the first time misty ever calls peter her boyfriend is completely on accident okay so one of her best friends from when she lived in california is in ny to visit a college and they’re out and about because senior pictures are a thing but they’re also hella expensive so why pay for them when your ‘girlfriend who isn’t officially your girlfriend but you guys are basically dating’ is a photographer and can take them for you?? so literally after a day of hyping peter up as he poses next to various buildings and trees they bump into her friend and they’re like “holy crap i haven’t seen you in such a long time!!” and misty’s like “i know!!!” and they’re like “i missed you so much!! ….who’s this?” and misty without even giving it a second thought is like “oh this is my boyfriend, peter!” and her friend is like “woah cool nice to meet you man!” and then they catch up and promise to hang out on a different day and misty doesn’t even realize that she just called peter her boyfriend?? and peter is lowkey freaking out because neither of them have asked each other officially yet? and so after dinner, peter walks misty home and he’s like “did you mean what you said back there?” and misty is very “???” like yes, i’ll edit the pictures tonight and send them to you tomorrow lol don’t worry about it! and peter is like “when you called me your boyfriend….” and misty almost faints because holy shit she really did call him her boyfriend and she starts to panic and you can see it in her eyes and all peter can think to do is just grab her face and kiss her and then he pulls away and is real shy and cute and says “because i would love to be your boyfriend” and misty is straight up cheesin’ and she kisses him again and says “good because that’d be really embarrassing for the both of us if you didn’t” GOD
