t.”
“I won’t let that happen.”
“I can’t stop thinking about those girls.”
“Come here,” he says.
You lean closer to him. He lifts his arm so easily, without thinking. When you slide under it, you fit into him perfectly.
Now that you’re safely tucked under his arm, you feel sheltered from anything that could happen.  “I don’t want to give the kids to the Zenins. They’re monsters. And they would make monsters out of them.”
“That’s only if they take them away,” Gojo says, his smile fanged and vicious.
“And if they do?”
“I hope they try.”
You trust him.
You know he’ll keep his word. If Gojo says Megumi and Tsumiki won’t be going to the Zenins as long as he’s alive, then they won’t be going at all.

On the topic of mpreg this how I think the SVSSS characters would actually handle any surprise pregnancies
Shen Yuan- would fully ignore every pregnancy symptom and evidence as long as he could using the: "if I ignore it isn't real" technique. This would result in him having a baby and a LOT of panic attacks. He would love the child but wouldn't be good with them until they were old enough to talk and stuff
Shen Jiu - abortion. Unless something prevented him from finding out he was pregnant until he went into labour or his pregnancy was super seeded up or something. But if he has a choice he's having an abortion and he's correct in doing so. If he does have a kid he's forcing it on Yue Qingyuan and not having anything to do with them except hate them from a distance
Yue Qingyuan: keeping it and doting on it. The most likely to think some shit like "it's a precious life, I can't kill a life inside me?" Shen Jiu will at least seriously think about slipping him an abortifacient in his tea
Mu Qingfang: abortion. He's got too many children to watch already
Qi Qingqi: abortion. She feels like she's happier as a cool aunt
Wei Qingwei: keeping the baby and having the best time. He's super enthusiastic
Liu Qingge: keeps it because he helped raise his sister and that was easy enough. Discovers it's harder with your own newborn but doesn't really mind. Gives everyone a heart attack when he goes monster hunting with a baby tied to him
Mobei Jun: assuming it's Shang Qinghua he is delighted and keeping it and trying to get knocked up again immediately after the birth of the first one. If it's anyone else immediate abortion
Shang Qinghua: assuming it's Mobei's he actually could go either way depending on when he gets pregnant. But it would be an agonising decision for him. Any other partner he happily aborts
EDIT: I FORGOT LUO BINGHE! CUCUMBER WILL MURDER ME IN MY SLEEP
But also Bingmei is keeping that baby but he's going to have Issues around being a parent. He could do it well but it's gonna be a struggle
Bingge is absorbing the baby and going on with his day
Tianlang-Jun similar to Bingge unless he's horny about it
Zhuzhi Lang lays eggs and then eats them

& remember the first sign of a loser loser loser loser is hating school. Yall should've unfollowed me 2023 this year I'm laying it on you as is.
If you're not in some sort of murder level clas enroll right now. & it has to be so hard it feels like a death sentence
Ladies any form of "escape the matrix" and "you don't need school" & whatever school hating content out there is level down programming meant to keep you stuck and weak. School is the closest imitation to real life you get so dropping a class because it's too hard is your sign to tie yourself to your moms basement and never leave because you sure as heaven not making it in corporate, business, friendships, relationships, and, God Forbid, parenting. You Manifest a future as a stone because that's the most you can do with that mentality. Dropping out because you have anxiety is another great sign to move to the Amazon and cosplay a sloth because if you think there are human interactions in the adult world that won't make you feel anxious ahhh baby my baby. You got it so wrong, baby. If you can't focus in a 30 minute lesson just take your dream board & burn it up burn it upp and try your hand at being a house fly you'll have better luck. If you drop a class because you don't like the teacher stay as far away from romantic relationships and friendships and , especially, corporate & entrepreneurship because girly don't we have news for ya. Can't manage your time? And you want to be a CEO? Are you kidding?
School is the closest imitation to real life you get & the better you are at it the better you are at life, the harder your school life is the better your real life will be. & I mean take biochem engineering & aeronautical engineering first year college, get your ass run over by it BUT learn to sit still, to power through, teamwork, study techniques, etc so no one cares about your A [fun fact most A students don't make it] but did you power through it? K then junior year do the thing you actually like.
Not liking school for whatever reason is loser mentality if you couldn't make it past test drive what makes you think you'll make it on the highway. Back in high-school when I told my grandma I'm giving up on my scholarship because I'm getting bullied and tortured and ostracized her response wasn't a hug it was a slipper grandma of color style because do you think that won't happen in your adulthood? You think you run from a problem and it goes away? Go back in and make it tf. Notice how I'm not focused on what grade you get? My friend works at firm (one of the top of the country) that don't employ people with a history of As , it's not about academic excellence, can you get to cheer practise at 6 am and be in class by 7? What makes you think you can be a mom then? "Independent" can you schedule yourself? Manage classes, sports, hobbies, a part-time job, home chores , friendships, and free time? WHAT DO YOU THINK ADULTHOOD IS ABOUT? what makes you think running from that in school (where you have guidance & forced community) will keep you safe? Out here you're all alone sis. And now the government protects you like a treasure that ID days 18 and its up to you to protect yourself. If you can not sit still in a 30 minutes class you don't like what makes you think you're cut out for corporate? Yall ain't never left your moms house and it shows, no one that has been in the real world has that level of delulu.
Pick the damn calculus class & power from an E to a C- so when you're running your business & you meet hard things you dislike you have muscle memory to power through it & bc your business is something you like it's easier. Go to school with the girls that dislike you & find a way out of that so when your mom in law or officemates are being flaky you know what to do, you don't run. Sit through that class with that one homphobic sexist bigoted teacher so when you land a job at your dream firm you don't resign in six days and sabotage shit because you're delulu enough to think your little tantrum matters.
School , especially boarding school, is the closest imitation to real life you get. Power through it, take advantage of the resources & always chase the hardships now that you have people charged with guiding you so you're not 25 unmotivated with no accomplishment despite your A's , barely functional adult feeling like a loser because you let tiktok & escape the matrix bojo creators lie to you. Do you want to be one of those 35 year olds heavy on magical thinking because you didn't learn what your parents literally paid for you to learn under the guise of 'self care'. Don't be dumb dumb.
Success spills over

