🍻 svt reacts to your drunk texts.
@hopeless-foolery → "how would the members react to you cutely drunk texting them?"
⌗ ┆i too would be drunk texting svt about how much i adore them... ⁽⁽ଘ( ˊωˋ )ଓ⁾⁾

🍻 headcanons .ᐟ
— would make fun of you ✩ jeonghan, junhui, soonyoung, mingyu, seungkwan.
svt have had their fair share of seeing each other drunk, so it should come as little/no surprise that they've got a little bit of a teasing streak when it comes to a drunk you. soonyoung beats them all out by a mile in the sense that he will demand to be drinking with you. he can't have you being the only one having all the fun! if he can, he'll roll up and drink with you until you're both drunkenly blabbering to each other. mingyu uses the opportunity to ask drunk you a bunch of the silliest questions. he'll be very serious as he tries to get you to answer the perilla leaf debate, for instance, because he thinks you're most likely to be a little more honest (and very cute) when you've got a little bit of alcohol in you. as for jeonghan, his exploitation is a lot more light hearted; he's quick to seize the chance to fish for compliments. he thinks it's amusing, how you'll get all flustered in the morning. "no take backs!" he'll claim as he basks in all your sweet words. junhui is similar in the sense that he's already taken dozens of screenshots of your drunk texts. as leverage, of course, but also for him to look back on a rainy day. one of his favorite things is finding ways to surprise you when you're drunk, because he knows you'll get emotional over a random call— or, if he can manage, a surprise visit. seungkwan teeters the line of making fun/taking care, though he often does start with an exasperated kind of joking. ultimately, he'll never be able to resist the urge to make sure you're okay. (think: the famous instance of seungkwan taking care of a drunk wonwoo.) he'll dish out all his jokes before going to find you and make sure you're all good.
— would take care of you ✩ seungcheol, joshua, seokmin, minghao, vernon.
seungcheol would be the caretaker. the moment he gets those drunk texts, he's already gearing up to take you home. he's the gentle hand at the small of your back, keeping you steady. best believe that he already has everything you need in his car's glove compartment. he loves your drunk texts, sure, but he loves looking after you so much more. vernon's more of a the-day-after type of care. he'll show up at your doorstep with a small smirk, teasing something along the lines of "you went hard again, huh?" but he also has aspirin, gatorade, takeout soup. you name it. he won't mention your sappy drunk texts, though he's also secretly taken screenshots just in case you take it back. joshua, seokmin, and minghao all have that similar instinct to make sure you're okay, no matter how happy they might be to see your cute messages. joshua will indulge your drunken babbles while 'subtly' trying you to care for yourself. if necessary, he'll coax you over video call to drink less, using the most honeyed voice ever to get you to cave. conversely, seokmin will stay up until you get home. he prefers being able to pick you up, sure, but when he can't? he'll battle off his drowsiness and will only crash when he gets that 'i'm home' text. minghao, no matter what time you catch him, will be on his feet at any sign of you having drunk one too many. it's the way he loves, after all— to love is to be burdened, but to not think of it that way.
— would be endeared by you ✩ wonwoo, jihoon, chan.
wonwoo may be a little confused, but he's got the spirit! he'll probably sigh to himself when he sees your drunken rambles. (although, if you squint, there's a hint of a fond smile on his face. a warm gleam in his eyes.) he'll let you have your fun and will occasionally shoot you well-meaning reminders, all the while keeping your words in the back of his mind. jihoon would take your words seriously. he's the kind who believe that alcohol can lower inhibitions, can incite sincerity, so he'll be more than a little overwhelmed with your sheer affection. the mere thought of you wanting to take it back would make his heart lurch. like seokmin, he's the text-me-when-you're-home type, except he stays awake for much longer just contemplating your texts and how they make him feel. and chan will try to tease, will attempt to be like his hyungs— prompting compliments, fishing for praise— but when the words sink in? when he realizes that you actually might mean what you're saying? he's so far gone, it's not even funny. he'd do anything to hear more of it. (preferably in person, which is why he's rushing to where you are asap.)

hcs about bathing with tomu 🛀🫧
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: i think this is a funimate sketch...
Warnings: nsfw
He didn't get in the shower and stayed stinky forever end of story.
