SEE IT'S LIKE…. in my head... Hatori is soo confident and "knowledgeable" when it comes to computers and tech and everything like that because of his powers but he turns into a bumbling idiot around people… and then Touichirou has the double edge of being both the most powerful computer in the world = Hatori HAS to do something with him, but also being a very powerful, dominant human man at the same time... and Touichirou obviously sees all of his subordinates as simply tools and reserves of psychic power but I think he's also willing to set that aside at times to leverage human connections and networking to get ahead (he's so business major coded)... it's honestly the gray area in their power dynamic that's interesting to me... who's the tool and who's the user...?

honestly nothing in specific. cis but in a "never really put much thought into it" kinda way. could he be inclined to question or transition? perhaps, but he is too busy cleaning up the giant comical jar of disgusting orange sauce that spilled all over the floor because a customer insisted they could fit a weeks worth of groceries into one cheap reusable grocery bag and it predictably split open and went everywhere and now the whole store smells like nondescript orange sauce and he has a headache from the smell but the manager will be pissed if he closes the register and moves to one further away so he just has to mop it between customers and the stain remains until they redo the nylon in 30 years.

A random headcanon:

a common theme between all three of these characters is that theyre young enough to fall in the age range where they could have been kidnapped by claw and i choose to believe that's what happened. especially sakurai. this kid screams kidnapped. no one would have looked for him....

General Opinion over said character:

i dont think about the 7th division members all that much just because they all get introduced in my least favorite arc so i dont really have a reason to reread/rewatch unless im doing a full series rewatch, but as a background character enjoyer seeing people have thoughts on them makes me very happy

this is a weird question to answer for the more minor/background characters so instead ill say "i used to sorta ship him and minegishi in like a qpp sorta way when i thought they were like the same age but learning minegishi was like 19 and punching the numbers meant that unless they didnt meet until less than a year precanon there's no way to make that not weird so i dropped it". so it goes.

Let’s Diversify Furuba Part 1

Hey Fruits Basket fans !

A few years ago, I became very aware of the need for diversity and representation in all medias types and in the same time I realized that a lot of the books or shows I read as a child/teen were very... straights. Including Fruits Basket, even if I still love this manga with all my heart, so I had a little fun with putting more colors in the characters’ sexualities and genders while trying to stay as truth as possible to their canon selfs. And in honory of the new anime airing soon I decided to share it because why not ?

Since puttig them all in one post would make it way too long I’m starting with the Zodiac members and will make another post for the others. I’m excluding Kisa, Hiro, Megumi and the other childrens because I’m lacking informations to formulate propers headcanons about them. And I want to remind you that those are my headcanons and you’re absolutly free to disagree with them. So, let’s go !

Hatori : straight, demisexual

Shigure : straight-ish, can occasionnaly be attracted to men but is mostly into women

Ayame : pan, genderfluid, usually use the pronouns he/him or they/them

Kureno : asexual

Ritsu : trans MtF, lesbian

Akito : straight, got a hard time adjusting to feminine pronouncs at first

Kagura : bisexual, mainly attracted to womens

Isuzu : bisexual 

Yuki : straight, demisexual

Kyo : straight

Hatsuharu : bisexual

Momiji : gay or asexual

And here we are for the cursed Sohma’s, I put things whitout explanations because I wanted it to be as clear as possible and I feared that with 14 lignes of texts for each character I would lose you but feel free to ask me about anything.and share your owns headcanons, I would like that very much ! ;).

I also want to point out than even if I’m a part of the LGBTQ+ community and try to be as informed as possible I may have made mistakes and hurt peoples feelings, if so I deeply appologize as it wasn’t my intention at all !