Ninjas x reader?
So basically readers dad/mom/wtv is a ex military Sargent who's very overprotective and intimidating. And the ninjas are meeting them for the first time how would they react?
Ooh, I actually like that idea,,, "ex-military parent" is a trope that needs to be used more often tbh
Ninjago - Ninjas When Your Parent is Ex-Military
Cole
He'd be super nervous, but he'd totally ace the first impression
And literally every impression after that
I feel like Cole is just the kind of guy your parents would always love, whether they're strict or laid back, grumpy or cheery—they are going to love him
Maybe it's because he always shows respect
And it's no exception with your parent; if anything, he's extra respectful
Definitely calls them "sir" or "ma'am"
(Honestly he probably does this anyway at first, but he'll do it more consistently with your parent)
Whenever they get all protective over you, he somehow manages to quell their worries without stepping on their toes
Like, if your parent says:
"You know, when we're in public Y/n never leaves my sight."
He'll smile and say:
"That's what I try to do, too. I like to know they're safe."
This technique never fails to satisfy and impress your parent
He seems pretty calm and pleasant when around your parent, and while this is forced at first, it becomes more natural over time
Mostly because your parent starts to relax around him too, easing up on the intimidating glares and snide comments intended as "tests"
Soon enough your parent is actually asking you when you're bringing him home next!
"When are you bringing that Cole boy around again? He's a good kid."
Jay
He is absolutely TERRIFIED to meet your parent when he finds out they're ex-military
He keeps putting off the meeting; little does he know this is making your parent suspicious of him already
You literally have to beg him to meet them, if not for your sake, then for his own
Because you know that the longer he keeps making excuses, the more your parent is going to be biased against him
So when he finally agrees, it's a big relief for you
Not so much for him; he spends every second leading up to the meeting stressing out
What's he gonna wear? What's he gonna say? How should he stand? What if he gets fidgety?
Then it happens: he meets your parent
And he fumbles so hard D:
His bumbling nervousness (which is NOT helped by your parent's intentionally intimidating demeanor) makes him come off as a wuss, which your parent doesn't like
They think Jay can't protect you, which is, like, their #1 requirement for any partner you have
So they totally disapprove of him
That is, until they see him on the news
He somehow failed to mention on your first meeting that he was a ninja; a ninja with powers, no less
So your parent sees him on the news one night, and immediately calls you over
"Is that your boyfriend on the news? Oh my! Did you just see that?? Good gravy!"
"Does this mean you don't hate him now?"
"Hate him? How could I? This kid could take me in a fight! Hell, bring him around again; I've gotta apologize before he comes after me, hah!"
Kai
From what you said about Kai to your parent before they met him, they assumed he was sort of a bad boy
Which they didn't like. At all.
So when they ask you to bring him home, it's almost like a challenge
And that's certainly how Kai sees it; a challenge to prove his worth
So he trains for it
He works out extra hard, practices his smile in the mirror, tests different greetings
It's silly, but you know that he's probably going to need the practice, what with your parent... being like they are
The practice gives him an air of confidence that actually ends up putting your parent off
Everything else was fine; the handshake, calling them "sir/ma'am," asking polite questions...
It was just that smirk, that total lack of nervousness that put a (deeper than usual) scowl on your parent's face
It wasn't that Kai wasn't nervous; he was just hiding it to seem tough
Eventually he starts to break, and his anxiety finally shines through
Your parent realizes that everything he's been doing has been for them, and he wasn't really like that all the time
And then they're just a little impressed; not much, but just enough so that they don't totally hate him
It'll take time for them to warm up to him, and honestly it'll probably take a bit for Kai to warm up to them, too
Your parent will sort of see themselves in Kai: a fiery young person eager for a fight
And from there they'll be besties tbh; they can relate to each other, and they enjoy testing each other's fierceness
Zane
I don't actually think that Zane will be nervous about your parent being ex-military
If he's feeling any anxiety, it's about meeting your parent in general
He doesn't know why them being ex-military would change things; veteran or not, he needs them to like him
But it does give him a hint on how to please them
He spends a lot of time researching the military, trying to come up with topics to discuss
He's also just trying to understand them better
So when you finally meet, he's almost too perfect in the way he conducts himself
He's quite naturally respectful and pleasant, but it's his knowledge about the military that really gets your parent
The questions he asks are so specific that each one makes your parent's brows jump up for half a second in surprise
They're more than happy to answer the question, of course; they're just impressed that he knew to ask
And when he leaves your parent is actually the one asking if he'd like to come over again
Tbh they just want to answer more of his questions
Needless to say, they end up liking him a lot; not as your boyfriend, but as a "nice young man"
It's only after the first meeting that they let the idea that this "nice young man" is your boyfriend set in
The change is visible on their face; they just blink with owlish eyes for a second before clapping you on the shoulder with a grin
"You picked a good one, Y/n! He sure knows his stuff!"
And the more he comes around, the more little details your parent learns to like, from his mannerisms to his personality
They don't even care that he's a robot
He's as human to them as anyone :)
Lloyd
He's pretty scared to meet your parent
His experience with parents was definitely... different
He has no idea what to expect when you tell him that your parent is strict/protective
His parents were about as present in his life as strawberries in an apple pie, so he doesn't really have a sense of what real parenting is like
So just add that to the fact that your parent is like the final boss of seeking parent approval
No matter how much you tell him to just be himself, he's convinced that he needs to act a specific way
He has no idea what that "way" is, but he's certain it exists
Unfortunately he doesn't figure it out by the time he's on your porch knocking on the door
So he's forced to follow your advice
His pleasant, agreeable nature does little to impress your parent
It's not that they don't like him, they just think he's a little... plain
But then they see how he treats you
Lloyd didn't know if showing affection for you was against this obscure idea of "ways to act around parents," but he did it anyway
He was as respectful ever in showing his admiration for you
He called you beautiful and kissed your hand, pulled your chair out for you at the dinner table and everything
He was a total gentleman, as always
This is what got your parent to like him
He wasn't just this plain blonde boy who "fooled" you into dating him; suddenly he was a dazzling gentleman with impeccable manners
This impression might've been a bit exaggerated
I mean, Lloyd is just naturally nice like that; he's not trying to be this "perfect" character
But ultimately that's how your parent sees him, which is better than a bad impression (I guess?)
Nya
She's not scared of your parent
No matter how much they might try to intimidate her, she's unflinching in her demeanor around them
Much like Zane, any anxiety she's feeling is because they're your parent, not because they're ex-military
But I don't think she has any reason to worry
She has a strong personality, with brains, brawn, and that fearless air about her
Your parent is impressed at the way she doesn't even seem to notice their glares
She just keeps smiling her little smile, asking another question to get to know your parent or answering their questions
At first your parent is a little irked by the way they can't seem to get to her, but the more she talks the more they realize that there's a reason behind this
She's a genuine toughie; she's seen enough that she's not scared of much anymore
And that's when your parent decides that they like her
I guess they sort of see themself in her
But they also like the fact that, because she's tough like that, she can protect you
And, just as importantly, she can protect herself
To your parent that means that not only is she going to take care of you, but she's going to take care of herself so that she can always be there for you
So they sort of drop the intimidation tactics
Not all the way, just because that's how they are when it comes to you
Just enough to show Nya that they're warming up to her
And she's totally ecstatic about that!
She knows family is important to you, so to be accepted by your parent is fantastic :D

GRAND FINAL - Fei Du vs Quan Yizhen
Tumblr media
The final match to determine the Ultimate Shixiongfucker is between Fei Du (shixiong: Luo Wenzhou) from Mo Du vs Quan Yizhen (shixiong: Yin Yu) from Heaven Official's Blessing
Propaganda under the cut
Fei Du:
Fei Du: evidence? The entirety of Mo Du. His shixiong is is Luo Wenzhou, a dude with an eight-pack and parents who love him and love fei du as well, and a dude whom fei du is willing to not die/consider the future with, and consider himself not a monster to be with. Fei Du says shixiong to Luo Wenzhou so flirtatiously that they both stop and stare. Luo Wenzhou gets him birthday cake, a video game when he was small and a promise. (Also, they are cat parents)
Tumblr media
If, like me, you go feral over ships where one of them is like this, then vote Fei Du!
#vote for fei du#the man who actually did fuck his shixiong despite all his best efforts to push him away
#vote fei du!!#who actually did fuck his shixiong#fei du died saving lwz
#anyway yeah vote fei du. for the suffering luo wenzhou had to go through when a slutty rich twink began to call him 'shixiong~'
How could I see these tags and not post a greatest hits compilation of Fei Du's "shixiong~~" moments!
Fei Du paused; then some mood caused him to add, “Shixiong.”  Luo Wenzhou: “…”  How could he use such an ordinary tone of voice to speak such an ordinary form of address and yet make it sound so sexual? It was really incomprehensible.
In this small place, where every breath and bowel movement could be heard, Mr. Fei, who was so close to him, didn’t open his mouth when he had something to say; he had to use the office’s WiFi to send him a WeChat message: “Shixiong, can I take you out tonight?”  Luo Wenzhou looked up at him. Fei Du seemed to be focused on the screen of his laptop; if not for the suspicious trace of a smile at the corners of his lips, he would have looked absolutely upright and proper.  The “upright and proper” Mr. Fei moved his fingers, and another WeChat message appeared in front of Luo Wenzhou’s eyes.  He said: “I like your abs.”
Fei Du sighed gently. “Shixiong, I’m going to love you until you can’t escape.”
Seeing that, after going inside with the box of cured meat in one hand and the clanking bicycle under the other arm, Luo Wenzhou still showed no signs of ceasing hostilities, Fei Du, without any warning, suddenly hugged him, kissing him like a surprise attack, this time saying the proper lines. “Shixiong, I was wrong.”  “…” Luo Wenzhou kept his face as stern as possible, but his voice relaxed uncontrollably. “Don’t give me that.”  Fei Du lowered his head slightly, burying his face against his neck. He thought about it, then said, “Can I make it up to you with my body?”
Fei Du laughed quietly, pecking at the most sensitive place at the base of his ear, his other hand untucking Luo Wenzhous shirt. “I just got a scare. Shouldn’t you make it up to me, shixiong? My technique really is very good. Just try it, I guarantee…”
He was so angry he was incoherent, forgetting how to speak.  Fei Du, stunned, blinked his eyes, then took Luo Wenzhou’s hand with the veins standing out on it in both of his hands, brought his palms together, and curved his peach blossom eyes in a roguish manner. “Shixiong, I love you.”  Luo Wenzhou: “…”

additional fei du propaganda: (almost) every time he calls luo wenzhou shixiong
Quan Yizhen:
Obsessed with his shixiong, much to said shixiong's chagrin. Someone who's a proper quanyin shipper can write better propaganda, but I just know he belongs here
Someone who's a proper quanyin shipper can write better propaganda
Well, okay. So Quan Yizhen was originally a street kid that was taken in as a disciple by the sect master at Yin Yu's (the shixiong in question) request because he was impressed by Yizhen's potential. But all the other disciples hated Quan Yizhen's guts due to a mix of his utter inability to read social cues and envy towards his raw talent, only Yin Yu was nice to him which is why Quan Yizhen's obsession with his shixiong took off. Yin Yu is the only person Quan Yizhen cares for.
Eventually his cultivation led Yin Yu to ascend to godhood and he took Quan Yizhen to heaven with him as a deputy god because he knew he couldn't leave him alone. Quan Yizhen doesn't care about prestige, he only cares about martial arts and shixiong, so he asks Yin Yu if they can't go back and if ascension is really that great to which Yin Yu replies to give it a try: Quan Yizhen does and actually ascends as a proper god.
However because Quan Yizhen is so naturally talented he quickly came to eclipse Yin Yu, which he didn't even realize because, again, he has zero social skills. This festered resentment in Yin Yu who eventually exploded and told Quan Yizhen to go kill himself... while Yizhen was wearing a robe that made him follow all fo Yin Yu's commands, so he almost does kill himself. He was stopped and Yin Yu was thrown out of heaven.
But!!! Quan Yizhen doesn't care about any of that! He still wants to meet his shixiong and is sure it was all a misunderstanding. Quan Yizhen actually beats up his own devotees if they trash talk his shixiong, nevermind that as a god his existance is dependant on said devotees. But he doesn't care about that! He only became a god because of shixiong.
When he finally meets his shixiong again, he recognizes him by Yin Yu's mannerism despite Yin Yu wearing a mask. Yin Yu hits him on the head with a shovel and he still doesn't care!! Quan Yizhen still follows his shixiong like a loyal puppy. When later Yin Yu dies trying to protect him Quan Yizhen cries and apologizes for not being able to protect him despite only being good for fighting. Quan Yizhen carries his shixiong's corpse all the way while heaven if falling apart. The last chapter implies Quan Yizhen is trying to nurture Yin Yu's soul to get him back and in the post-canon extras Yin Yu makes a cameo. So Quan Yizhen was succesful!! Death can't take him from his shixiong!
give it to quan yizhen!!!! his whole THING is unconditional love for his shixiong. No matter what Yin Yu does, qyz will love him forever!!
#i will not have my boy who literally calls out SHIXIONG any time he sees yin yu#and desperately chases after him even after everything#lose like this
#yall better give this to quan yizhen#if there's ever a shixiong fucker IT'S HIM
#yes!!!!!!!!#quanyin#he loves him so much!! it’s unconditional!!#vote qyz#tgcf#svsss
#quan yizhen is a real deal shixiongfucker#admit that every time you see his name you're screaming “shixiong!!!!!” reflexively in your head#polls
#qyz propaganda: wdym this guy was ready to kill and be killed for his shixiong#qyz is the most precious#he fights his worshippers if they talk shit about his shixiong#never minds the fact that said shixiong nearly got him killed#THE SUN AND MOON PAIRING#he's the epitome of head empty only shixiong