(Bad ending)
trying to convince Tomura to take a bath with you especially when he gets that gamer groove on his chair is like trying to get a fish to walk, it's impossible.
taking a shower is a different one though, you'll have to lure him in with the premise of shower sex, yes you will have to jack him off.
he does like the feeling of showering, it helps calm his itches and sometimes it soothes the burning sting from when he claws at his neck.
but bathing? he doesn't really like it, not in the dingy and small bathtub, but if he feels really stressed out, i.e he vommits, he will want to have Kurogiri run a bath for him.
he won't tell Kurogiri that he wants it though, he will just stare blankly and sadly at him while he tries to guess what Tomura wants.
he'll point and ask to several things before the dots in his head click, throughout the years he can tell now by just the way Tomura slouches.
back to you and Tomura though...he would like bathing more if they had a bigger tub, but right now he's okay having you in his lap while you two stew in human soap soup.
he loves it when you wash his hair, he is kind of a freak and will sometimes let out a moan that didn't need to be that loud just to entice you.
and since the bubbles cover up the water, he will touch you. carefully though.
he loves grabbing your body when your wet, he loves seeing the shine, and it just makes him happy that you're..close to him.
If you have big boobs, he will play with them, not even sexually, and he was so surprised when they didn't float.
"Hey what the hell? are your tits like...defective or something?"
Imagine yourself as Kurogiri hearing your son young master discussing with his s/o on why he's confused huge titties do infact not float.
Kurogiri has unfortunately heard the weird shower discussions you two have.
anyway, there have been some occasions where Tomura falls asleep in the bathtub with you, and when he wakes up he has a pout on his face that he doesn't know he's doing and it's so cute.
when he's drunk or tipsy thats when you can convince him to shower, under the guise of sobering up.
he has asked you to cockwarm him while he sits and stews after a long day of being a loser.
your loser is now clean, good for you, and him.
(Good ending)

i love your writing so much, thank you for everything <3 (especially for post!prison spencer and sunshine!reader!!!) i was thinking about spencer and r are hanging out. still, no one from the team knows yet. she saved his contact as “cutie pie” or some other pet name (and maybe even he doesn't know it yet), and he calls, but someone from the team picks up her cell phone before she does and answers like “uuuuh who are you, 'cutie pie?'” and the spencer was "what???? who's cutie pie???"
Spencer’s at home sick. He’d come over before his fever set in and he’d been delirious by the time he crawled into your bed.
You wanted to stay home too, to take care of him and make him chicken noodle soup that would’ve been too spicy or make him take his medicine- he can be a bit of a baby about the liquid stuff.
Instead, you had to come to work.
You left medicine on your bedside, a large glass of water and a couple sleeves of saltines for Spencer.
At work you’d been texting back and forth when he woke up, giggling and smiling much to Luke and Matt’s confusion.
“Who’s got you smiling like that?” Luke asks and you lock your phone, holding it against your chest.
“Just someone I’m talking to.”
It’s the wrong thing to say because just as the words leave you Penelope is in the bullpen and you look up at her like you’ve been caught red handed.
It’s not that you and Spencer are trying to keep your relationship a secret. It’s that you’ve only just started dating- maybe a month. You know Penelope will feel betrayed for a few minutes before asking for updates.
“Who is this someone?” She asks and you shrug, not wanting to say too much.
Your phone pings again and Matt raises his eyebrow- he’s come to be like a protective brother to you.
“Is it serious?” He asks, watching you bite your lip to hide your smile.
“Yeah, I’d say so.”
Penelope squeals, your phone rings. You freeze for a moment when your phone announces, “Baby.”
She lunges before you do, snatching your phone from your hands and then answering.
“Who are you, ‘baby’?” Penelope says and you bite your lip, hoping Spencer is at least a bit coherent.
“Put it on speaker, Garcia.” Luke says and you shriek, apologies already circling your head for Spencer.
Penelope does as asked, and repeats her question. “Well mystery Baby, who are you?”
Spencer’s voice is hoarse and confused as he repeats, “Who’s baby? Penelope is that you? Where’s Y/n?”
The entire bullpen goes quiet, a crippling sort of silence that is longing to be shattered. It goes unshattered and stretches till the tension makes the room taut.
