#look i just think that he .#the one thing he gets real passionate about (and what puts him a step over his brother). is alchemy#his specialty ofc being in plants/nature#has transmutation circles on his gloves and tends to carry seeds around for easy transmutations#leaves home to become a state alchemist. and not even a full year after obtaining his license he's sent to fight in the ishvalan civil war#loses his arm in the war protecting one (1) captain fairfield and is (understandably) pulled out#instead of turning in his license he undergoes surgery to replace his arm with automail so he can keep preforming alchemy#just. absolutely refusing to give up his life's passion and studies#post-promised day he'd be very interested in travelling to xing to learn more abt alkahestry and its medicinal uses#anyways im thinkin. abt my boy (im always thinking abt jake park lbr)