I have been teetering on the edge of making this post, until a post by @pin3-vin3 (go check them out!!) made me sigh and realise I had to sit down and do this.
I’m putting a nsft warning on this, because I can’t really comment in depth about it omegaverse without at least touching on the sexual aspects. So buckle up.
Alphas
Alphas have higher social status and prestige compared to the other two secondary sexes. Similar to men within the patriarchy, alphas have an easier time getting a job, making liveable wages, and generally have much more respect within medical, law and social service systems. (For example a doctor is more likely to actually listen to and accept what an alpha is saying as a symptom or sickness rather than an omega, more on that later).
Alphas however, have a caveat to this respect. They are respected even more, when part of a pack. (More on packs later). Alphas are respected more when part of a pack because they are then seen as more dependable and successful than an alpha without a pack. An alpha with just one partner is respected more than an alpha without as well. Alpha on alpha relationships are hit and miss, some elitist alphas may see this as settling, others may see it as a strong representation of an alphas ability to accept and care for people they love.
Which brings me to my next point. Alphas and emotion. While alphas are seen as strong and protective, there is nothing inherently wrong within society with an alpha setting that aside to be what someone needs. If they need a strong and aggressive protector, an alpha will be that. An alpha might be firm with their partner, similar to a parent trying to get kids to eat vegetables, but again, that’s based on what the situation requires. If their partner responds better to gentle nurturing, alphas gain a lot of respect and reverence from adapting to that.
Scent wise, I really hate this idea that alpha scents can’t be flowery and sweet. Scents as a whole can range and are similar to a cutie mark or something, they represent the person as a whole, what they’re good at, the things they like, the scent might represent a memory or key ideal. (I.e. smelling like gunpowder and mist might be linked to watching fireworks as a kid). That being said, these scents are accompanied by undertones that alter the general vibe around them, hence the requirement for alphas to have a sense of emotional control.
An aggressive or pissed off alpha, will emit spicy or heated undertones to their scent. An alpha that’s sad will have slightly muggy undertones. An alpha trying to calm their partner may emit soothing scents like chamomile undertones. This is from alphas evolving to serve an omega as a grounding technique, but it extends to alpha on alpha too. (More on why betas are unaffected later.)
Alphas can be affected by omegas scents. A distressed omega lets out the most foul and potent odour known to man. It’s a natural deterrent. Similarly an omega in heat releases a very specific scent that attracts alphas, but not how you’d think. It makes alphas weak in the knees and all they want to do is help. This means, if an omega is aggressively against being knotted for a heat, the Alpha can’t encroach on that unless it’s incredibly necessary (like if the omega is going to die, omegas safety is paramount, similar to like, medically necessary procedures).
Scent glands are located on both sides of the neck, the wrists and the inner thighs. When scenting items, the weakest spot is the wrists, it’s generally just for a temporary mark that lasts about a week or so. The neck lasts much longer and is much stronger, it also has a more affectionate meaning, to mark something with the glands on the neck. The inner thigh is the most intimate, and gifting an item that is marked by the inner thigh is like sending a nude. It’s a very private and intimate scent that you only really see on extremely personal items like particularly important pushes or treasures.
Alphas can growl and have a command tone. This is a tone that alphas can use to convey commands that must be followed. It’s taboo and in the eyes of the court, overly aggressive (not illegal to do, but is similar to a high stakes threat) outside of bond-marked couples (more later). This command tone rings in the back of an omegas mind until it is actioned, it becomes like their own impulsive thought, and it grows stronger the longer it’s resisted. This is most often used within mate-bonded couples to get omegas to eat during their heat (which is often forgotten). But as mentioned before, can be misused and in the eyes of the law, is not illegal, but is not aligned with social morality.
Marks! An alpha can bite down on the neck gland of an omega to attempt a mark. However, this mark is only temporary, and becomes permanent when an omega does it back to the alpha. Only then can the omega actually be able to have that alpha’s pups, and that alpha alone. Marks are shared between pack mates, so yes multiple marks can be made but they myst be entirely mutual. That is, is alpha A and omega B are marked to one another, and they want to introduce Alpha C into their pack, Alpha C must mark and be marked by alpha A and omega B.
Marks that are mutual are permanent and are referred to as Bond Marks. Bond marks create a permanent bond between alphas and omegas that can only be broken on agreement of both parties, and cannot be overwritten. These bonds work at an emotional level. If a bonded marked omega gets upset, the alpha will feel a portion of that sadness. This can also translate medically and is a common part of the diagnostic process when treating bonded pairs.
Alphas have knots, when they get into a rut, knotting is at the forefront of their mind and it becomes something they are going to need. Blood pressure rises, pupils dilate and heart rate speeds up. It’s an adrenaline storm essentially, and it can lead to medical complications if not placated by knotting.
Betas
Unfortunately, in my headcannon, betas are very similar to normal humans. They can reproduce with alphas or omegas as well as each other, they don’t carry scents nor are they affected by them (they can still smell scents, they just don’t really react to them)
However, it’s incredibly common for a pack to consist of an Alpha and Omega pair with a beta third partner. These betas will wear a mark which will need to be renewed. (Because they don’t have scent glands the mark doesn’t take the same way it does for an alpha or omega). These marks are usually symbolic rather than a deep rooted bond as it is with Alphas and Omegas marking each other or others within their secondary sex.
Betas often help alphas and omegas get things done during heats and ruts. Because they’re not affected by the heavy scent of heat and rut, they can still function and get things done around the house. However, say an alpha and omega are having their rut/heat, and the alpha for whatever reason, has to leave for a time. The beta can take over for a time, comforting or using a toy or themselves (depending on the situation) to help the omega feel like they’re being rutted. (However betas don’t have the capacity to knot. So they cannot provide that sensation to an omega)
Betas are incredibly talented at being able to support their partners, and with such a large majority of the population being betas, it’s very easy to find materials and resources that help betas work out how to best support their partners or friends that need help.
Omegas
Omegas are incredibly similar to alphas in many ways, but are different in many too.
Omegas have the lowest amount of social prestige, however notably, they are not treated as *lesser*. Omegas are not considered weak or inferior. They are considered to be better suited to different roles. For example. An omega might go for a job in construction, but be perceived to be better at making coffee. This is not something that is laughed off and is a comment that’s thrown in an omegas face to put them down. It would be more of a gentle suggestion that they should take it easy and not push themselves too much.
Single omegas (un-bonded, un-packed, un-mated) are at higher risk within society, because as is the way of society, there are many who see them as easy or weak targets. So it’s not unlikely that omegas will live within apartment blocks full of omegas or even a few alpha neighbours so their scent is lingering on them when they’re out and about.
Emotionally, omegas are definitely more in touch with their emotions (note: not emotional!!! But in touch, meaning they have a greater understanding of what they feel and when). This can be misconstrued to be that they are more emotional or sensitive but that’s not necessarily true.
Omegas build nests within their homes. This isn’t always a bed, but it can be. It can be on the floor on a futon, or on a couch, sometimes even just in the corner of a room. There are slick-resistant mats you can get for the bottom of the nest, otherwise the nests are mostly constructed with blankets, soft toys, items that are sentimental and important. Omegas nests are sacred spaces, often where an omega retreats during heat. Alphas are expected to present themselves, hands behind their back, chin in the air exposing their neck glands, and receive permission before entering a nest. Not doing so can cause extreme distress for the omega, and can even cause a drop (more later).
Scent wise, of course omegas can smell hardy, Smokey, like a tree. Similar to alphas omegas also emit undertones to their scent that correspond to emotional states. Omegas in high distress emit scents that are repulsive, omegas in heat emit scents that are more attractive. Omegas can emit calming scents that help relax alphas. (This is mostly just the flip side of what alphas can do to omegas which I already went though above.
Omegas do have a need to be marked. When in heat they may beg and plead for a mark. And they may have to fight the instinct to mark an alpha back during these times. In legal cases, the responsibility lies on the Alpha, as they are viewed to be more in control during heats or ruts.
Omegas can purr which calms alphas around them similar to a calming scent. Omegas can also trill, but this is an act that is similar to chastising a child. It’s an easy way of saying stop, or be punished. Alphas do get a twinge to the back of their neck after hearing this sound, like being scruffed.
When an omega senses a rut, one of two things is the most common response. They either go into a pseudo heat, which is similar to their regular heat but instead of lasting a few days, it lasts maybe one day at most, more commonly it lasts about 3 or so hours. The other option is they are like the same sides of a magnet to the rutting alpha, just something in them makes them unable to get too close, and the alpha will usually pick up on a scent of rejection. In some cases neither of these things happen. It’s not considered abnormal or anything to worry about, it’s just rare.
Omegas in heat produce slick, helps alphas out. The slick is produced by a pair of glands in the upper area of the inside canal. Prolonged or overexposure to suppressant medication can cause complications where these glands get blocked or clotted, and it can cause intense pain and discomfort, as well as mental health problems like nest rejection and anxiety.
omegas have muscles that are designed to be pressed against, like pressure points, that can only be pressed on by knots. They line the walls just inside the opening, and require to all be pressed with enough consistent pressure, at the same time. There are aids that help achieve this to relieve the stress for omegas without an alpha or who do not want an alpha.
If on suppressant medication in a way that is not medically appropriate, if encroached on by an alpha without permission, if their nest is invaded, if their mark is damaged and in rare cases, if rejected by an alpha they particularly like, an omega can enter a drop. This can present as fever, hysteria, anxiety, panic attacks, depression and even psychosis. It takes an alpha or a group of well loved and well trusted friends, providing long term (a week at minimum) support to bring an omega out of this, through calming scents, gentle comfort and allowing rest (bringing food, cleaning the house, letting the omega stay in their nest).
Look there’s probably plenty of shit I haven’t said, I’ve been spending all day typing this out. This is just my personal idea of how this works, and like all individual ideas, it’ll probably shift and change over time. But there you go. That’s my thoughts on it, I’m gonna crawl into my nest now.

