Late night whispers echoed about the tower, the source being the three brothers who commanded the fiercest of weathers seen in nature. A concerned look painted each of their faces, not one seeming at ease.

“Did you see how distraught she was?”

“There’s no doubt about it, whatever happened at the gala didn’t forget to leave it’s mark on her.”

“Perhaps she was right when she said she wasn’t ready.”

“But if she was unable to handle that simple gathering then how is she to handle the rest of Unova? Let alone the world?”

“Quiet. She was prepared, but perhaps we underestimated the scale of the event. She needs to handle it, or else Unova may be lost.”

A silence hung over the room, the air thick and tense.

“It survived this long without both of them, you’re being too dramatic.”

“Am I?” A stern tone overtook the eldest brother, his brows knitting together firmly. “How lost were the people following their demise? How dire is the situation now? Now that he has returned she needs to be at her peak to overtake him. The region has been under his sway for far too long, the balance needs to shift back.”

“How can you say that when he’s been gone for all these years too?!”

“No, Landerous is right. You saw how the people mourned the lord’s passing. These ideals have made way for liars to overcome Unova. You’ve seen Black City, right? The greed and corruption there is as bad as the kingdoms they used to overthrow. It needs to be checked.”

“At the rate she is going, she won’t make it then.”

“Should she wish to succeed, then she must be diligent and train. No hesitation can befall her, lest we be lost to ruin.” The younger brothers nodded, for once in complete agreement. Taking the egg, the three left to their bedchambers, unaware of the presence on the other side of the room.

Munday: Happy blog anniversary, Lav! I have an ask for ya: how did you come up with the idea of creating this blog?

I came up with this blog the day after I finished the Teal Mask storyline! ^^ I finished it in two days, which was fairly quick for me, mainly because I had a lot of free time while my family prepped for my aunt's wedding (I was a kid so I didn't have much to do or much I needed to help out with xP)

I quickly fell head-over heels IN LOVE with Ogerpon! I knew I wanted to make an oc of one, and I had a lot of spare time on my hands soooo....I doodled Aya!! I ended up loving her so much, I thought, Hey...what if I made an askblog for her?

I've spontaneously made askblogs before, but Aya's especially had a lack of planning. I knew that I wanted Aya to have the loyal three as dads (it's always been a little idea/headcanon of mine), but pretty much all of the story beats I have planned now came at a much later point in time. As for what those storybeats are and what inspired them....you'll have to wait and see ;3c

I think maybe I tend to relate more to like....goofy characters, kinda like Vash, not always bc I see myself in them but more bc thats kinda like the mentality I wanna have? Without the horrors preferebly but the we stay silly part, the keeping a smile for people even when it's hard, making other people happy, that kind of thing. I just like the people around me to be happy, to do what I can to make them happy and comfortable with me.

Villians maybe? I don't write antagonistic muses as much but the few times I tried they were fun, it's easier for me to get in the headspace of a charcater that clicks and those tend to be a certain archtype but I wanna branch out more sometime, I've just never found the motivation

i like that i'm generally a nice person! i think that it's important to be kind when you can, because there's enough darkness in the world. why not be kind when you have the chance?

... on another note, though, i'm really happy that i'm getting better at standing up for myself and handling conflict. because being kind is important, but sometimes you gotta be a bitch and that's life! i was rereading something i sent a friend years ago regarding a conflict i was having at the time, and i was astounded by it lmao like... oh my god. my dude. you have very good reasons to be upset and it's okay to say "i'm mad at this person" without adding a million disclaimers that it's probably not their fault!!

i genuinely think i'm *so* fucking funny, and for better or worse, you will certainly hear my jokes.

i'm a good listener. when people are having a hard time and need someone to talk to, i'm good at like... just offering a listening ear. i may not always have advice but i can generally listen and chat and help someone talk through it if that's what they need.

i don't like to judge people unless they give me very, very good reason to, especially if i don't know them. i try to assume ignorance more than i'll assume malice, though i'm also trying to get better at recognizing when the line between those can get a bit blurred haha.