“I’m here, I’ll call you back Spence.” You say quickly, body hot as you rush to hang up.
“So, the boy genius huh?” Penelope says, a chuckle breaking through your group.
“I knew it!” Matt said, opening his hand as Luke fishes out his wallet.
“What did you know, Simmons?” You ask, watching Luke place what looks to be a couple hundred dollars in Matt’s hand.
“That you and the good doctor were seeing each other.” He says like it’s no big deal. “I knew it from the second day when you guys started doing your crosswords together.”
You blow a raspberry, not even you knew you were going to end up with Spencer.
“Rossi’s going to love this gos!” Penelope says, rushing out with a wave of her arm.
“We are happy for you, you’re cute together.” Luke compliments, laughing when you hide behind your hands.
When the drama dies down you text Spencer, I think everyone is now aware that we’re together. Oops
Spencer texts back, more coherent than you’d thought he’d be given the temperature of his fever: That’s not so bad. At least now I can kiss you between the crosswords.
You roll your eyes, You already do that, genius.
Spencer’s response has you a mess of emotions. So, baby huh? I didn’t think you’d be fond of that one.
Go take your medicine and get some rest, Spencer.

Lowkey thinking about. You know how when you finally get the character you've been saving up for, you start freaking out? Cheering, celebrating, stuff like that? Imagine the characters being able to hear you and being so damn happy they brought you such joy. -sibling anon
collision course
word count: ~500
-> warnings: minor spoilers for xiao lore, wink and a nod to neuvilette lore, minor spoilers for freminet lore, potentially ooc lyney(?)
-> gn reader (you/yours) and freminet, lyney, neuvillette, and xiao, in that order
taglist: @samarill || @thenyxsky || @valeriele3 || @shizunxie || @boba-is-a-soup || @yuus3n || @esthelily || @turningfrogsgay || @cupandtea24 || @genshin-impacts-me || @chaoticfivesworld || @raaawwwr

Tumblr media
freminet is tempted to reach for his diving helmet when he hears your cheers, wanting to hide from the blush that threatens to break out and the sudden wave of panic. had he kept you waiting? what if he didn’t meet your expectations? he wasn’t all that familiar with combat, less so on dry land… all of this flashed through his head at lightning speed, but he did his best to put it aside. he held pers against his chest, letting himself smile the longer your celebrations go on. just wait until lyney and lynette hear about this…
lyney is proud. it’s like the high he gets after a show well done, but instead of the deafening cheers of the audience, its the happy celebration of one. he knows you can’t see him—not entirely, anyway, your device blurring his features—so he doesn’t keep himself from smiling. his eyes close to block out everything else but you, welcoming the divinity in the air as it begins to seep into his skin. he’d been looking forward to this moment ever since he got his vision, even going so far as to plan out how he’d tell his siblings. he’d stop by the market for fresh fish—or maybe pick up a treat from Café Lucerne, or maybe both. today was a day of great celebration, and he was glad you were as happy as him.
neuvillette is surprised at first. on one hand, of course he’d return to you, and he didn’t like that doubt about that was ever present in your mind. when he’d received his constellation, he’d made a promise to both himself and you that he’d do his very best to answer the stars when—if, he reminded himself—you came looking for him. on the other… it was beautiful to hear your joy. your laughter echoed around him, and he committed every part of your celebration to memory. you were thanking him, funnily enough.. perhaps when you descended, he’d have the chance to thank you properly? for now, though, the best he could do was keep the skies of fontaine clear. whatever you wanted, you would have, and if you wanted him, then who was he to deny you?
xiao has very little visible reaction, not that you’d see it anyway what with the screen between your world and his. internally, he does worry for a moment about your happiness—had he missed you before? it felt excessive, to be so excited over him… should you call, he would always be there in an instant. it was even written into his contract with morax that he would defer his duties to liyue if you needed him. every part of him was an extension of your will, right down to the nature of his work; he worked day and night to protect his section of your world, keeping watch for any who tried to disturb it. if he had it his way, you wouldn’t have to use any more than one star for him to come, but your link to teyvat was a tentative one. he’d have to repay you for the trouble later.