Have you read Percy Jackson? Of so could you do Straw Hats x 12 year old Daughter of PJO! Zeus? Thank you for your time BTW
I have only read the first book so far, so please forgive me if this isn’t written correctly.
-You had been having fun, wind surfing when a gust gave you a boost that you had easily underestimated, easily taking off with you, pulling you far from shore, farther than you were used to.
-Luckily a ship had seen you catching your big air and when they saw you panicking, they were quick to pull up beside you and you were stunned when Luffy shot his arm down, stretching it like rubber, and fished you and your board out.
-You were a lot younger than they first believed, being a young teenager as Chopper and Nami both scolded you, checking you out for any wounds as you looked a little sheepish, “Thanks for saving me- I wasn’t anticipating getting blown out to sea.”
-Franky just ruffled your hair affectionately, “IT’s okay- you caught some SUPER air out there!!” you beamed, feeling proud of yourself as you stood.
-Robin then spoke, “Do you always wind surf alone?” you shook your head, “No I’ve got others- I’m just the most advanced so I can go out farther. My friends are all on the beach doing their own activities for camp.”
-Luffy looked like a big kid, “Camp? What kind of camp?” you puffed out your chest a little bit, “Demi-god camp! We’re all here to enjoy the fresh sea air!”
-Robin lifted a hand to her lips, a soft hum leaving her, “I think I’ve heard about that. Camp Half Blood, right?” you beamed up at her, nodding, “Yup- we all came here as it’s safer compared to our world, and our parents can still contact us if the need us.”
-As the ship started towards the shore, to drop you off, Zoro spoke up, “Why is your old world more dangerous?” you scratched the back of your head, looking a bit embarrassed, “Not too many like us demi-gods, like other gods who don’t have any kids. Take me for example, Hera hates me because I’m the kid of Zeus, product of yet another affair. Hera’s tried to kill me I want to say… four times now.”
-Eyes were bulged, hearing this, Jinbei knew of the gods, who could travel between worlds, which made sense of why you were able to as well, and he knew of Zeus and his escapades.
-Once back on shore the other members of the camp were excited to meet some actual pirates of this world, ones that wouldn’t attack them, as they were all willing to spend time with you and the other kids.
-Chopper was quite popular with the girls who gushed on how cute he was, while Franky had gotten the attention of most of the boys for being a robot.
-You helped Sanji prepare the massive barbeque, to celebrate new friends between you, your friends, and the Straw Hats, and he taught you some techniques when grilling meat.
-The Straw Hats stayed for a few days, offering to teach the kids new things, like Zoro taught them how to use swords in a more effective way, Robin taught them about history and Nami with geography, and Usopp loved teaching the archery class, finding it fun and easy.
-You were sitting beside Luffy and Brook, swinging your legs back and forth, enjoying seeing all of your friends having so much fun as Brook spoke up, “I got to meet Athena earlier, she’s quite the woman yohoho- she almost attacked me when I asked to see her panties.”
-You winced lightly for him, “Yeah it’s lucky you survived- Athena can be intimidating.” Luffy grinned, wanting to meet your parent and you laughed awkwardly, “Yeah… Zeus has so many kids, he probably doesn’t know I exist. He doesn’t really care about us kids- just getting laid.”
-Luffy leaned his head on top of yours, surprising you as he grinned, “We can always come back when you’re older, you can join my crew!”
-Your eyes were like stars, glittering so brightly, “REALLY?!” you cheered loudly, making Luffy laugh as he promised to come back to get you and you promised to get even better at your wind surfing so you wouldn’t need to be rescued again, making the two of them laugh loudly as you all celebrated the future.

(anime-only friendly post)
I'll have to reread JJK0 to rly have a stance on this but
At this point I feel like Geto did nothing wrong, even if the worm curse was not drugging him like banana fish (explained here).
Geto was misunderstood. He didn't declare that he was planning to kill all non-sorcerers. Gojo said that. Geto called him ignorant for it and walked away for not being listened to. To have a world of sorcerers could take a gradual path by teaching, by finding those like Nanako and Mimiko (one of the guys in their family was in a similar position, I forget his name rn). Geto traveled far for a family of sorcerers and to remove cursed spirits.
I think his parents weren't killed for being non-sorcerers, but for being a part of that cycle of violence toward them. Geto might have given them a second chance, taking the twins to his parents house, when they got violent. We don't know exactly what went down with them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gojo continues to have negative rizz (this analysis contains manga spoilers. Tldr, Gojo misunderstands another lover, potentially) so it feels like a pattern to me.
We've often pointed out that Sukuna's love language would be violence, that using his stronger techniques is a sign of respect toward his opponent.
But I'm realizing now, Gojo is the same way - it shows that a partner can keep up with them. We know that Geto and Gojo used to get into fights at school (and Geto even used his curse manipulation technique without notifying the staff first, like he usually would because of the unregistered cursed energy). Geto said fuck the rules, I'm on your level (by your side).
BUT AT THE KFC, Geto didn't pull out a curse. He didn't fight (for) Gojo - not even when he pulled out the hollow purple hand. Geto just told him to choose his own path, there would be meaning in that. That he's no longer by his side. Geto said there would be a point to killing him, but I think it was to follow the order of his execution, to feed into the oppressive system on jujutsu sorcerers. Geto decided to be the one who diverges from the rules of jujutsu society, to decide that some non-sorcerers have so much power that they are as dangerous as curse users, even if they have no cursed techniques.
Geto had come to terms with the separation - they'd been sent on missions alone too often, and he felt left behind by Gojo's growth (along with how different he was since the fight with Toji - they didn't grow closer from that traumatic event, but became distant from there).
I would love to see someone who's fluent in Japanese break down their conversation - to me it reads like Geto is telling Gojo, I have a family now. I have to look after them. And if my parents were just like the group that killed Riko, or the village that beat up and locked kids in a cage for having abilities... Then it's irresponsible of me to let the cycle of hate continue there, just because they are my parents.
Anyway, Geto killed people. He targeted those in power, those with money, those who exploit the weak for their own greed, those who scapegoat innocent children and criminalize sorcerers for the curses' atracks (when the curses are only born from the non-sorcerers in the first place).
First, the village with Nanako and Mimiko.
Then his own parents (which I'm going to assume were the same way, I have my own headcanon that he left his family early for a monastery and then went to jujutsu high but I'm not rly sure what's up).
And the cult - he specifically calls to the stage and kills the man who hired Toji to kill Riko. And had Shiu gather to that meeting the members in positions of power and money.
There's also the deal with Geto calling non-sorcerers monkeys, which carries a gross and racist feeling (at least through a western lense, I've seen so many jokes about him being racist and planning a genocide, but I don't think that's really accurate). We can say that it was sleep learning from Toji. I think it stuck with him for a very simple reason.
Yuki Tsukumo gave Geto an existential crisis by telling him that curses only exist because of non-sorcerers (except for when a sorcerer dies and becomes the curse). Geto knows what curses taste like. Think about going to the zoo - you can smell the monkey area already, can't you? It's very distinct and memorable. It stays with you. The curses that Geto swallows are like that, but even worse. I posted here about the smell lingering in his sinuses and that's why he uses sanitizing spray after seeing Mrs. Sa(i)to and her daughter.
So just like monkeys live and poop and are associated with the stench, non-sorcerers get emotional and leak cursed energy. Others might see and hear curses, and occasionally they might smell (sorry Eiso I know you're insecure about having a musty back but I can't think of another example, maybe this doesn't happen with cursed spirits), but Geto is alone in knowing the taste and making this connection.
Edit to add: "monkey mind" is a term that refers to struggling with meditation, and I am now convinced that's what Geto is so upset about. A monkey is simply someone who does not control their cursed energy, and contributes to the formation of curses. Since Maki doesn't rly have CE, nor a visible heavenly pact like Toji, Geto is assuming that her cursed energy leaks out just like a non-sorcerer's would.
Anyway, Geto still clearly believes that the strong should protect the weak, whether they're sorcerers or not, that's what he spends his life doing.
And when he died saying that he still hates those monkeys - hate is different than genocide. He's been basically eating their vomit for the majority of his life. Not to mention the curses that killed his friends.
Ultimately, though, we don't get to see anyone Kenjaku uses as a vessel live their own life except for Geto. And I don't believe that the worm would have been necessary for most victims - but Geto and his best friend were 2 of the strongest sorcerers. Whoever Kenjaku was living as at the time had to be calculating and careful.
I don't know when Toji got the worm, but I think that Kenjaku needed to use it on Toji himself, and not only as a mediator to pass it onto Geto.
Idk much about Toji's life, but it seems like he was healing with his wife, and maybe he was still taking out curse users (though I want to use that term lightly bc ultimately it's the higher ups who decide who is a sorcerer vs a curse user), but I'm not sure he would have gone after Gojo or Geto or the star plasma vessel without the sudden grief or the worm.
Kenjaku likely was the founder of the time vessel association (which makes me laugh when Toji says thank you founder and shiu is like, ugh he is not the founder dumbass), which is from the Nara era. At the least we know that he was trying to destabilize Tengen. He needed someone to kill Riko. He needed Toji to lose his sense of reality, responsibility. (kenjaku was probably either in that group or sending them messages that they believed were like a sign from god)
So i feel more confident now in believing that Kenjaku did cause Megumi's mother's death. It seemed to happen by the time of Gojo and Geto's first year in jujutsu high.
In the end, love wasn't the greatest curse of all. It was the failure to understand Geto -
And Geto decided that he didn't need anyone to understand. He was giving up on Gojo, and on the rules.
It seems like Yuki Tsukumo and Geto kept in touch, judging by the end of the Shibuya incident. I wouldn't be surprised if one of their goals was to teach more people to become sorcerers or at least control their cursed energy, even if they can't see spirits.
Even if Geto were now curse user witn a death sentence, he still used his technique to absorb curses, a way to remove them from non-sorcerer victims without the stress or violence of exorcism (he didn't have to keep swallowing curses, instead of manipulating the ones he already had. But most people don't have resistance to curses, so he prioritized making things easier for the weak).
I imagine that some of these people got hyped about it, asking to learn, and were able to join a class that might focus on breathing techniques, visualization, etc (even if they could just control emotions better, that would help}. Larue's ability would make him a good teacher, and we really don't know what role he would have played otherwise.