i was obsessed with these books a completely normal amount as a middle schooler (lying). something about this like... charming middle-aged professor who keeps finding himself in the middle of massive conspiracies usually related in some way to religion and frequently having his life put in danger? and saves the day by being a fucking nerd? what a dude!

if you were there for my rdr2 fixation (which most of you definitely weren't lmao) then uhhh yeah <3 genuinely i had a huge crush on this character and was so obsessed with him for so long. the yearning was out of control, folks. i do still have a lot of fondness for him, but tbh some not-so-fun interactions in the fandom really put me off of the whole series for a while. he still means a lot to me though!

would it be exaggerating to say that rhys tftbl is the reason i'm trans? probably. but y'know something about him really resonated with me at a time when i was really going through some gender fuckery and trying to figure myself out. idk what it says about me that that shitty little twink helped me figure myself out a bit, but anyway.

had to list at least one woman lmao- but yeah i really love evelyn. she's such an incredibly written character and every time i reread (or. rather. re-listen to) the series i actually get a little choked up because her narrative is so *fascinating* and well-done to me. like wow we love a tragic cringefail woman who has to face her own mistakes and become better, not just for her own sake but for others'!!! and face the fact that her fuck-ups hurt more than just herself!!!

evelyn is one of the many characters i'm considering for the horror multimuse i talk about sometimes. and maybe i'll even let her stay a cis woman- i'm kidding ASDFJKL; but like. fr. we'll see.

honorable mention for the trashiest man i'm currently thinking about lmao- so i started watching iasip because i wanted to see the insanity for myself and. wow all of these characters are terrible. but god it's so fun to see them in action. and charlie is by far my favorite. he's illiterate. he drinks paint. he eats cat food for fun. he's an artist. he makes a living beating rats to death with a stick. he's a wet paper bag of a man. he's very deeply traumatized and doesn't realize it.

WHAT’S THE WORST INJURY YOU’VE EVER HAD? I’ve had my fair share of kidney surgeries, but I think the one that really takes the cake is when I tore my ACL a few years back and had surgery to repair my knee. The recovery was bad, yeah, but that was all short lived. The long term effects is what really gets you, I became fearful of like....everything, I don’t do a lot of things I used to love to do anymore in fear of tearing my other one, it’s always the mental stuff. I hate it.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OBSESSIONS RIGHT NOW? The Batman Who Laughs is my current obsession! I bought signed comics, action figures, commissioned for a plush and now I’m looking to get a body pillow of him. Guys, I obsess hard and it’s only been a month. Although, in all seriousness, Starscream is always my endgame obsession.

DO YOU TEND TO HOLD GRUDGES AGAINST PEOPLE WHO DID YOU WRONG? Not really, not on instinct. I’m a pretty laid back person, if I’m mad at you it’s rare and it means you’ve really pissed me off---but to hold a grudge? I haven’t held many, but I suppose it really depends on what’s been done.

As for what I struggle to draw?

God. Hands. Hands are so hard for me to do tbh, I need to practice with them more imo? That and anything perspective related methinks. It’s so hard to do but I want to get better with it both posing and background wise!!

Why suffer? I know I have written a lot but the answer is easy. It's Bill Overbeck. I still love him a lot and if there were enough people I would be comfortable writing with, I would bring him back in a heartbeat.

Slice of life or plotted ideas?

I'm a big advocate for both. I love writing out little snippets of everyday life or crazy shenanigans without bigger plot. But I also enjoy HUGE plotted epics. However, for the latter, I need a partner with the same energy as mine. It's always hard to explain but I need someone whose head has the same interior design as mine, if that makes sense.

Are you easily distracted when doing replies/asks? Or are you “in the zone?”

