So the welsh equivalent of Oliver is “Olifer” right? so she could have kept that, and Bedwyr (Coming from Bedw, which means Birch) is a lot more creative than just “Wood”, and thats fine to keep too, so “Olifer Bedwyr” is an appropriate and accurate translation of “Oliver Wood”, you can tell who he’s meant to be and its a lot more pleasing to say, but Emily Huws said fuck it and named him Orwig.
