May I hear a bit about Eiche’s past with his friends before the mountain man incident? Sorry I was thinking about them today-

no need to be sorry… i enjoy talking about them!

for anyone who may need a catchup: eiche is from my misfit mania (minecraft story mode) series! he’s a character that shows up in the second half of the story. you can find the link in my pinned!

besides what you and i have talked about, i imagine fichte and embla (calloway’s parents) were also a core part of that friend group, despite being a good bit younger than everyone else. fichte was, i imagine, a homebody compared to his older brother—and while embla was in my mind much more adventurous, she cared a lot about keeping fjordpost safe, since this was prior to the wall that protects the town being built! in my head, both of them died during a mob swarm, and that led to the idea of the wall being placed in people’s heads.

but onto the group themselves… while never named in misfit mania besides augustus, the rest of eiche’s friends / mining team are the following: harvey lemmington, angela hunt, and yuri! yuri doesn’t have a last name.

eiche says himself that he was a lumberjack in his youth, and this is true! it’s how he meets angela and harvey, who were doing similar material gathering work for what was then fjordpost. he meets yuri through the two of them, and had already known augustus prior—the two had known each other the longest!

after they all get to know each other better first a few years and enough wood is gathered for not-yet-fjordpost, they form their doomed mining team. calloway is born a while after that, the mob swarm that kills fichte and embla happens about a good few years after that, and then well…! we have our infamous thunder mountain incident.
