being a little fledgling trail worker and seeing a pulaski in your comic (which was beautiful!) made me so happy i said.. I know him !! also sort of unrelated but i got to work for a sponsor who was also trans lately and it made me really happy to see there's people like me out there doing what i want to do with my life . also! Every pulaski enjoyer i know is so so into the pulaski and i am so bad at it lol
YOU KNOW HIM!!! 🥲♥️ & I totally get what you mean - getting to work with queer project partners as a crew lead was such a joyful experience! There are so many of us out there working trails. & don't give up on Missus Pulaski! It wasn't my favorite tool for a lot of my early trail work days (roadhoe was my first love) but it really, really grew on me! I love how versatile it is in both cutting/digging/prying/etc. I also appreciate that the tool head is generally heavier, which lets you really use that weight to pack a punch on digging.
