hey y'all, I was watching one of Karn EX's videos the other week and went to test out the Digimon Fusion Generator for kicks, and ended up with some real nice scrunglies that I felt compelled to draw lmao... the last time I drew anything was this time last year actually, but I'm glad to see that I'm not as rusty as I thought-- although I still don't really draw anymore, it was nice to get creative and do something that's fun and familiar (and not terribly difficult, since I was only riffing these DS sprites as a base to save on time)

I initially meant to just do flat colours, but as with anything else I do, I start adding some quick lumi highlights and shines to a few sections and suddenly before I know it I've basically just mapped out rough shading for the damn things, so they were a lot more effort than I meant to put in!

can you guess which Digimon they're a cross between? from left to right, we have these wonderful scrunglies on offer today:

Phoedramon (although the Digikana reads Houdramon because I'm sick rn and went with the easier-to-find-on-my-keyboard option a-ahaha /retreats back into my cave to die in peace)

And finally its Part 3 of a series of gifts for @zenmai--jikake--no--komoriuta . This is the last of her main 3 original Digimon, Ligermon. I tried out cell shading on the body since that is something I'm still unfamiliar with. The pose was fun to do and the blackdamp pads on his body were interesting to shade. I hope you like what I did with him.

Part 2 of a series of gifts for @zenmai--jikake--no--komoriuta. This time its another of their original Digimon named Strixmon. I tried out a new shading style I recently learned how to do and am very happy with how it turned out. Now I gotta go back and redo Lindmon so that I can bring him up to the standards I set for Strixmon. I hope you like what I did with your girl!

hey! it's me, back again with a new piece of art after, what... 3-4 years at this point? time really flies when you're buried under uni homework huh,,,, ,,

like I said in my WIP post, the sister of one of my friends asked to do a Kagepro-themed art trade, where we each drew eachother's favourite characters, using our favourite PVs as inspiration for theme/background/clothes/etc. she’s drawing Shintaro + Yobanashi Deceive for me, and I Kano + Lost Time Memory for her!

because Kano ended up having to take on Ayano's appearance for a while during the light novel route, I thought it wouldn't be too out-of-place to have him taking her place in the final scene of LTM as well, but appearing as himself to the viewer ((because it would be kind of a dick move to draw him disguised as Ayano and have his real self reflected instead, even if it makes more sense lore-wise, given that's not who I was supposed to be drawing, a-ahaha)). I thought using the key scene of the PV was a good idea at the start, but now I kind of wish I had gone with the blue-tinged Route XX side of things that is more representative of the song... I guess, if I ever get the chance to draw something from LTM again, I know what I'll be aiming for! Kano in the black Route XX hoodie is rather cute actually, why didn't I draw that /shot
