Went to pick a friend up after his surgery in Boston and (this is common) he’s going to be getting out a lot later than we expected/planned, so I doordashed gf crepes to my car and am writing little bits of novel on my phone while I wait. I can see the crescent moon right from my window. All things considered, kind of chill?

#I got a call from the nurse like ‘he’s out! now you must wait 1.5 to 2 hours’#so I ordered my little dinner #and only after it arrived was I like WAIT was I supposed to go in and hang out?#has he just been alone while I selfishly ate crepes???#but I called back and I did not misinterpret. visitors not allowed. selfishness legitimized.#boring text posts #friends #medical
