Been two years since I learned how to crochet and I can confidently say I have never actually checked what size crochet hook i’m meant to use with a ball of yarn. What i do goes.
#only had a 4.5mm and 7mm one until this year.#even now I mostly use my 4.5 mm bc I’m so used to the weight and feel#hate the 7mm bc it’s plastic#crochet#also this hasn’t actually caused me any problems#with knitting using the wrong knitting needles had caused me problems
