Harthope Valley - Cold Law, Broadhope Hill, Scald Hill,The Cheviot and Cairn Hill

Weather forecast was good for the morning so headed out early and was at the top of Cold Law by about 8am. Didn’t see anyone till after Scald Hill. Very clear views across the Cheviots, Northumberland, the Borders and the coast.

There were some cloudberries near the summit of the Cheviot.

The descent from Cairn Hill along the source of the Harthope Burn was pretty tortuous (combination of tiredness and tricky footing for a couple of miles).

Harthope Valley in the Cheviots, Northumberland. This mornings walk with the family. Absolutely glorious views, few more people about at this spot in comparison to last week's people free walk.