Hi, in game i always found it very cute when our character spend all days running around/is always in a rush, but always stop to talk to our favorites npc
How would the love interest react to this ? If they realise the very busy farmer is always making time for them, even if they are in a rush, they will always stop to talk to the LI.
This is so cute, oh my gosh!! Here are the headcannons! :3 (under the cut)
Tumblr media
Celine:
She watches everyday as you run out of your Farm and stop to greet her in the flower patch.
She thinks it’s so sweet how you make time to talk to everyone in the town.
She thinks it’s even sweeter when you’ve clearly been running around all day, but she hears your voice call her name and offer her a gift.
When she tells Adeline and Reina about it, they’re all giggly blushing messes.
She never wants to bother you as you’re running around, but she does always hope you’ll stop and talk to her.
Once you guys are in an established relationship, it’s her favorite part of the day. Mostly because you come up and kiss her cheek, ask her about her day and you always make time for her.
Balor:
Similar to Celine, he sees you run up every morning. He can’t help but admire the way you wake up with a pep in your step- or at least it seems.
When you stop to talk to him, he appreciates that you try to make it brief. But in truth he would talk to you for hours.
He also adores how you run up to him after a day in the mines to pass off any jewels you got.
He wants to squish your cheeks and tell you to stop being so good.
After you’ve gotten into an established relationship, whenever you try and run off with a dismissive, “Sorry, sorry! Time is money!” He pulls you back into him and frowns. “Money can’t buy happiness.”
Ryis:
When he sees you running around, he can’t help but smile. Knowing that you’re doing your best to help Mistria. But then- you take time for him???
It makes his heart flutter, watching you skid to a stop to talk to him.
He will listen to you about anything and everything. He doesn’t care if it’s just about what you caught today, or saw in the mines.
After you guys are in a relationship, he’ll slowly start to guide you toward the Inn to get you something to eat. Mostly so you can keep talking to him.
And sometimes he’ll see you running around, call your name and when you turn around he’ll run up and give you a quick kiss. “Come find me later? I wanna hear about your day.”
March:
We all know that he would pretend not to care.
But in truth? He cares. so. much.
He knows your footsteps and looks over before you say hello, letting out a sigh. “What.” “Just came to say hi!” “Well don’t waste your time.”
But you do, and he loves it. He eats it up.
He’s laying in bed, just thinking about you and how cute you look when you say hello and GAH HES GNAWING AT HIS PILLOW.
He would try so hard to ‘not care’ but the second you don’t say hi to him he is OFFENDED.
After an established relationship is formed, if you don’t say hi he will walk to your farm and demand a hello and a kiss.
If you don’t give him his kisses he will pout. I’m sorry I don’t make the rules.
“March, what are you doing here?” “You didn’t say hi today.” “March, we’re going on a date later?” “and? I need my kisses y/n.”
but you roll your eyes and oblige.
Reina:
At first, she probably thinks it’s just cause you get free soup at the inn. which is a perk- but not the only reason you say hi.
It’s when you find her outside the inn that gets her heart fluttery.
You actually…don’t just want the soup? You wanna talk to her???
She would tell Celine and Adeline and they’d all giggle about it.
She loves when you bring in veggies for her to try to make stuff with though. Or anything really! Any of your foreageabples, fish, etc.
After an established relationship she would always have a meal ready for you, and make you sit to eat. She knows what you get up to in a day, and she will make sure you have enough food to eat for it.
But you’ll always drop by and give her a kiss, tell her you’ll see her later and drop by again after dinner.
It melts her heart every time.
Tumblr media
A/N: I didn’t do the everyone so just let me know if you want someone specific!! This has just been sitting in my drafts forever 💀 I just started school up so i’m probably gonna get slower with all of it

Accidental Confession
word count: 1228 || avg. reading time: 5 mins.
