"Beverly Hills Ninja" directed by Dennis Dugan and released in 1997, is a comedy film starring Chris Farley as Haru, an inept ninja who was raised by a clan in Japan. The film combines martial arts action with Farley's signature physical comedy, making it a unique entry in the comedy genre. Supporting cast includes Nicollette Sheridan, Robin Shou, Nathaniel Parker, and Chris Rock. I still remember watching Beverly Hills Ninja in theatersTell me about the movieWho kicked it up a notch? It had such a 90s lookWhat I loved and what I would compare it with nowMake me a double featureAnswer some questions about Beverly Hills NinjaBeverly Hills Ninja is now on Blu-ray I still remember watching Beverly Hills Ninja in theaters The film was directed by Dennis Dugan and produced by Brad Krevoy, Michael Rotenberg, and Steven Stabler. Written by Mark Feldberg and Mitch Klebanoff, the movie was designed as a vehicle to showcase Chris Farley's comedic talents. The production took place in California, utilizing a mix of practical effects and choreographed stunts to bring the action sequences to life. Arthur Albert handled the cinematography, while George S. Clinton composed the film's score. Tell me about the movie The plot follows Haru, who was adopted by a clan of ninjas after being found washed ashore as a baby. Despite his lack of skills, Haru grows up believing he is destined to be a great ninja. He travels to Beverly Hills to help a woman named Allison Page (Nicollette Sheridan), who suspects her boyfriend Martin Tanley (Nathaniel Parker) of criminal activities. Haru's bumbling attempts to navigate the modern world and solve the case lead to numerous comedic mishaps. Who kicked it up a notch? Chris Farley delivers a standout performance as Haru, showcasing his physical comedy and timing. Nicollette Sheridan provides a charming foil as the damsel in distress, while Robin Shou plays the straight man to Farley's antics, demonstrating his martial arts prowess. Chris Rock's role as Joey Washington adds additional comedic moments and complements Farley's performance well. It had such a 90s look Arthur Albert's cinematography effectively captures both the action and comedic elements of the film. The visual effects are minimal, focusing more on practical stunts and physical comedy to deliver laughs. The set designs and costume choices enhance the film's comedic tone, providing a visually appealing backdrop for the humorous storyline. What I loved and what I would compare it with now Key scenes include Haru's training sequences in Japan, which set the stage for his ineptitude and humor. The Beverly Hills hotel scenes where Haru attempts to blend in while investigating Allison's case are filled with classic Farley slapstick. The climactic showdown between Haru and Tanley is both action-packed and comedic, showcasing Farley's ability to balance humor with physical performance. "Beverly Hills Ninja" can be compared to other action-comedies featuring bumbling heroes, such as "The Pink Panther" series and "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist." Like these films, "Beverly Hills Ninja" combines physical comedy with action sequences to create a unique blend of genres that highlight the protagonist's humorous incompetence. Make me a double feature For a thematic double feature, pair "Beverly Hills Ninja" with "The Pink Panther" starring Peter Sellers. Both films feature inept protagonists who inadvertently solve cases through a series of comedic blunders. Another excellent companion film is "Tommy Boy," another Chris Farley classic that showcases his physical comedy and charm. Answer some questions about Beverly Hills Ninja Q: Is "Beverly Hills Ninja" based on a true story? A: No, "Beverly Hills Ninja" is a fictional comedy film. Q: Where was "Beverly Hills Ninja" filmed? The Blu-ray edition includes several bonus materials, such as a trailer and a commentary track by director Dennis Dugan. Idea for a future “Epic Rap Battles of History”
Ninja Battle Royale:
The battle starts out with Hattori Hanzo (the real-life figure) vs. Jinichi Kawakami (the last known living ninja)
Haru from “Beverly Hills Ninja” then interrupts the battle.
Naruto Uzumaki comes in fourth.
Then, to close the battle off, we have Ryu Hayabusa.

Improbabile ninja
Quindi dovrete accontentarvi.

BEVERLY HILLS NINJA- 1997 ⭐️⭐️
Haru (Chris Farley) was raised by ninjas in Japan. However, he is clumsy.
That pretty much sums up the movie.
He goes to Beverly Hills to help Sally, a woman who hired him to investigate her husband and soon ends up in way over his head.
Mixed bag. Theres a few bits that made me laugh but a lot of it is just the same joke over and over again. I do like Farley though, hes very likable and has some good moments.
Chris Farley was very unhappy with this film and cried after watching it at the premiere.
Christian Bale lists this as his favourite comedy movie. Saying he cried laughing at it.

BEVERLY HILLS NINJA (1997) “Kung Fool” scandait l’affiche... BEVERLY HILLS GROS TAS /20