I USED to be easily in the zone and churn out 10+ replies a day. Now days I'm happy when I can write one reply without clicking on the next youtube video or zooming out. (This has also to do with that I can't write as much on my job anymore)

28.   is your muse canon divergent in any way?

oh, jacques is most definitely canon divergent! while there is no actual lore for the good hunter if not implied, so that you can build your own character in a way, jacques differs from bloodborne’s canon quite a bit further. when thinking about him in this version (since, as a reminder, this is an alternative universe for him, the original has nothing to do with the game) i took a LOT of inspiration for his lore and his story, if i ever get to narrate it in some way how i imagined it, from the alpha bloodborne. the game before it was the game we know and love! there were just... so many interesting concepts in there, especially the alpha bloodborne content in the clinic that are the basics of jacques. so yes, you can say it follows more the alpha bloodborne than the game itself, which makes him quite canon divergent indeed!

futhermore, there are a ton of interpretations and theories involved, especially involving yahar’gul which you, gio, are aware how much it terrifies me, together with the creatures with the bags that can kidnap you if they down you; not to mention blood effects and its extraction. there is a reason why jacques is so desperately trying to stop using blood, after all...

i could talk about the alpha bloodborne of jacques’ story for hours, honestly, and a single post is definitely not enough... but i might - i should, actually - start making some posts every once in a while explaining a bit of divergent worldbuilding i’m making. or i might make those short comics with jacques i have in my mind since forever... those too.

36.   do you feel similar to your muse in any way?

unfortunately, yes. and i say unfortunately because it’s easily seeable how jacques isn’t... in its best shape, really. and lately, me too - i will admit that i am venting a lot through jacques, so there are similarities between us. wihout going too deep with details, both our lives changed drastically and suddenly (only in very different ways), we both need a hand but it’s so hard to admit it, we’re both pretty melancholic and very scared lately... and we’re both really, really tired. at the same time, though, to say at least one positive thing about myself, i think we’re also both strong. we’re keeping on standing up and walking forward, despite everything. clinging to that certainty that things will get better, and not letting anyone tell us otherwise.

37.   do you feel different to your muse in any way?

oh, for that, we’re also very different! we’re definitely not the same person, which makes me let out a sigh of relief. i can safely say that he’s in a situation a lot worse than mine, which makes us live and react differently, and living in much different words also make a big difference. i’m not addicted to substances, which have not altered my personality or mannerism, i have a much more decent sleep schedule that keeps me sane, and i’m learning to stop and take pauses instead of always pushing forward, which he rarely does. at the same time, i’m not nearly brave as he is, and i don’t know how to use a spear or a rifle while he’s an expert. and to be fair, i’m certain there are a lot of other differences, but i’m starting to be sleepy and i can’t focus a lot anymore. but you get the point - in many things we’re very similar, and i relate to him a lot; on others, we are definitely different.

Welcome back to another episode of Munday. Let’s spread some positive vibes around here! What are 3 things about yourself that you like or are proud of?

Three things I like/are proud of? Alrighty!

My Sense of Smell – My nose is a fickle thing, since sometimes I end up smelling things that other peeps don't, and it makes me feel like an idiot for pointing it out. But there was this one time where an odd, almost burning smell was coming from the living room, and apparently only I noticed. What was it? A plug-in heater that could've nearly started a fire because the plug was loose. Like, the plug itself was starting to melt, that's how much it was overheating. It's not something I talk about regularly, but it’s still something I'm proud of. And I always keep my nose out for any more burning smells, even if it's just the neighbors barbecuing something =w=

My Memory – When it came to stuff for school, my memory wasn't the best. History was one of my worse subjects =w=" But if you wanted me to memorize something like, say, a list of characters from one of my favorite games or the storylines for specific ones, you know damn well I would. Now if only I could train myself to memorize other things... like name pronunciations for Genshin... that’d be nice :’)

Being Easy to Give Gifts to – If there's one thing Christmas and my birthdays have shown, it's that I don't ask for much, if anything. Granted, this is because I can never seem to figure out any specific things that I want, but it also means that you could give me a random shirt you saw in the store (or some fuzzy pajama pants ;3c) and I'd still be happy. And even if there IS something I have my eyes on (usually a game), I'm almost never in a rush to get it. Even if I actually have the money to snatch it the minute I see it.
