33. తస్మాన్మయ్యర్పితాశేషక్రియార్థాత్మా నిరంతరః| మయ్యర్పితాత్మనః పుంసో మయి సంన్యస్తకర్మణః| న పశ్యామి పరం భూతమకర్తుః సమదర్శనాత్॥॥

తాత్పర్యము : వారి కంటెను నిరంతరము తమ విధ్యుక్తకర్మల ఫలములను అన్నింటిని భగవదర్పణము గావించినవాడు గొప్పవాడు. వారి కంటెను దేహాభిమానమును వీడి భేదభావము లేకుండా భగవంతుని ఉపాసించువాడు ఉత్తమోత్తముడు. ఈ విధముగా తన చిత్తమును, కర్మలను భగవంతునికే సమర్పించి, తాను దేనికిని కర్తను గాదని భావించుచు సకల ప్రాణులను సమదృష్టితో చూచువానికంటె శ్రేష్ఠుడు మరి ఎవ్వరును ఉండరు.

వ్యాఖ్య : ఈ పద్యంలో సమదర్శనాత్‌ అనే పదం అతనికి ఇకపై ప్రత్యేక ఆసక్తి లేదని అర్థం; భక్తుని ఆసక్తి మరియు పరమాత్మ యొక్క ఆసక్తి ఒకటి. సేవ ఉండాలంటే మూడు అంశాలు ఉండాలి: యజమాని, సేవకుడు మరియు సేవ. ఇక్కడ యజమాని భగవానుడే. భగవంతుని సంతృప్తి కోసం తన జీవితాన్ని, తన కార్యకలాపాల నన్నింటినీ, తన మనస్సు మరియు అతని ఆత్మ-అన్నిటినీ అంకితం చేసినవాడు గొప్ప వ్యక్తిగా పరిగణించబడతాడని ఇక్కడ స్పష్టంగా చెప్పబడింది.

🌴 5. Form of Bhakti - Glory of Time - 33 🌴

33. tasmān mayy arpitāśeṣa- kriyārthātmā nirantaraḥ mayy arpitātmanaḥ puṁso mayi sannyasta-karmaṇaḥ na paśyāmi paraṁ bhūtam akartuḥ sama-darśanāt

MEANING : Therefore I do not find a greater person than he who has no interest outside of Mine and who therefore engages and dedicates all his activities and all his life��everything—unto Me without cessation.

PURPORT : In this verse the word sama-darśanāt means that he no longer has any separate interest; the devotee's interest and the Supreme Personality of Godhead's interest are one. When there is service, there must be a master. Three things must be present for there to be service: the master, the servant and the service. Here it is clearly stated that he who has dedicated his life, all his activities, his mind and his soul—everything—for the satisfaction of the Supreme Lord, is considered to be the greatest person.

The word akartuḥ means "without any sense of proprietorship." Everyone wants to act as the proprietor of his actions so that he can enjoy the result. A devotee, however, has no such desire; he acts because the Personality of Godhead wants him to act in a particular way. He has no personal motive. A devotee who is a most confidential servant of the Lord never does anything for his personal account, but does everything for the satisfaction of the Supreme Lord. It is clearly stated, therefore, mayi sannyasta-karmaṇaḥ: the devotee works, but he works for the Supreme. It is also stated, mayy arpitātmanaḥ: "He gives his mind unto Me." These are the qualifications of a devotee, who, according to this verse, is accepted as the highest of all human beings.

He who knows everything, knowledge of all pervading ātman. The Omniscient vide the śruti 'यः सर्वज्ञः सर्ववित् / Yaḥ sarvajñaḥ sarvavit' (Muṇḍakopaniṣat 1.1.9) - He who is omniscient and knows all.

