I was sitting in my office scanning the first collector's edition of Destiny, the book that comes with it is going to be a beast, for DA and while I was waiting for the scans and flipping through the book ... I started tearing up. ... crying.

You have to know something about me. I grew up poor. Now I wasn't no food in the house or moving place to place poor, but I was the if it wasn't a special occasion, necessity or free we're not getting it. Also if they didn't approve of it

So I never really got to ... Collect things.

I had my little folders of things of art from magazines or things I traded for at school etc. A little goblin hoard. But nothing complete.

I watch things I wanted and loved go on by, promising I would get it once I was older.

And here I am older and I have a collection of something I love, and not just a mismatched of stuff. A full set.

Every CE that came out for Destiny I have.

And I'm crying

And it's not because it's Destiny, it's just because I didn't miss any of it. I didn't watch it slip through my fingers. It's in MY HANDS.

And now I can scan it and share it with others who might have missed out.

I'm just happy.

As for some of the other things little me promised to get when she was older, well it slow moving but she getting those too. One of the first thing big her got was the Halo Reach collectors edition with Dr. Hasley journal and it sets proudly on her shelf with her other things. Next is working on getting the W.I.T.C.H series.

I know it's just things, but they're my things.

Aloe Vera and papyrus for the ask game~

Aloe vera -> what's something (mundane) you really want to experience in life?

I want someone to text me and ask to go food shop with them, just to look and buy some food (I love just looking around in food shops)

Ooo I love this question. I have two answers:

The Great War by TS -

This one appears a lot, and I associate it with the Ice Court Hiest and just the crows adventure and the found familiness of them. I saw a six of crows edit with this once, and it fit perfectly. I also associate it with the other books like the kos duology and ruin & rising.

Predator by YONAKA -

This one is a new one, but I have listened to it on repeat today, and I love it. It reminds me of Arcane / a fighting animation.

Nightmare by Hasley -

For this one, I relate to the lyrics for personal reasons, specifically the 'I don't owe you a goddamn thing', this lyric is so true and relatable, and I would love to say it to people. I do also associate it with mostly Inej, Wylan, and a bit Matthias.
