It had been about 14 weeks since Noah had bought Alex the first set of pregnancy tests. Since they'd decided they wanted to have a baby together. 13 weeks of her figuring out when was the best time for them to have sex, and talking about ovulation, things that Noah had let go straight over his head. Weeks full of almost non stop sex, not that he was complaining about that part. The part he did hate though was the part when she cried because the next set of tests were negative again. Twice more they'd gone through that, and he hated the look on her face and the sadness in her eyes. As he walked through the door this time with another brown paper bag full of tests and a small bottle of alcohol in with it he smiled widely. Handing the bag over to Alex he kept the smile on his face. "We have to think positive he told her" her behaviour over the last few days led him to believe it might actually happen this time but he didn't want to get his hopes up. "The other thing that's in there" he started chuckling a little at his own silly ideas before he continued "I kind of hoped it might bring us luck, you know, because it's something you can't have if you are... You know" he didn't want to say the word.

Pregnancy Scare | Noah & Alex

Noah had been trying to talk to Alex properly since the incident with the forgotten condom. It had been almost 4 weeks and the fact that he was texting and ringing and she was barely replying was starting to freak him out. He'd tried going to her house but she was never there. Now he needed to know what was going on. He'd wait there all night if he had to. Standing outside of Alex's house he knocked on the door and rang the doorbell simultaneously. "Alex, you can't ignore me forever, what the hell is going on?" he shouted through the door, and kept banging on it. "Alex?" He kept repeating her name, each time increasing the volume of his voice. After she still didn't answer he added. "I'll kick the fucking door down if I have to."

Noah wasn't even sure why he'd come to this party, sure it was for a friend and it would normally be the kind of thing he enjoyed, but he wasn't so convinced of that right now. Maybe the thing was that this friend had other 'friends' in common, and one in particular, that Noah was pretty sure he didn't want to see. As he entered the house he looked around at the people gathered together, the music was loud, he had already heard it from the street and he could already barely hear himself think. As he searched the rooms for the birthday boy he couldn't find him, grabbing a drink from the kitchen he continued his search. Making his way out of the house onto the deck was when he stopped in his tracks, there she was, the one person he'd been almost positive he didn't want to see, now he was certain of it. He turned his head away from her and made his way down the steps onto the beach where even more people were already on their way to being wasted. He sighed as his feet touched the sand. Risking a glance back, maybe it hadn't been her, but as he looked back he looked away again almost instantly, it definitely was her, but then again he already knew it was, maybe a part of him was just hoping it wouldn't be, maybe that would save him some aggravation.