From October 4: Peeta attempts to make conversation with Katniss
"
After the morphling leaves his system his eyes lose their distant expression, still clouded but not the  distant look of someone who is dead inside.  He begins deep breaths and is alert for any triggers
His eyes look cutting as knives and he is focused on me, it's like when he was glaring at me earlier he says “sorry, I’m not glaring at you, it's just hard to focus with all those triggers sometime, I’m  just nervous when the morphling leaves my system, that’s all” I try to be reassuring “you’ll be fine, I’ve heard  that your trying some episode control techniques” “Yeah, breathing exercises, grounding, cutting myself with kitchen knives, though they hate that one, they say I could injure myself, maybe they're right.”
I recall how Peeta can't feel physical pain anymore due to his hijacking. My eyes open in shock,  I can't bring myself to say anything. He tries to bring up a different topic “Prim says you didn't go hunting yesterday not in the mood?”
I didn't go hunting because I didn't want to see Peeta burning down another forest. I don't get to see Prim often so I ask. “Hows Prim doing?” “She's doing well, your sister is more mature than her age, she had to grow up fast”
“do you see Prim often?” I have a note of worry in my voice
“Sometimes, she is really busy with medic training, she has an option of doing live training in d2 or continuing work in the hospital wing of 13, so she works with patients here”. I am relieved she didn't go to district 2. “She wants to be my friend for some reason, we play chess and stuff, in the den, I  sometimes forget her age”
The den, rage courses through me
“She's not drinking any morphling” I say with an accusatory tone. Peeta reassures me “I wouldn't have been able to believe it myself but people as young as 11 have morphling, they just need to sign a bunch of forums with their parents. I was shocked when she asked about it and begged me to give her a morphling cookie, I refused to give her any.”
“Good, " I say sharply, “she ain't having any morphling!”
“Her mom tells her no as well, I drink, smoke and eat a lot of this stuff and don't think it's a kids thing. By the way, your mom, Evelyn, is worried about you”
I ask Peeta, “why is she worried about me ?”
“she told me, you didn't see her yesterday.”
“She didn't try to find me” I say back I was in the closet watching Johanna and Peeta smoke morphling.
“I remember now you were in the, well he surveys the room. Annie is wrapped around Finnick, tong 1 Is listening to our conversation, Gale is doing push-ups.
He changes the topic again
“So Katniss, do you plan on going hunting today?’
Yes I lie, it's not so much that I want to avoid Peeta, though this rotation feels like walking on broken glass, he is trying to make it easier for me. . But since I can't stand it anymore, I want to continue training to kill Snow and leave this metal prison as soon as possible.
Peeta nods and has a skeptical look on his face.
“Just some advice, it could….”
I hate his pity “no I'm going” I have an angry edge in my voice and something snaps “I don't need your pity!” Peeta quickly apologizes. I want to run off but don't want to hear Tong screaming at me to get back to work again.
“Have you been to the lake at 13?”
“No” I reply honestly trying to sound relaxed
“It's a lot like the lake in d12 from what I can remember, Ash told me it's man made”
I recall Peeta telling Annie about Ash Brown, the guard who recruited Peeta to the morphling cartel.
“It was recently cleared of mutations, except for myself, so I went swimming there. It's cold in the fall but I don't mind.”
I never liked swimming in the fall but the prospect of leaving the Iron prison even for a short time tempts me. Maybe running in the forest and going to the capitol  to kill snow myself. “Where is it?”
“A few miles north near fort Eugene”  Wasn't fort  destroyed?” I ask. “It was but they just finished its reconstruction”
Why do they let Peeta go this far out but keep me on such a tight leash? I think to myself.
“They let you go to fort Eugene?”
“D13 citizens have more privileges then guests, the degree of a citizens  freedom of movement is determined by the postmaster”
Finnick “I'm not a citizen but the postmaster usually treats me the same”
“Oh I'm so dumb I  thought you were there during the hanging tree propo”
Gale after finishing the push ups says “Catnip, I must inform you that D13 won't let me hunt anymore”"
I put my fingers to Peeta’s lips before he can go on about how I won’t get to hunt with my supposed lover.

THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY OPPOSING KAL SKIRATA part 2.
HIS FAMILY FROM THE PAST - Continuation
I've got a couple of response from @mysticaltora8276 and I decided that Ilippi's and Kal's relationship deserves another round to talk about because that's what the original post was about.
What you will find here now: - Dissecting Kal's and Ilippi's relationship even more but now with quotes from the books. - Me confirming the existing misogyny integrated into Karen Traviss' mando lore (I never doubted. I just wanted to find my own answers in this debate instead of choosing existing sides). - No. I still don't hate Kal. You can still love a character while not agreeing with their actions.
More under the cut.
Tumblr media
One of my interesting observation about the antis and "critical thinkers" that while they think they are protecting the women of Repcomm with claw and blood, they are the ones who write them off as "cardboard characters with no soul and own will".
Starting from Ilippy. I thought I emphasised enough how badass was for her to divorce from Kal when she felt she can't adjust to this lifestyle, and wanted to protect her children from the warrior's life.
And it suddenly clicked.
Holy shit, it's 2024. Divorcing from your husband is not a big deal anymore!!!! CAN YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE THIS??? O_____O
(this wasn't a sarcasm.)
Today, divorcing from your husband when you are abused, or neglected, you fear for your children, or bored or you realize after years of marriage that you just don't click is totally a normal thing today and doesn't come with social stigma anymore (in better places). You can even get an official distancing-order.
But people often forget that it wasn't always like this. And remember when these books were written. Hard Contact came out in 2004.
I can't talk about other countries, only the post-soviet ones, but in the 80's-90's, it was still considered shameful for women to initiate divorce from their husband, no matter whether she was treated bad, the whole neighbourhood knew she was treated bad, relatives very much aware that the wife was treated bad. They blamed women for not putting up the whims of the husband. Blamed by women and men as well.
Hungarian poetry is actually full of ballads, how the wives were forced to kill their husbands to save themselves from abusive relationships or forced marriage because divorce wasn't an option: it was, but then you were shamed by your whole community. Shamed by women and men as well.
One of the other thing, that really changed is the time when you get married. Today is also considered normal to marry and have a kid at age 30+, while couples of from my parents generation usually married at age 18-19. And Kal and Ilippi also married rather young, which is also the part of Karen Traviss's mandalorian culture, but can be a mirror about old generational couples of real life.
I looked up the definition of misogyny (my own experience is one thing but I'm not going to traumadump here):
Misogyny (/mɪˈsɒdʒɪni/) is hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against women or girls. It is a form of sexism that can keep women at a lower social status than men, thus maintaining the social roles of patriarchy. An example of misogyny is violence against women, which includes domestic violence and, in its most extreme forms, misogynist terrorism and femicide. Misogyny also often operates through sexual harassment, coercion, and psychological techniques aimed at controlling women, and by legally or socially excluding women from full citizenship. In some cases, misogyny rewards women for accepting an inferior status. (From wikipedia)
In this definition, IN OUR HUMAN EARTHLING STANDARDS keeping Ilippi in lower social status as a wife in a secluded place where she was expected to raise their children and wait for her husband without any other option (they lived in the middle of nowhere, no neighbours, no cities around for her to spend time or work or getting friends), yes, it is misogyny.
Only Ilippi had options: embracing the mandalorian culture and became a warriorwife, asking Kal to teach her, maybe joining him later.
ASSUMPTION HERE: I don't think Kal really knew how to handle a non-mando girl. I don't think they really talked about their future as a mando couple. Ilippi worked as a waitress and probably at that time it was a good idea to be a wife of a mercenary. Two young people met, fell in love, and later they realized, their expectations hadn't met. I don't think Ilippi was really interested becoming a fighterwife just as Kal wasn't interested leaving the mercenary life and his own culture behind. But also: here is the confimation of mando couples marrying young from Order 66. But also that Ilippi first found Kal and his profession attractive in her eyes.
Tumblr media
Their serious arguments started when the possibility came up that Kal wanted to bring the children along with him.
This is a snippet from True Colors when they talk about the responsibilties of a mandowife.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ordo is making a (rather sexist) joke, so how reilable this information can be is very much debatable. If he says it's nothing hard for a jedi, than it is probably very hard and tiresome for a civilian like Ilippi.
SPECULATION: I can imagine that sometimes Mandowife gets up, now it's her turn to go out and make some money and the husband stays home with the children. -> But because the conversation above it can be interpreted many ways, it's hard to say what exactly was their duty.
Before you kill me for using mandowife here mandoWIFE there instead of riduur...
One of my problem with Karen Traviss' Mandalorian lore, that the whole culture and social expectations were supposed to be completely gender neutral. Can you handle yourself as a warrior? You are a mando. That's it. But here, there are inbuilt gender expectations and roles. -> By the definition of the misogyny above, this is one, because mandalorian women are still bound by the stereotypes of the patriarchal role of a women in a heteronormative family.
Ok, back to Ilippi.
Now this is the first scene Ilippi first mentioned in Triple Zero. I fail to see how she was treated bad by the narrative or Kal or Jango.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ilippi decided this life is not for her. Ilippi didn't wanted the mandalorian life for her and for their children. She didn't want to assimiliate. She realized these people are wackos and she has to get out as soon as possible before Kal really take their children to war. And she did.
This is how their divorce went (Order 66)
Tumblr media
Ilippi was never deprived from choices. She literally took the kids when Kal was away and Kal returned to an empty home. If she was really held in lower social status, and her rights and feelings weren't respected at all, Kal could have go and forced her to come back without her consent. Or simply do honor-killing like many cultures and religions do in real life where misogyny isn't just making sexist jokes (like the Ordo conversation), but the whole family will actually hunt you down for leaving your husband.
Kal respected this choice. Does he deserve a praise for it? Probably not. This is how it should be: respecting others.
But also this confirms that Kal never stopped supporting financially his family.
And lastly I wanted to add this one because I really loved this conversation:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kamino was the point were Kal actually cut himself from his family entirely. Not before. Kal had a chance to reconnect with his biological children when he got the news from Jango (though it's debatable, my speculation is that Kal would have been killed if he had left Kamino before the contract's end). He choose the Nulls and the commandos under his care.
But this is also interesting that in the Mando culture when your wife is divorcing from you, you, the husband are to blame: a switched-mirror to the formerly mentioned real life example of how divorcing from your husband is shameful as a woman. If you fail as a parent, as a husband, you fail as a human being.
ABOUT THE CHILD SOLDIER DEBATE: if you need the author to spoonfeed you with the narrative that explicitly condems the existence of childsoldiers, the problem is not with the media, the problem is with you.
IN CONCLUSION: Ilippy is still a fucking badass. Kal loved his family. Kal respected Ilippy and her choice. Real life misogyny integrated into the mando culture spotted which is - obviously - affected Kal too.
Tumblr media
HOOOOooooooOOOooOoooOoly shit, that was a ride. Because I partially touched to topic about his sons, I think my next post will be about Tor, Ijaat and Ruusaan.
If you actually read through all this blurb, in one hand KUDOS TO YOU, on the other hand, you can expect something like this from me when I actually start to my blogging about the books.

