This was an art raffle prize on Bluesky and features Tori the blue-throated conure as a griffon. This good birb belongs to @harkthorn ❤

@purposelycontrary really loved my pigeon gryhons but liked the idea of some new types, so they took two of my commission sale slots for these two cuties! They are up in my Redbubble if you'd like stickers, shirts, or the like!
You can also check out my commission sale here if you'd like it!

Pfft. There is NO WAY that setting is going to make a difference I bet the button doesn’t even do anything
I mean it’s not much of a difference to me either way because Google is already broadly doing this anyway.

If you enjoy my dumb pigeon photos, please consider helping to fund their terrible seed addiction. It's about time for a new bag and I fear what they will do to me if it's not provided

Politely waiting
I'm going to need to buy another bag of seed for them soon-it's about (converted) £15/$19 for a huge bag! If you feel like contributing, my Ko-Fi is here: https://ko-fi.com/harkthorn

i'd love to see concept sketches! also you should check out @harkthorn
okay guys i have a new super-cool project i will probably forget about in a week or so.
gryphons. but instead of giant eagle x lion it's any two species that are native to the same region, have similar diets, and are regarded similarly in general.
so far i've got sketches of a house sparrow x wood mouse which is native to europe and widely regarded as a pest and a puerto rican parrot x puerto rican crested toad (i bet you can't guess where it's native to) which is critically endagered despite current conservation efforts.

An old painting of a Nanday conure griffon! Forgot I did this, recently rediscovered it in my artwork folder. Watercolour, ballpoint pen, and pencils.
I still love that bottom left leaf!

Finished that wolf ACEO. Since I don't have acrylics any more, I filled it in with Pitt pen-not bad for no references/not remembering what I wanted to do with it a decade ago!
The ink is quite reflective here, need to figure that out for further photos
I put it on Kofi, mostly as a test post, but:

Listed some of my old ACEOs up on Kofi; may add more later, but this is what's available now. Hoping to create some new ones relatively soon, but have a few other things in my queue first

ID: A cockatiel bird preening a blue-throated conure bird. The blue-throated conure looks satisfied and leans in. End of ID.

Coopuccino staring down Ogre, who would rather not be in this position 🪶
I made a Ko-fi recently, and if you'd like to give towards the next bag of pigeon seed for the flock, both I and they would be incredibly grateful-Coo doesn't stay this buff without help:

@harkthorn I downloaded Glaze a while ago and haven't actually tried the Glaze application on my art yet, and this made me curious to see the rendering options, and if there would be any change.
I checked the Glaze site, and they say that there's nothing different between the WebGlaze and the app version, except you can't choose rendering time. Guess we'll see if it makes a difference.
Here is what the desktop app looks like. I'm not sure what the web one looks like, so I figured I'd take a screenshot.

I went and stuck this picture in:

And then I went through every option to see each result. It took a while, but curiosity got the better of me. Options above, result below.

Default/slowest seems like the best bet for clarity of picture, but best protection and looks is high/slowest. Looks like the longer it is, the better the render.
It's unfortunate what it does to a picture, but I guess it's the price to pay for AI scraping up art.
Makes me wonder if it looks on better art styles than others.
I hope you see this and hope it was helpful, or at least informative and interesting!

Baby owlbear sketch
Blue ballpoint pen, basic digital wash of colour, then webGlaze. It has issues with my style, apparently-would it be better if I was able to run it on my own machine?