pairing: post-time skip!Nishinoya x chubby!Reader
genre: fluff
warnings: spoilers
request: watching Goosebumps, having caramel popcorn while dressed as a pirate (accidental confession) with Noya || fluffy, accidental confession with Noya
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Noya leaned closer to the bowl and took a deep, happy sniff of the soup. It was pouring outside and originally he wanted to meet a few new friends to go fishing again but as adventurous as he was, he didn’t feel like catching a cold along with the fish. So, he resigned himself to sitting in the small restaurant he found a few days ago, enjoying a slow afternoon with you and his latest travel companion, Saruta. The little seaside town he had settled in for the time being was a narrow one like someone had pushed a bunch of houses as close to the shore as possible to save space. No building was higher than two stories, a stark contrast to the many impressive metropoles he had seen during his world tour so far. He usually never spent more than a week in one place. He wanted to see as much as possible after all before his sense of duty - as well as his parents - called him back to Japan. But here, in this tiny hamlet with nothing to do after 6 p.m., Noya stayed for almost a whole month now. And all because he met you the minute he stepped off the ferry. Much like his high school self he definitely still believed in love at first sight, however, the more he got to know you, the quicker he realized that none of what he had ever experienced with anyone in Miyagi came even close to how he felt about you.
You were daring and witty, strong and beautiful and if he could have proposed to you on that first night he would have. But if he learned anything in school that stuck it was that his previous approaches to flirting and dating weren’t exactly well-received and often described as “coming on too strong”. And since he didn’t want to mess up his chances under any circumstances, he resigned himself to pining and made a pact with himself instead. To pad his funds a bit he had joined some oyster shuckers and decided that once he found a pearl he’d confess. Unfortunately, he grossly overestimated how long it would take him to find one and chickened out immediately when a tiny pinkish thing rolled into his palm on the second day. Soon enough he carried around a small handful of them in an empty TicTac container. They weren’t worth much, all being roughly the size and shape of a corn of sushi rice but a local girl who was selling self-made jewelry turned them into a necklace in exchange for him manning her stall while she went to grab lunch.
You excused yourself to the bathroom, leaving the two young men behind. Noya already knew what was coming before his friend even started.
“Hope you realize, I feel myself age while I‘m waiting for you to make a move.“, Saruta said.
“I‘ll do it soon.“, Noya replied automatically as he looked at his almost empty bowl, considering ordering seconds.
The other raised a highly doubtful brow, “Now, where have I heard this before? Oh yeah. You, last week. Come on, it‘s not that deep. If she likes you back, great, if not, you just move on and will forget about her in no time.“
Noya glared at him, making Saruta raise his hands in defense, “Look, you have the necklace ready, it‘s her birthday tomorrow, probably some stars are aligning as well, just do it.“
“Right, I meant to ask you about something.” Noya reached into his pocket and pulled out a heavily crumpled piece of paper.
“What’s that?”
His friend smoothed out the note and skimmed the short text.
“Well, what does it look like?”
“Birthday wishes - but I’m not seeing any kind of confession here.”
Noya ignored him.
“Could you translate it for me?”
“Why? She knows Japanese.”
“I know, but I wanna do it in her native language and you’re the only one I can ask.”
“Have you heard of the internet?”, Saruta asked sarcastically, pushing the paper back across the table.
Noya waved him off. “I don’t trust online translations to make it sound natural. Plus, no program is gonna correct my pronunciation, hm?” He batted his eyes pleadingly and with pointed fingers gently slid the note to Saruta once again.
“Fine. But you’re paying for dessert.”
In all his time at school, Noya had never studied as hard as he did that night. Huddled together in the cramped hostel room they shared with 10 other guys, Noya and Saruta went through the note again and again until the latter threatened to smother Noya with a pillow if he repeated the words in his presence one more time.
The following morning the former libero made sure to dress in his best (aka cleanest) clothes and hurried to meet you outside at the pier as previously agreed.
His steps slowed when he spotted your chubby silhouette waiting. The morning air was icy even without much wind. Seagulls cawed sleepily as they patrolled the shore. The sun was just beginning to rise, coloring the horizon in tones of lavender and gold.
Noya reached into his jacket to double-check that the necklace and cheat sheet for his birthday wishes were in place.
“Y/n!”, he called and you turned around, giving him the most arresting smile.
“Yuu! Not gonna lie, I thought you overslept.”
“Not today.”, he laughed nervously and joined you at the railing that separated the street from the beach.
“I wasn’t sure why you wanted to meet so early but…”, you pointed towards the sun steadily climbing over the calm waves, “this is gorgeous.”