CHAPTER SEVEN - TOJI
⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀✧ summary page
Tumblr media
Within the next few minutes, I’ll be dead. I knew this the moment I saw that blue-eyed freak reappear after when I thought I killed him. Fucking sorcerers and their cursed technique bullshit. Maybe I was too confident thinking I would win the second time. I doubted myself at first, but then I calmed down… No.
 I was just too confident.
A world like this wasn’t meant for a monkey like me. I was born into a fucked up family that treated me like shit because I didn’t have any cursed technique. The scar on my lip reminds me of it every day. I got over it, though. I accepted this was my faith. I served my purpose, and it was time for me to go.
Still, I can’t help but wish I made it out alive. That I had a little bit more time.
 “Nah,” I replied, vaguely.
How am I supposed to answer some cliché question like that?
 Any last words?
Why would I tell him that?
Tell him about the thoughts and images that’s in my head.
Tell him that I had a wife who I actually saw some good in me. Good enough to get pregnant and raise a kid together. Tch, me? Toji Fushiguro? A husband and father? I never thought I would live to see the day. And of course, it didn’t last long.
My wife died because of an incurable sickness. I never felt pain before. Not when I’m standing here with half my body blown off. Not when my family tortured me. But the day she died, I felt pain. I didn’t cry. I just felt empty. Felt like I had no reason to be decent anymore. How was I supposed to raise a kid by myself?
She told me I was going to be okay.
 I wasn’t okay.
 I’m a fucked a person.
 A fucked up father.
. . . I was never made to be a fucking dad. Me selling my son to my family is better than what I could’ve done for him. It wouldn’t make any difference if I was or was not in his life because I would never be good enough to be a father. . . A person. . . But I met. . . Her.
In my final moments, I think of my late wife, my son, and—
“Dad!” Megumi’s deafening voice wakes me up. “It’s almost five. We have to go to the store.”
  What the…
 What the fuck was that?
Lately my mind has been clogged with thoughts and what feels like memories I used to have. Could never decipher them, but that dream was probably the clearest I had.
Me being on the verge of death (wouldn’t be the first time), apparently being killed by some blue-eyed fuck. Giving Megumi away to the Zen’in Family? Like fucking hell. I would endure the shit they put me through every day for the rest of my life knowing it would keep my kid safe. I just don’t understand these dreams I’ve been having.
Are they signs? Is my judgment day coming where I would have to atone to my sins? Some bad shit about to happen to me? Megumi? I don’t fucking know.
I don’t care for karma. I don’t care for faith, destiny, or any of that manifestation bullshit. But I do believe in purpose, and sometimes I feel like I don’t have any. That there isn’t any.
I’m a dad. For what? To fail my son. I was a husband, had my flaws but shit, I tried. And for what? To lose her only after being parents together for eight years? It was unexpected. Nature calling, and at the moment, I never hated whatever fucking god above so much because they took her away from me.
 From me and Megumi.
 Please take care of Megumi.
It’s like I can hear her lecturing me about all the times I had our kid eating take out or having him walk home alone from school.
Take care of Megumi. . . Yeah, I’m trying.
 I have to do better.
 I need to.
The little purpose I have is left for him.
“If you can’t go anymore, can you at least give me the money so I can go by my-”
“No,” I interrupted, clearing my throat. “No, let’s go. Sorry, kid. Your old man was dozing off.”
Tumblr media
Here’s another thing about being a parent. Being around other parents who force small talk while their kids go off and buy shit. Because we’re parents, that means we have to share funny stories and randomly show baby photos to people you don’t even fucking know. Why? I don’t know, but I bet the mom next to me that has been talking my ears out for the past fifteen minutes could tell you.
Having Megumi as my kid means he’s going to have most, if not some, of my traits. One of them being how much of a loner I am that appreciates his space. After my failed attempt to walk around with the kid to maybe have some father-son bonding, I figured I just stand at a comfortable distance and let him do his own thing.
No pressure. I’m on his time. Not the other way around.
Still, me standing alone was not a fucking invitation to talk to me.
I respect women. I do, but I’m two seconds away from telling her to fuck off in the nicest way possible.
Though, I have a reason why she approached me to begin with.
How she’s invading my space, trying her hardest for me to look at her tits. The extra pout she gives her lips while talking to me. How she’s still asking me one off questions, despite my vague one word answers.
She’s looking to get fucked, but she’s just too shy to say it.
Attractive for most part. Probably five-foot-ten, maybe in her late thirties. Strong perfume. Hair drops right below her jaw.
 Hm, not my type.
 “So, here’s another photo-”
“Sorry, why are you showing me these again?” I abruptly asked.
“I—” she stumbles over her words, pushing her hair back while giving me a timid smile.
“Seems like you had other reasons.”
 “Like?”
I shrug. “To get fucked.” I can tell that my brute honesty throws her off a bit, but she gathers herself.
 “Are you offering?”
 “No.”
She’s probably taken back by my response. I wouldn’t know because I casually walked away to the next aisle.
Back in Tokyo, I gained attention, but in America? The women here look at me like I’m a fucking piece of meat. Not that I don’t mind, but shit.
What would help if they didn’t waste both our time with trivial chit chat and just cut straight to the chase.
 Anyways.
Told the kid I’ll be walking around the store if he needs me, and of course he replies with whatever . Like I should be surprised.
 He’s my son, after all.
Pretty packed for a Tuesday night at the store. Guess all the parents are out buying their kids shit, too. While Megumi is getting his supplies together, figured I could go to the meat section to make dinner tonight. Probably hot pot for the kid and offal for me.
Sometimes I wonder if I’m doing this parenting shit right. You know, letting Megumi be by himself to buy things while I roam around. Probably not because I see families throughout the store and they look happy, for the most part.
The look on their faces, the light conversations they’re having about who knows what. . . I can tell this is going to be one of those fucking nights for me.
Remember there was a point in my life where I was content with the small family I created. My wife. Megumi. Living in the shittiest apartment building back in Tokyo and barely making ends meet.
I came from a wealthy family. One of the wealthiest in Japan. I was supposed to be a silver spooned brat that was grateful to be born into money, only later to be beaten and emotionally abused, which eventually left me in the streets.
And you know after all the shit those Zen’in fucks put me through regardless of the amount of money I had access to, I’d always choose what I had with my wife and my strained relationship with Megumi.
But of course, any good that happens to me is only temporary. Can only imagine how long I have left with Megumi until he turns eighteen and moves far away from me if he decides to go to college.
Is it wrong for me to wish my kid would cut me some slack? Probably, but that’s not something I would ever ask him. Though, I can fucking admit that it stings how he addresses me has changed over time.
Daddy to Papa, now to Dad. Soon he’ll start being formal and shit by calling me father or even my first name. I guess I should be grateful he’s calling me anything at all.
Damn, if I liked alcohol, I would’ve said I need a drink right now. Maybe a few. Being in family settings makes me feel the emotion I hate feeling the most. Vulnerability .
It makes me feel weak, like I’m pitying myself. I don’t care for pity. I don't care to say I didn’t deserve to experience trauma. It happened. There’s shit I can do about it. No point for me to keep thinking about it.
It’s just hard when your son doesn’t even want to be seen with you in public to go school supply shopping.
I need to clear my head.
Already worked out twice today, and clearly that’s not working. Maybe some pussy. It’s been a while since I last had sex. Maybe I need…
 Y/N .
Here I am again thinking about her at the most random fucking times. I said I need her. Would I ever tell her that?  Most likely not.
How can I tell a woman that I don’t know that I need her? To be around her and have her bubbly personality overshadow my grumpiness. To stare at her in dead silence and think how fucking pretty she is. How good she smells. How can I tell Y/N that?
 She’s good company.
 That’s all she is…
Soon she’ll see I’m no good.
Tumblr media
“Miss L /N told me you’ve been doing good in class, kid.”
Been home with Megumi for about two hours now. School shopping is not fucking cheap, to say the least. My job pays well, but the cost of shit in America is still something I’m trying to adjust to, especially in comparison to Japan.
Megumi is the only reason why I haven’t gotten broke yet.
 “Yeah,” he responds flatly.
I stuff my mouth with a piece of meat. “Want to talk about it?”
 “Not really.”
 “Alright.”
 There goes that loud silence.
I continue, trying to keep conversation. “Food's good?” He nods. “Think you got everything you needed for school?”
“Yes, Dad.” Annoyance fills his voice, making it very clear that I’m bothering him.
 “Everything’s okay?” I asked.
“Can’t we just eat in silence? Why are you forcing conversation?”
 Oh.
 “Sorry, kid. Just trying-”
Megumi pushes back his chair, standing up with his plate in his hand. “I’m going to my room. Thanks for dinner.”
What the fuck am I doing wrong?
I talk, he’s annoyed with me. I don’t talk, I feel like he’s being neglected again. Not sure if I’m giving Megumi too much space or just enough space, but it’s kind of fucking hard when I don’t how he feels.
When you come from an abusive family that doesn't know how to give or receive love, it passes onto you and potentially it’ll pass onto your child.
That’s what I’m trying to prevent.
I was scared as shit when my wife first told me she was pregnant. I mean, how the fuck was I supposed to be a dad? I don't know what it feels like to have one. But I knew I was going to be okay if I had her by my side.
  I’m a fucked up person. . . A fucked up father.
“Fuck, I need to take a walk,” I say to myself.
I get up to put the leftovers in the oven so I can finish later. Before I walk out the door, I tell Megumi I’m stepping out for a while and guess what he says?
 Whatever.
  Patience, Fushiguro. Patience.
Be kind to yourself, Toji . That’s what Y/N told me the other day. I have messaged or contacted her at all since I got her number yesterday. Maybe I need to talk to her… see her… just for a little bit.

discussion question #3 — the more we see toji and megumi's relationship, struggles are shown between them. more so, on toji's part. do you think he should continue making small talk or allow megumi to come around whenever he's ready? looks like toji is afraid to let that happen because he doesn't want megumi to feel neglected. thoughts?

Parenting Oneshot
Gojo x OC
Megumi x OC
[Megumi gets caught with his girlfriend. Gojo has a conversation with him and his girlfriend's mentor.]
"I can't believe I'm saying this to you of all people, Fushiguro," Gojo said, rubbing the back of his head, "But you can't make out with your girlfriend in the library."
Megumi's face was bright red. Were it not for his glowing beet red face and slightly disheveled clothes, he would have come off as innocent. It was unusually uncharacteristic of the fifteen year old- Gojo had noticed he'd been more outgoing than normal, but he had never expected to have the boy sitting in front of his desk for such a violation of school rules.
In fact, Gojo had fully expected to have this conversation with Yuji or Nobara, at the very least.
"She's not my girlfriend," Megumi huffed, looking down his hands.
"Whatever you kids are calling it these days," Gojo said dismissively.
"We weren't doing anything-"
"-Yet. Look, I know it's easy to get swept away in how things feel..."
Megumi groaned, rubbing his face with his hands, "Please stop talking."
"Just don't do it again. Be smart. Be safe. Think it through next time," Gojo finished.
Megumi watched him suspiciously. "...That's it?"
"That's it," Gojo said simply. He tilted his head thoughtfully and added, "I thought you and Daiki were together."
The dark haired teen looked away again. He seemed hesitant at first, pursing his lips as if deciding if he should tell his mentor. Finally, he said, "Tsukiyomi doesn't want her to date anyone."
Oh? Gojo frowned. "I'll talk to her."
Megumi sat up, trying to keep his face neutral. "You will?"
Gojo nodded. "Go on. I'll meet up with you and the others for dinner later."
"...Thank you, Gojo," he said softly.
As Megumi opened and closed the door, Gojo could hear Nobara's and Yuji's muffled laughter from the other side. Megumi made some vague threat to both of them that was just low enough to escape his mentor's ears.
The Six Eyes Sorcerer thought back to his student's statement on his way to the library. Tsukiyomi doesn't want her to date anyone. Megumi's face had tightened when he said that, eyebrows furrowing in frustration. He could only imagine what Daiki was going through, wanting to be with Megumi and yet pulled away by her teacher.
The librarian was dusting off a bookshelf when he found her. Every time he saw her, she looked more beautiful than the last. Her blouse was stark white in the dimly lit library, long flowing skirt the same navy as their uniforms. She had cut her black hair recently. Green eyes glanced over at him as he leaned against the bookshelf opposite of her.
"I talked with Daiki," she said, reaching up to dust the top shelf. She wasn't tall enough to reach it. "We shouldn't have to worry anymore-"
"You told her not to date?" Gojo asked.
Miho looked at him as if he were dumb. "Of course."
"Why?"
"Because," Miho glanced around. "You know why."
"Explain to me again," Gojo said, reaching up over her to grab the duster. He dusted the top shelf and leaned his elbow over her head, effectively pressing her against the bookshelf.
Miho looked around nervously. "Satoru, someone will see-"
"So? We're adults. The higher ups can't tell us what to do," Gojo said, leaning forward to kiss the side of her mouth.
Miho leaned away. "Exactly. We're adults. They are not."
"Speak plainly, Miho."
"I don't want them to force anything onto Daiki and Megumi. If they see she has any interest in anyone, especially someone as strong as him, they'll force her to-" she cut herself short, looking away from him. "Take off your blindfold, please. I hate talking to you with it on."
There it was. He had suspected as much. Gojo removed his blindfold and tucked it into his pocket, watching her with crystal blue eyes that sparkled in the low light.
Daiki was the first person he had found who could use the same technique as Miho, the Simple Seal. Seeing as how both Daiki's parents were deceased and her file had only minimal information, it was safe to say her parents were either noncurse users or at the very least normal people, just like Miho's. The only connection was the way in which they had both developed their technique- sealing a curse under immense mental pressure.
Simple Sealing wasn't hereditary. Not that the higher ups would be satisfied with that. If they could force a new clan, they would.
Every aspect of Miho's life had been controlled by the higher ups. Even her teenaged relationships. Had...certain things...not happened when they did, both he and Miho would have been forced into a marriage as early as seventeen.
"I don't want Daiki to end up like me," she said softly.
"And I don't want Megumi to regret not fighting harder for someone he loves. I know I do."
That made her face harden. Miho broke away from him to walk over to her desk. She began sorting the books piled all around the surface. He could see the tension in her shoulders.
"They're teens. They don't know what 'love' is."
He would regret bringing it up. But he did anyway.
"We did."
Miho's hands on the books stilled. Despite secretly being together for years, they hadn't spoke much of her relationship with...
"...That's different," she said.
He followed her to the desk, gently resting his hand on hers.
"The only difference here is that we didn't have adults protecting us," Gojo said gently, reaching up to touch the side of her face. Miho relented, letting him pull her closer. "As long as we're here, they should be allowed to be teenagers."
It was rare for him to be so serious, even with her, but this was just a simple thing. Just kids dating. You aren't supposed to date seriously when you're fifteen.
"Let them be kids, Miho."
Miho sighed heavily. He was winning her over. Especially without the blindfold. She hated when he wore it, but he knew she was putty in his hand when he took it off. Finally, she nodded, reaching up to press his hand against her mouth in a quick kiss.
"Fine. But if anything happens-"
"- I'll take care of it. You're the best." Gojo smiled at her and kissed her quickly before walking past her desk. "Meet us for dinner tonight?"
Miho's frown warmed into a small smile. "Yeah, just text me where."

