life update

ight i have a hell of a lot to catch up on, and i have to finish this coms 4 outline so imma keep it a bit short. well, ive been hitting the bins up and met a fucking ton of new homies from the antique fair and da bins. they all come from different areas, but we all share the common passion for clothes. the antique fair is fucking great because i truly have something to look forward to each month. it keeps me happy if im honest because i always spend the day there helping out and talking about everything i am passionate about. it is truly one of the only things that keeps me happy whenever im feeling down. i’m forever thankful for ryan kwong for liking alan’s post on ig, and allowing me to find out about it. to see the homies grow their operations is so sick to me. next, i left you all on a cliffhanger about the asap rocky concert and a social media break. well... i didnt fuckin leave any social media so theres that LOL. anyways, the concert was so fucking fun. i could really make a whole ass post about the concert but yea imma just put it in here. first, jabari and i got there at 4:30 and kicked it with some homies from folsom. we didnt know who tf they were but we started conversation with them and they became out boys for the whole concert. it was cool to have people to be with as we waited underneath the side of golden 1 center. well, time passed and the line started to move. it started to rain pretty bad, and thankfully i had a hoodie, its importance will be discussed later. anyways, we got into the mf even though people cutted. we split up into those who bought merch and had to piss, and those who saved us our spots in the pit. fuckin i had to piss so yee hahahhahaha. boom, we get to the pit, and damn shit was sort of unreal as it was my first concert. anyways, time passed, and i believe a$ap twelvyy and smooky opened, the dj had some cool songs too. cant lie, the environment was pretty coo but man, the wait for rocky to come out was hell. i wanna say it was a full hour before he came out and by then we were like WTFF we were so tired haha. he came out and prettynmuch the night was started. i forgot the order of the songs but i remember him starting off with a$ap forever and then shit wass fun. there were fights and he stopped the concert multiple times in response to them. he tried getting everyone to be peaceful and all lovey haha. anyways, his set was sick and i definitely remember losing the homies because i was fr moving all over the place. at some point, i remember being in the far back and meeting some people to enjoy the concert with. by the time the concert ended, my phone was ready to die but thankfully i linked back up with bari. thankfully i had a hoodie because my lord the wlak back to the car felt so long and it was raining still. we got back to the car and fr almost fell asleep because my lord were we tired. (YO REAL QUICK I FORGOT TO ADD WE WERE AT JESSES PLACE BEFORE JUST KICKING IT). yee so we left and got mcd at around 12. shit tasted so good haha. i slept at like 2am, not really minding that i had a wedding i had to be up for. i slept during the wedding so thats all ima say about that haha. since then, life has been sort of up and down. i havent had the time to go work out or take pics on film. i wanna do that a whole lot more. some people i feel close to are always struggling and dealing with their own issues, and it sucks to realize that i can only do so much. i want the best for those around me, and to know theyre not doing well hurts me. i have been sort of down as a result, but i have school, clothes, and of course my friends to keep me up. i wanna use this more, its gonna be my diary now haha. until my next post, i wish you all godspeed, if anyone reads this long ass entry haha.

Top Tracks: Smooky Margielaa's Huge "Flight To Memphis" Earns His First #1

Is 2019 going to be Smooky Margielaa’s year? The Bronx rapper, who counts A$AP Rocky as a mentor and is currently only 16 years old, has amassed some buzz thanks to his A$AP Mob affiliation and Cozy Tape Vol. 2 guest spots, but only has just over a dozen Soundcloud loosies to his name. Over on the HNHH weekly chart, he’s never so much as sniffed the top ten as a lead artist, and only come close a few times as a guest. This week, his biggest track as a lead artist changes that, giving Smooky his first #1. Perhaps a sign of things to come?

XXXTentacion and Meek Mill are the only artists with multiple appearances inside the top ten, with two apiece. New tracks barely missing out on spots this week include A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s “Look Back At It” (#11), Lil Baby and Gunna’s “Ready” (#12), Chief Keef’s “Awesome” (#14), and Stylo G, Nicki Minaj, and Vybez Kartel’s “Touch Down” remix (#15).

10. XXXTentacion – Guardian Angel

This has to be a first: a song with predominantly backwards lyrics making the top ten. This cut from X’s posthumously released album Skins is his second mourning the loss of Jocelyn Flores, and it debuts at #10.

9. Kyle Feat. Lil Yachty – Hey Julie!

From the team that brought you the 2017 hit “iSpy” comes another “happy rap” radio play, this time entitled “Hey Julie!” This latest collaboration between Kyle and Yachty debuts at #9.

8. Sneakk Feat. Tyga & YG – Spray

Sneakk, an SOB x RBE affiliate who missed out on most of that group’s buzz in the past year, is now making his play for the spotlight. “Spray,” a new single that features Cali heavy-hitters Tyga and YG, debuts at #8.

7. XXXTentacion Feat. Kanye West – One Minute

The second cut from X’s Skins to make our top ten this week is the Kanye West-assisted “One Minute.” It debuts at #7.

6. Ice Cube – That New Funkadelic

Earlier this year, Ice Cube made his first appearance inside the top ten in quite a while, delivering a fiery anti-Trump screed entitled “Arrest THe President.” His second 2018 appearance is much more light-hearted, a cut from his new album Everythang’s Corrupt entitled “That New Funkadelic.” It debuts at #6.

5. Meek Mill Feat. Ella Mai – 24/7

For the first of two cuts from Meek Mill’s Championships appearing on this week’s chart, the Philly rapper teamed up with “Boo’d Up” singer Ella Mai over a Beyoncé sample on a track called “24/7.” It debuts at #5.

4. Rich The Kid – Splashin

Rich The Kid’s been relatively quiet since the release of his album The World is Yours earlier this year, and now we know why. Last week, he announced that a sequel is due next month, and accompanying that announcement was a new single entitled “Splashin.” It debuts at #4.

3. Meek Mill Feat. Future, Young Thug & Roddy Ricch – Splash Warning

Two splash-related songs in a row! On the most guest-heavy cut from Championships, Meek calls upon Future, Young Thug, and Roddy Ricch for quite the posse cut. The resulting “Splash Warning” debuts at #3.

2. Offset – Red Room

The only repeat from last week’s list, Offset’s “Red Room” certainly benefits from the fact that the original track was taken offline shortly after being posted. Last week, a seemingly more official version arrived, further boosting the song’s views. In its second week out, the track is down one place from #1 to #2.

1. Smooky Margielaa Feat. A$AP Rocky, Chris Brown & Juicy J – Flight To Memphis

Smooky’s first big chance to carry the torch as a lead artist definitely goes over well on the star-studded “Flight To Memphis.” The new single debuts at #1 on our chart.