“Yeah…”, he said, most definitely not paying attention to the sunrise in the slightest.
When you caught him staring, he cleared his throat and pulled the little tule bag containing the necklace from his pocket. He held it out to you.
“For you.”, he added unnecessarily.
“Oh, thank you so much! You didn’t have to get me anything.”, you beamed at him and the cold October morning suddenly felt a whole lot warmer.
He took a deep breath and although stumbling over a few words here and there he recited his short speech.
“Happy birthday! I need you to know that from the moment I saw you, I knew I was in love. I can’t stop thinking about you and if you’ll have me, I’d love to be your boyfriend.”
Your jaw dropped, then you began to blush and finally you clutched his gift to your heart when he finished.
“I really like you, too!”, you replied in Japanese. Noya stiffened and his heart pounded in his ears.
“You what?”
“I really like you, too!”, you said again, a little quieter but still carrying the same enthusiasm, “And I’d love to be with you.”
The realization dawned in time with the sun. He didn’t know whether to kill Saruta or kiss him. It should have been obvious from that smile he gave him before bed.
With trembling fingers, he helped you put on the necklace, the different hues of the pearls shimmering in the golden gray morning light.
You hesitated for a moment, then stepped forward and closed the gap between you for your first kiss.
In every photo he took on his travels from this day on you were by his side, necklace and all.
Tumblr media
a/n: That necklace 100% made an appearance on your wedding photo, too.
request for @mikayla1117
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to finally write for him! Also thank you so much for your kind words 🥹 I hope you enjoyed it!

Negan froze with the spoon halfway to his mouth. Someone had just knocked on the front door. But who the hell even knew he was sheltering here, in this dingy little shack hidden in the woods? Carol? He lowered his spoon back into his bowl and grabbed his knife off the table, approaching the door cautiously.
"Who the hell is it?" he asked, his lean body tensed and ready for anything.
"It's me, you idiot."
And then he was smiling. Your voice, resonant and sweet, coming through the oak door was far better than anything he could have dreamed up. He was unlatching his makeshift lock and pulling it open to see you standing in the doorway, soaked from the misty day. "Goddamn, this is a fuckin' surprise, doll..." he said, still grinning.
You breezed in past him without invitation and started glancing around the dusty and cobwebbed corners of the place. He had obviously tried to clean off some of the furniture and there was a fire blazing in the hearth. You turned around, your jaw set. "Well, I guess it's better than a cell," you observed.
"How'd you find me?" he asked.
"Carol," you said. "Not that I needed her to tell me. I could have tracked you. You left boot prints practically all the way from Alexandria. You're getting sloppy after your confinement."
Negan was staring at you intensely for a long moment, unsure what to say next. He was too busy just drinking in the sight of you, lost in the fact that you were actually standing in front of him. "Not that I'm not happy to see you, but why are you here?" His tone was almost hopeful...
"Just checking in on you," you said, your arms crossed, not giving up a smile yet, though Negan was desperate for one.
"Checking in on me? Wow, darlin', that sounds an awful lot like you give a shit."
"Let's not get carried away," you retorted quickly, drawing a laugh from him.
"Well, welcome to my abode," he said. "Glamorous, isn't it? Help yourself to a chair. Clothes are optional. House rules."
"Negan," you said, warning in your voice.
"I can take mine off if it'd make you more comfortable."
"Negan!"
He returned to his seat at the table, chuckling to himself. "I'm just kidding, doll. Well—not really... but I won't push my luck. You just showing up here feels like a fucking miracle. Can I interest you in some fish soup? I won't say it's good exactly, but it's hot and you look soaked to the skin."
"I'm fine. I already ate."
"Well, really, if you'd like to get out of those wet clothes—"
"For fuck's sake, Negan!" you snapped.
"What?! I was just going to offer you a change of dry clothes!"
"I'm sure you were. With strings attached."
"Me? Nooo..." He laughed again and then in a somewhat surprising mannerism that gave away an unusual case of nerves, he brushed a hand back through his hair. "I may joke a lot but—the truth is I—I respect you too much to try anything like that." For the first time since you'd walked in, your expression softened. "It's fuckin' good as hell to see you."
Prompt: "Clothes are optional." A/N: Happy Wicked Wednesday, my loves!