Fuck it. Since I'm being spat on and tarnished by jc antis I'm unashamedly doing call out posts as they have harassed me on all my posts and got their little friends to gang up on me. Starting with this "lovely" person
Tumblr media
Calling me an abuse apologist just because I said that madame yu had tough love methods..... I was in no way excusing her abuse towards wwx with that FYI. Wwx wasnt even mentioned in the og post.... Never once denied she was abusive in the post either (in fact i ackowledged her abuse numerous times in the post and how her children act around her. But apparently you willfully missed that part). I said she had tough love methods towards her children. NOT WWX. Wwx was not her child or have you forgotten that? She has a tough love attitude in the sense that she toughens up her kids, expects no nonsense, wants them to strive to do better, get on with it, stiff upper lip attitude etc. This does not mean it's a good parenting tactic.
---
Using tough love to describe her parenting technique isn't a compliment. Apparently some of you don't know what it means because tough love, whilst there is love and good intentions behind the actions, it can also have unintended bad consequences on your children and is not a form of love you should expose your child to if you want them to become normal, emotionally stable people.
---
It can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms and suppressing emotions amongst other things I won't go into. I was in no way complimenting her. It was a critique. That should have been obvious. But in your words, ig some of you don't have reading comprehension.

To accuse me of something so extreme as excusing abuse over a FICTIONAL CHARACTER and trying to get all your friends to agree and jump on my posts because I never explicitly made the above points obvious is what a bully would do. You know nothing about me and decided to make such allegations over a single post. I will not stand for this bullying.
---
YOU should be ashamed of your behavior. I've seen your other posts and how you talk about and to REAL PEOPLE.
---
You acting all morally superior whilst attacking me and many others like this makes you an abusive person FYI. And I won't sit there and take it from you or your friends.

Moving on to specimen number two
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This person has been spamming my notifications jumping on EVERY post, being disrespectful and pretty much accusing me, an ace person, for being ignorant about MY OWN IDENTITY and using ace stereotypes just because I surmised that jc could be ace due to his lack of interest in romance.
---
Echoing the words used by another user in the thread, but denying that such ace persons exist is acephobic in itself. I'm an ace person who isnt interested in relationships outside anything that is close, platonic but meaningful. Many others in the jc fandom say the same thing which is why they see themselves in him. A large portion of the jc fandom are actually ace in fact and we love to see him used in ace rep posts. We're already made to feel like freaks, so to have that thrown in my face is very hurtful. Above all twisting my words and making out I said every ace person hates romance is very disingenuous. I NEVER once said that in the post. I wont have my character attacked and lied about like that.
---
Also, once again TWISTING my words, implying I was pissed off about the incel claims when it was so obvious that I was merely asking out of curiosity where these claims come from?? Because it was never implied in the canon text. There was no anger or malice behind my questions. It was all open discussion. I can see now that this was mental gymnastics at play here to justify your hcs that you know are not canon and use it as an excuse to attack my posts with your friends, all because you were proven wrong. You lashed out on what was an otherwise polite discussion. That behavior is all entirely on you.
---
Ive only ever been respectful in my posts and they were never done to provoke arguments or hate on others opinions. So to wake up and be accused of all sorts over a fictional character is very hurtful and just shows how terribly low your side of the fandom has to stoop just to prove a point and hate on jc.
---
Im not tolerating it and these blatant LIES any longer. I hope other jc antis read these posts and see how nasty you all are. And if anyone thinks this sort of treatment is okay, then you need to look inwardly and step away from the computer. I'm done here.

Psst! Re: the Ulder and Wyll discussion, if the thing you saw is what I suspect then the same person was telling me just the other day how actually in some situations Halsin will kill/condone the killing of children and how they think that makes him a deeper and more consistent character. So this is possibly me being mean but I WONDER if it's really about their passionate concern for the well-being of fictional kids, or if it's more "I want Wyll to be MORE TRAUMATIZED"/"I want Ulder to be a completely shitty father instead of a loving one with flaws".
I mean if you want I can send you the screenshot of the post via a dm lol.
tbh it's probably not about the wellfare of fictional children, cuz that does sound a lot like a hypocrite. All the characters are okay with killing kids (the goblin children).
I mean I get wanting to project, but it feels like people are trying to make Ulder out to be the worst character in existence/try to make Wyll a sadder and "deeper" character than he already is by giving him an abuse story (he totally is being abused just not by Ulder but by Mizora).
I mean I get it, I hated Ulder too at the beginning before I started thinking about it (and also before I got to act 3).
I don't think people understand that some relationships aren't just black and white, the realtionship Wyll and Ulder have reminds me a lot of the relationship I have with my father, it's strained, yes, but I still love my dad and my dad loves me...i think. I will forever be screaming into the void that Ulder might have had some shit parenting techniques but he sure as hell loves his son.
like obviously Ulder did some shit right raising Wyll cuz LOOK AT HIM!!!! Out of all of the Origin companions Wyll is emotionally the most mature, for me that's a sign he was somewhat raised right.
also in other words Wyll is my blorbo and I want him to be happy and have a healthy home life because I love him so much.

finally going to put my renga, liguang, and ten thoughts in one cohesive post so everyone can get a sneak peak at the inside of my brain. spoilers for all of their light novels + sun will r1ze. it'll be better if you've read them in advance anyway so you know what i'm talking about.
so the first thing i'm going to talk about is ten. is he a clone? is he getting his memory wiped after every fuck up and starting over? well. i think he's a clone, personally, given that it seems his name is meant to represent the literal number 10 according to his light novel at least (the translation i was using used tenth a few times in reference to him which is what's making me think this). i think there might be previous "ten"s that we don't know about that are no longer around for whatever reason, and the original is...somewhere. i don't know where he would be or why they were cloning him in particular but i dont think the one we know working for hama tours is the original person. so what does this have to do with renga and liguang?
well lets start with renga. we know the renga that works for hama tours (ren) looks *exactly* like the original renga (kiba) and it seems he doesn't have any memories of parents or any sort of adult who would take care of him at all, even on the streets i'd assume his parents, unless they straight up died when he was too young to remember, would have tried to take care of him in some ways. so i think ren might be a failed clone of kiba, abandoned in the streets because well its a real human kid but doesnt have the constitution or personality indicators that they need for kiba to create an actual true clone. and kiba, in liguang's light novel, is shown to be like 5 steps ahead of liguang in their eternal game of cat and mouse and i would not put it past kiba to have had someone orchestrate the creation of a clone of him. i mean hell, if ren doesn't have any memories prior to like 7 or 8 we could even theorize he was cloned as a fully formed child and by age 11 kiba was absolutely formulating his plan to get rid of liguang again, so like... it's totally possible. i think what happened is that ren was a failure but the nishizono family does not have the resources to like. keep cloning people (they're already kinda barely holding onto what they do have) so kiba had to use what he had which was this failed clone, but at some point actually did start to care for him? i dont think at least from what we have right now, that kiba hates ren or sees him entirely as a means to an end. there is something there i just don't know what.
and finally, liguang. this is probably the most straightforward part of this whole thing i dont think liguang is a clone or anything just trapped in an eternal battle with kiba and keeps losing everything to him. but he did hire ten to spy on renga and i think ten, being not stupid, might have picked up on the fact that renga is a clone (if this theory is like. correct and not me pulling things out of my ass) and i do wonder if ten has any other knowledge about clones or cloning techniques... or if ren is known at all within those circles as a failure and ten wants to know what his deal is and how he's managed to get this far. i do not think ten is entirely removed emotionally from his mission assigned by liguang. he's reporting what needs to be reported but i think he might be trying to dig deeper for his own personal reasons.
well anyway this game is supposed to be about tourism. i have more thoughts about everyone individually outside of this like. cloning dynamic thing. but i wanted to put this out there since everyone on discord said it makes sense and so now my insane conspiracy board about them is free for you to do with what you wish.