నారదుడిట్లు పలికెను- మిక్కిలి సుందరమైనది, శ్రేష్ఠ సంపదలతో నిండియున్నది అగు కైలాసములో దిగంబరుడగు శంభుడు యోగిరూపమును ధరించి యున్నాడు (44). ఆతని భార్య పేరు పార్వతి. ఆమె సర్వావయవ సుందరి; మిక్కిలి రమ్యమైనది; మంచి లక్షణములన్నింటితో గూడి మనస్సునకు ఆహ్లాదమును కలిగించునది (45). మిక్కిలి కుతూహలమును రేకెత్తించే ఆమె రూపము వంటి రూపము మరెక్కడనూ కానరాదు. అత్యద్భుతమగు ఆమె రూపము గొప్ప యోగులకైననూ మోహమును కలిగించును. గొప్ప సంపదలనిచ్చే ఆమె రూపము చూడ ముచ్చటను గొల్పును (46). ఓ వీరా! జలంధరా! గొప్ప భార్యతో గూడియున్న శివునికంటే గొప్ప సమృద్ధి గలవాడు ముల్లోకములలో మరియొకడు లేడని ఇప్పుడు నా మనస్సులో తోచుచున్నది (47). ఏ యువతి యొక్క సౌందర్య సముద్రములో మునిగిన బ్రహ్మగారు పూర్వము తన ధైర్యమును గోల్పోయి నాడో, అట్టి ఆమెతో ఇంకొకరిని పోల్చుట ఎట్లు సంభవము? (48). రాగద్వేషములకు అతీతుడు, మన్మథ శత్రువు, స్వతంత్రుడు అగు శివుని కూడ ఆమె తన లీలచే తన వశము చేసుకొనెను (49). అట్టి స్త్రీరత్నమును వివాహమాడిన వానికి ఏ సమృద్ధి గలదో, అట్టి సమృద్ధి, ఓ రాక్షసరాజా! సర్వశ్రేష్ఠ వస్తువులకు నీవు ప్రభువే అయిననూ, నీ వద్దలేదు (50).

సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను- దేవర్షి, లోకములో ప్రఖ్యాతిని గాంచిన వాడు, దేవతలకు ఉపకారమును చేయుటకై సర్వదా సంసిద్ధముగ నుండు వాడు అగు ఆ నారదుడు ఇట్లు పలికి ఆకాశమార్గమున నిర్గమించెను (51).

శ్రీ శివమహాపురాణములో రుద్ర సంహితయందు యుద్ధఖండలో నారద జలంధర సంవాదమనే పదునెనిమిదవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (18).

Nārada said:—

Kailāsa is very beautiful and it possesses all sorts of things conducive to prosperity. Śiva lives there assuming the form of a naked Yogin.

His wife Pārvatī is exquisitely beautiful in every limb. She is charming and has all the characteristics of a beautiful lady.

Such an exquisite beauteous form has never been seen anywhere. It incites the enthusiasm of everybody. It is highly wonderful. It fascinates even the Yogins. It is worthy of being seen. It is conducive to great prosperity.

This occurs to my mind, O valiant Jalandhara that there is none more prosperous in the three worlds than Śiva who possesses the most excellent of all ladies.

Even the four-faced[2] lord Brahmā, immersed in her ocean of beauty, lost his mental steadiness formerly.[3] Who can be compared to such a beautiful lady?

Even Śiva reputed to be free from infatuation has been won over by her womanly sports. Śiva who is independent has been subjugated by her.

The prosperity that he enjoys inasmuch as he indulges in dalliance with the most excellent of all ladies has not come to you O lord of Daityas though you are the master of excellent gems and jewels.

Sanatkumāra said:—

After saying this, the world-renowned celestial sage, Nārada, pursuing his attempt to help the gods departed from there by the aerial path.

🕉. జీవితంలో గొప్ప రోజు మీరు విసిరివేయడానికి మీలో ఏమీ లేనప్పుడు; అన్నీ ఇప్పటికే విసిరివేయబడ్డాయి మరియు స్వచ్ఛమైన శూన్యత మాత్రమే ఉంది. ఆ శూన్యంలో మీరు మిమ్మల్ని కనుగొంటారు. 🕉

