I’m wondering how many former Harris supporters are going to start spewing racist or misogynistic rhetoric about her after they accept that trump won. I’ve already seen misinformation start to spread and I’m certain that it’s only going to get worse.

#I saw someone say that she did nothing to separate herself from Biden #and like #no???????#she had similar stances #but like that was because she’s in the same party #she had the best stance on Gaza we could have gotten #definitely better than Biden #she was going to have a republican in her cabinet #which definitely showed a goal of bipartisanship that no one else was going for #And the only thing she wouldn’t have liked Biden for were things Kamala didn’t have #that video made me irrationally angry because it showed me that people are going to horrible about this result #I don’t think I can really explain the video and my reaction properly but I really hope I could get enough to explain my opinion #kamala harris #election 2024 #us elections #donald trump #also there are so many people just blaming each other #can you guys just stop #I’m so tired and it’s not going to do anything

Sometimes i just randomly think about how bisexual icon, magnus bane is very casually sitting in a club surrounded by men and women, because why not.

#so I don’t watch a ton of reaction videos and stuff like that #or even deep dives in general #because one thing I’ve noticed is that people will take a phrase or reference #and claim it HAS to be about this event or person #because it’s repeated or whatever #like ‘oh she said this which is THIS PERSON coded’#or ‘she said this same phrase in this other song they must BOTH be about THAT PERSON’#etc. and so on #and look I think Taylor does that to some degree when it makes sense #but I also think a lot of the time the likelier option is that she just really likes a turn of phrase and reuses it #whether its consciously or not #the obvious one being ‘casually cruel’ in both all too well and Mr perfectly fine #and the songs clearly have different inspirations #I love deciphering and interpreting lyrics #and yes the nosy part of me wants the tea I’m human #but sometimes the constant ‘this HAS to be about Jake/joe/harry/calvin/etc’ pinpointing #gets in the way of enjoying the actual lyricism for me #maybe the girl is just really bad at driving (I kid)#and like I said I am definitely ready to decode the tea #but idk sometimes it makes me uncomfortable to reduce the songs to the muse ykwim?#this is just a me thing though I know #tag novel #like as someone who has only been in the only fandom for a year-18 months #and before that just enjoyed the music on my own and fell in love with the lyricism and melodies #I just don’t particularly care most of the time about who the subject is because that isn’t how I came to learn about the music #it was for how Taylor wrote about the feelings and the moments #to be clear I’m talking about like the YouTube and Reddit crowds #you people on my dash with your thoughtful analyses are wonderful and thoughtful and I am so grateful to be here!

#sent my mom those bts x harry photos this morning thinking she’d find it cool #since she likes harry #but she literally just. didn’t care and it kind of hurt bc it’s such a huge deal for me #to see him and the boys in the same frame #i thought i’d get some kind of reaction and i just didn’t #so i felt kinda shitty about it #but then my younger sister came over and she came in my room to look around #and started asking me questions about bts while looking at my pc collection #and then she let me pretty much give her a two hour crash course on bts #while asking questions and letting me show her music videos while she tried to study their names/faces better #and it made me feel good bc i never have anyone around to talk to them about out loud in detail #or rave about them with or anything bc my parents don’t careeee so i suppress it all #and i literally said to her ‘i never get to talk about them’ so she just. let me #mind you my sister and i butted heads so much when we were younger bc we’re so close in age #we have very different music tastes #she will likely never stan bts and that’s FINEEE lol #but it’s nice that she respects my love for them and has even gifted me things/merch and keeps her eyes open for things #knowing how much they mean to me #she’s the only one in my family who really supports it without any weird resistance or fakeness like my parents do #even if they do sometimes try to show interest i know it’s not that genuine #anyway long post just feeling nice that my sister cared about the most important thing in my life even just for a little bit
