Happy Odiaba Day!

I love digimon with all my heart, and drawing characters to celebrate has been so much fun!!

Thank you to everyone in the digimon community for being inspiring and supportive of other fans, including myself!!

The day’s almost over, but I just got home from work a short while ago, so whatever.

I wanted to post these, due to it being Odaiba Day! August 1st, for those not aware, is sort of considered Digimon Day by the Digimon fandom, due to it being the day the kids from Digimon Adventure traveled to the Digital World. The name, Odaiba Day, comes from the artificial island in Japan of the same name, where much of the Digimon Adventure anime takes place (when it’s in the real world, that is).

Anyway, the above art (done by PirateHearts and Riza23 respectively) is work I commissioned long ago of my Digimon Tamer-sona, and the various Digimon that are a part of his life. 

The first image especially is very meaningful to me, as Veemon was a big part of my life growing up, and so he’s sort of the first/true partner of my tamer-sona. That image sort of represents my childhood, in a way.

Anyway, happy Odiaba Day to any Digimon fans out there! For everyone else, please have a great day regardless!