ధ్యానం అంటే మనస్సులోని అన్ని విషయాల నుండి ఖాళీగా మారడం: జ్ఞాపకశక్తి, ఊహ, ఆలోచనలు, కోరికలు, అంచనాలు, మనోభావాలు. ఈ విషయాలన్నింటినీ ఖాళీ చేసుకుంటూ వెళ్లాలి. జీవితంలో గొప్ప రోజు మీరు విసిరివేయడానికి మీలో ఏదైనా కనుగొనలేనప్పుడు; అన్నీ ఇప్పటికే విసిరివేయబడ్డాయి మరియు స్వచ్ఛమైన శూన్యత మాత్రమే ఉంది. ఆ శూన్యంలో మీరు మిమ్మల్ని కనుగొంటారు; ఆ శూన్యంలో మీరు మీ స్వచ్ఛమైన చైతన్యాన్ని కనుగొంటారు. ఆ శూన్యత మనసుకు సంబంధించినంత వరకు మాత్రమే శూన్యం. లేకుంటే అది పొంగిపొర్లుతుంది, నిండుగా ఉంటుంది ---మనస్సు శూన్యం కానీ చైతన్యంతో నిండి ఉంటుంది.

కాబట్టి ఖాళీ అనే పదానికి భయపడవద్దు; అది ప్రతికూలమైనది కాదు. ఇది పాత అలవాటు నుండి మీరు తీసుకువెళుతున్న అనవసరమైన సామాను మాత్రమే నిరాకరిస్తుంది, ఇది సహాయం చేయదు కానీ అడ్డుకుంటుంది, ఇది కేవలం బరువు, పర్వత బరువు. ఈ బరువు తొలగిపోయిన తర్వాత మీరు అన్ని హద్దుల నుండి విముక్తి పొందుతారు, మీరు ఆకాశం వలె అనంతంగా ఉంటారు. ఇది భగవంతుడు లేదా బుద్ధుని అనుభవం లేదా మీరు ఇష్టపడే మరో పదం. దమ్మ అని పిలవండి, టావో అని పిలవండి, సత్యం అని పిలవండి, మోక్షం అని పిలవండి--వీటన్నిటికీ అర్థం ఒక్కటే.

🍀 30. EMPTINESS 🍀

🕉. The greatest day in life is when you cannot find anything in you to throw out; all has already been thrown out, and there is only pure emptiness. In that emptiness you will find yourself. 🕉

Meditation simply means becoming empty of all the contents of the mind: memory, imagination, thoughts, desires, expectations, projections, moods. One has to go on emptying oneself of all these contents. The greatest day in life is when you cannot find anything in you to throw out; all has already been thrown out, and there is only pure emptiness. In that emptiness you will find yourself; in that emptiness you find your pure consciousness. That emptiness is empty only as far as mind is concerned. Otherwise it is overflowing, full of being ---empty of mind but full of consciousness.

So don't be afraid of the word empty; it is not negative. It negates only the unnecessary luggage, which you are carrying just from old habit, which does not help but only hinders, which is just a weight, a mountainous weight. Once this weight is removed you are free from all boundaries, you become as infinite as the sky. This is the experience of God or Buddhahood or whatever word one likes. Call it dhamma, call it Tao, call it truth, call it nirvana--they all mean the same thing.

🌷. తాత్పర్యం : మనస్సు జయించినవాడు శాంతిని పొంది యుండుటచే పరమాత్మను చేరినట్టివాడే యగును. అట్టి మనుజునకు సుఖదుఃఖములు, శీతోష్ణములు, మానవమానములు అన్నియును సమానములె అయియున్నవి.

🌷. భాష్యము : వాస్తవమునకు ప్రతిజీవియు ఎల్లరి హృదయములందు పరమాత్మరూపున నిలిచియుండు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని ఆజ్ఞలను పాటించుటకే ఉద్దేశింపబడియున్నాడు.

కాని మనస్సు బాహ్యశక్తిచే మోహితమై తప్పుదారి పట్టినప్పుడు మనుజుడు భొతికకర్మల యందు రతుడగును. కనుక ఏదేని ఒక యోగపద్ధతి ద్వారా మనస్సు నియమింపబడినంతనే అతడు తన గమ్యస్థానమును చేరినట్టివానిగా భావింపబడును.

