Bucky wasn’t one to take a nap in the middle of the day. Sure, before he was sent off to war he’d sleep off a hangover, give his feet some rest after dancing all night with some pretty ladies he had met that night. But during the years he was on the run it felt too dangerous to take a nap in the middle of the day. At any given moment, people could barge in, take him and do some god-awful things to him.

He had to be able to run away in a matter of seconds, leave his whole life behind if necessary and taking naps just… didn’t fit in that lifestyle. He slept an average of five and a half hours a night and that was it.

Now, years after his Winter Soldier era and the Snap (and Snap pt. 2), he found himself in a cozy two-bedroom apartment with a small balcony (a fire escape) in Brooklyn, New York, a cat asleep on his lap and you milling around in the kitchen.

He heard the shuffling of feet and then your legs came into his vision, before you dropped down onto your knees, your face finally coming into his vision.

"I got you fresh soup," your soft whispers reached his ears, a steaming bowl of soup obscuring his vision of your face.

Yesterday's mission had been difficult, an older woman passed away and Bucky just felt like pure crap.

"Eat that, maybe take a nap and I bet you'll feel ten times better."

So that's what Bucky did. He ate the soup as he listened to the soft strums of your guitar flowing into the apartment from the fire escape.

The nap was a whole other story though. The bed just didn't feel right and the lounge chair was too uncomfortable and Bucky just didn't feel like taking a nap. He couldn't.

But then you dropped down next to him onto the couch and pulled him in a tight hug, your face nestled into his neck as you pressed a small kiss against the soft skin.

"Come on, I'll nap with you."

And then something happened to him that he did not expect.

When you laid down next to him - you the big spoon and Bucky the small one, the white cat relaxed at your feet - Bucky felt the tiredness settle into his eyes.

A few minutes later, your breathing slowed and soft puffs of air hit his back, your cheek smushed against his shoulder and he couldn't feel more content.

Alpine was snoring too, and not long after, Bucky fell asleep, finally feeling safe enough to take a nap.

ari bby, last day of the sleepover! i wanted to send in a ship ask😗

i’m definitely a bit shy and a tiny bit of an introvert. i open up and get comfortable easier in smaller groups or if i have one person i know with me. i love to hang out with my friends and just grab food, and sit at a nice spot to eat it. or walking around and exploring downtown! i love reading and music. i like to go for walks during the sunset specifically and late night drives. i think i’m pretty independent and comfortable with my own company; i don’t need someone but i would appreciate having someone! that being said, i am a hopeless romantic who has trouble showing affection/pda😗 i love movie nights, whether it’s with my siblings at home or my friends online! i can sing, and i like to cook! i think that’s enough?

Sam Wilson!

Sam would be the person that's always be your side. Sam being an extrovert, he'd definitely take the lead whenever you guys were out together in a bar or at a party. At first, you'd feel a bit shy in the group, but with Sam's hand entangled with yours, silly jokes rolling of his lips you'd feel better in an instant, opening up to his friends, too.

Sam is a foodie; for sure! He loves going to cookouts in his hometown, and he loves that you love accompanying him. You'd sit on the dock together, thighs touching and legs hanging over the edge, dangling just above the water. He'd want you to try all the local specialities - po'boy sandwich, gumbo and beignets - and i bet he'd love to feed you them too!

Other than that, Sam loves to show you around in the place he grew up at - he'd show you where his momma bought the fresh fish or where his pops bought him his very first comic book. Sharing those memories with you is one of his favourite things to do - besides seeing you laugh at his silly jokes.

Whenever Sam sees you getting a bit down in the dumps, he'd press a kiss against your head and he'd throw you the keys to his car, giving you some space to go on a drive, windows down and music blasting through the speakers. Sometimes he'd go with you, enjoy the comfortable silence between the two of you, other times he'd let you go on a drive alone, his way of letting you blow of some steam and be on your own - he’ll miss being away from you for a few hours, but he knows you need to be alone from time to time.

I bet Sam would love to hold your hand whenever your out and about, maybe switch it up to hanging his arm around your shoulder. PDA isn’t his thing, just a much as it is yours, but once you’re home again, he wouldn’t be able to keep his hands off of you. During movie nights he’d put your feet in his lap and give them a rub, or he’d give you his big sweater for you to lounge in, his head on your lap as you’d pop a piece of popcorn in his mouth every once in a while.

Lastly, cooking with Sam Wilson in the house would be a chore! That man sticks his fingers where they don’t belong and loves to taste test everything you make (‘Sam! Please, we won’t have anything left for dinner, baby!’).

Tl;dr Sam thinks you’re a goddesss and, truthfully, with the way he looks at you, other people might start believing it too.
