Emmett turned 7 yesterday! His favorite thing in the world is to be around his family. So we took him out to Lazy Dog where he got lots of attention and a chicken lunch! Then we drove around all day and relaxed in the backyard until it was time for his birthday cake + treats. In keeping with tradition, another year = another hat 🥳 It was definitely a bittersweet day for all of us. We were really hoping Jasper would make it to Emmett’s birthday, but as you all know, that didn’t happen. We found ways to incorporate a little Jasper into the celebration, though - an extra treat with his name on it and his birthday glasses. We even got Emmett a little fox toy Bc Jasper was our little fox (kids used to come up to us when Jasper was a pup to ask if he was a baby fox 😅).