వాస్తవమునకు మనుజుడెప్పుడును ఉన్నతమైన ఆజ్ఞకు లోబడబలసియుండును. కనుక మనుజుని మనస్సు దివ్యచైతన్యము నందు నిలిచినప్పుడు అతడు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని ఆజ్ఞలను పాటించుట తప్ప అన్యమును ఎరుగలేడు.

మనస్సు సదా ఉన్నత ఆజ్ఞలను గ్రహించి పాటించుట తప్ప అన్యమును ఎరుగలేడు. మనస్సు సదా ఉన్నత ఆజ్ఞలను గ్రహించి వానిని అనుసరింపవలసి యుండును. కనుక అది నిగ్రహింపబడినపుడు అప్రయత్నముగా పరమాత్మ ఆజ్ఞలను అనుసరించును.

ఇట్టి దివ్యమైన స్థితిని కృష్ణభక్తిభావన యందు నిలిచియున్న భక్తుడు శీఘ్రమే పొందుచున్నందున సుఖదుఃఖములు, శీతతాపముల వంటి ప్రకృతి ద్వంద్వములచే ప్రభావితుడు కాకుండును.

07. jitātmanaḥ praśāntasya paramātmā samāhitaḥ śītoṣṇa-sukha-duḥkheṣu tathā mānāpamānayoḥ

🌷 Translation : For one who has conquered the mind, the Supersoul is already reached, for he has attained tranquillity. To such a man happiness and distress, heat and cold, honor and dishonor are all the same.

🌹 Purport : Actually, every living entity is intended to abide by the dictation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is seated in everyone’s heart as Paramātmā.

When the mind is misled by the external, illusory energy, one becomes entangled in material activities.

Therefore, as soon as one’s mind is controlled through one of the yoga systems, one should be considered to have already reached the destination. One has to abide by superior dictation. When one’s mind is ﬁxed on the superior nature, he has no alternative but to follow the dictation of the Supreme.

The mind must admit some superior dictation and follow it. The effect of controlling the mind is that one automatically follows the dictation of the Paramātmā, or Supersoul.

Because this transcendental position is at once achieved by one who is in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, the devotee of the Lord is unaffected by the dualities of material existence, namely distress and happiness, cold and heat, etc. This state is practical samādhi, or absorption in the Supreme. 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹

🌻 13. The True Religion 🌻

Some Christians have the feeling that converting also is a duty, because of the fact that Christianity is the true religion, and everyone else who follows another religion is following a lesser religion or perhaps a false religion, and so converting is an essential duty. This is one of the doctrines which has been inculcated to the priests. If a Christian feels that his religion is the true and best religion, it follows from that feeling that others are inferior.

If the idea that others are inferior is simultaneous with the feeling of one's own superiority, there is a third corollary following from it that it would be good to transform people into the true religion. This follows automatically. So, if the priest does not do that, he is not doing his duty properly. I have met many good Christians, and they are honest people; one priest from Italy likes me very much. He used to tell people that I am a very nice person, and I am on the right path, and one day I will become a Christian!

రెండు తలుపులూ తెరుచుకునే వుంటాయి. వ్యక్తి ద్వారం ద్వారా లోపలికి వెళ్ళవచ్చు. ఒకడు ఒక ద్వారం గుండా యింకొకడు యింకొక ద్వారం గుండా సాగుతారు. రెండు ద్వారాలూ తెరిచే వుంటాయి. మనిషి బుద్ధుడయ్యే, హిట్లరయ్యే అవకాశం వుంది. వ్యక్తి దీన్ని అర్థం చేసుకోవాలి. అప్పుడు సమస్త విశ్వం విశ్వవిద్యాలయమవుతుంది. విశ్వవిద్యాలయానికి అర్థమదే. అది విశ్వమన్న పదం నించీ వచ్చింది. మనం అవకాశాలుగా మాత్రమే పుట్టాం. అప్పుడు ప్రతిదీ మన మీద ఆధారపడి వుంటుంది. ఏమి కావాలన్నది మన నిర్ణయం మీద వుంటుంది.
