My @desert_tech #srs is a touch heavy for chasing hares, but it does the job very well. Trust NPC // Chachanji Gegenji

Selection: “I’ll do me best!”

Job: Yoriki (Samurai, Tank Role)

Weapons: Bokuto and heavily armored offhand gauntlet

AI Behavior: As a tank, Chachanji will seek to ensure any and all enemies are focused on him. Any additional mobs that get pulled or any that somehow happen to aggro onto someone else is immediately Provoked. If his Provoke is down, he will throw an Enpi at them instead. At three or more mobs he will begin using defensive cooldowns as well as his AoE rotation to ensure any and all mobs stick to him. He will try to put his Iaijutsus up when they’re off cooldown (starting with Numb Blade and then working his way down the list) and will always immediately try to use Mineuchi if it’s up on an interruptable attack (even if he should probably save it for another one coming up).

For stack mechanics, he will immediately move to the marker and will use Unyielding Blade if up. For split mechanics, he likewise will prioritize moving away from his allies as quickly as possible. For all other mechanics, he will perform them well enough, although he will sometimes hesitate or take it more carefully during precarious field conditions (such as the balance beam mechanic). Regardless, he will still complete the mechanic even if it takes him a bit longer than a regular player or an AI with less hesitation.

He will not use the Limit Break unless he is the last one standing, and at that point he will usually use it in response to a tank buster or other large-damage attack. This does mean he’ll try using it for an instant-kill enrage mechanic if the only one alive. He just wants to keep everyone safe, even if he’s the only one left!

“Watch out!” - Using Unyielding Blade (Passage of Arms)

“Oh no ya don’t!” - Using Mineuchi (Shield Bash)

“No-Killin’ Blade: Numb Blade!” - Using first Iaijutsu (Applies slow/heavy)

“No-Killin’ Blade: Swordbreaker!” - Using second Iaijutsu (Applies damage down debuff)

“No-Killin’ Blade: Haresplitter!” - Using third Iaijutsu (Applies defense down debuff)

“I-I ain’t out jus’ yet!“ - Using Shirahadori (Hallowed Ground), <15% HP

Limit Break:

“T-thi�� is lookin’ bad...!” - Using Big Guard (Limit Break 1)

“Can’t let ‘em down...!” - Using Bigger Guard (Limit Break 2)

“I-I won’t go down! Not yet!” - Using Biggest Guard (Limit Break 3)

KO’d:

“R-run!” - Variation 1

"Ya gotta... get ‘way...” - Variation 2

Revived:

“Whu... whu happen?” - Variation 1

“A-ah! ‘m up! ’m up!” - Variation 2

Dungeon Complete:

“'s ev’ryone akay?” - Variation 1

“We done did it!” - Variation 2

Bonus:

Chachan is a high health, high physical defense tank but his magic defense is lower so spells and the like will do more damage to him. In addition, his attacks are more about generating enmity than damage and thus he may not be the one to bring to deal with any fights that have DPS checks in them unless you can account for his lower damage output. As for his Limit Breaks, these are him actually going Gojirafell to various degrees and causing a Golem-from-FF5 type situation where he absorbs the extra damage with his extra bulk (which might also be why he’s so hesitant to use it until the most dire of straits).