Stay in
Lando Norris x Fem!reader
Summary: Lando had won his first Sprint and you had a whole day planned to celebrate. Only the weather decided to take a turn.
wc: 554
It was one of those days when the weather decided to be annoying, with the constant drumming of rain against the windows disrupting any plans that had been in place. The day started early with little drops of rain against the roof, creating a cozy backdrop for a lazy morning. But as the hours passed, the rain kept pouring, showing no signs of drying up.
With the original plans with Lando canceled due to the rainy weather, the two of you found yourselves huddled together on the couch, seeking cover from the dreary day. The warmth of the room enveloped you, and the glow of the TV lit up the darkened space as you watched 'Tangled' together. Despite the unexpected change of plans, the day had taken on a new charm as you snuggled up to each other.
Lando's hand was running through your hair, massaging your head. It felt like heaven, and you didn't want it to stop. "Do you want to get some takeout?" your boyfriend asked, looking down at you. It was as if he read your mind. "Do you have a preference, or can I choose everything?" you answered.
"So long as it isn't sushi, I am alright with everything you choose." You laughed at his comment. Lando doesn't like fish, not even a little bit. If any food is near a fish, it is directly inedible. It can be a little annoying because you love it, mostly sushi. You just ate it when he was away. "We can get some Chinese. I love dumplings or wonton soup."
You sighed as Lando stood up, leaving you alone on the couch. "I will order it. Don't watch the movie without me. I need to know what she is going to use that pan for." You nodded and paused the movie. It was boring without Lando there. You pulled the duvet higher up, hoping it would warm you up, and took out your phone.
Your social media was full of pictures of Lando winning his first race. You smiled as you saw Lando on the podium. You were so happy for him. You knew how hard he had been on himself for never winning, and even now he wasn't completely happy because it was a sprint race. In his head, it didn't count. "What are you looking at?" Lando sat down next to you again. He took your head and put it back on his chest.
"Your win. I can't help but be so proud of you, honey," you said, ruffling his hair.
He shrugged his shoulders. "It's not a real race, though. The win doesn't count." You saw him pout, and you hated it. His face was the most beautiful you had ever seen. A smile on it brightened up your whole day. "I know, honey, but you don't need to beat yourself down so much. You did great, and you have to enjoy that. There will be a time when you cross that finish line in P1 in the feature race, and I will be right there to celebrate it with you."
He smiled and looked you in the eye. "You promise?" You couldn't help but place a kiss on his lips. He was such a great driver; the only problem is that he didn't see it. You put out your pinky for him to take. "I promise."

Bloodsucker
Vampire Nikto
Happy Halloween!!!
Nikto x Reader
Gender neutral, Reader's bits are not specified.
Warning for NonCon.
Two weeks in a safe house in rural Siberia didn't seem so bad on paper. You had all the supplies you could need, a nice remote location away from any danger, and a lovely view of a small lake to wake up to every morning.
The cabin was cozy, clearly built for only one guest at a time. It was heated with wood burning furnace, which you kept fueled with firewood someone had helpfully collected beforehand. There was canned food and medical supplies in the cabinets, and even some old fishing gear in storage, next to all the assault rifles and packs of ammunition. The radio dish only needed occasional cleaning to keep working, and you only received signal every now and then. You didn't mind the silence, though. In fact, this short trip might even be a peaceful break from your routine back at base.
Within the first few days you could tell something was wrong. You woke up cold, no matter how many blankets you added to your bed and no matter how many logs you added to the furnace. You started to feel dizzy too, often having to pause what you were doing to sit down and have a few cups of water. You probably didn't look so healthy either, but there weren't any mirrors in the cabin, so you had no idea.
You began to have strange dreams- cold hands on your thighs, on your waist, up to your neck- whispers in your ears and nails digging into your flesh.
"Beautiful... all alone..."
You toss and turn in your sleep as the sensations start to feel too real.
"We are so hungry... and you have so much to give."
A sharp painful sting plunges into your neck, and you wake up the next morning sore and tired.
That day, you look for some painkillers in the cabinet to no avail.
The next nights aren't much better.
"Sweet thing... just a bit more..." The voice is louder this time, and you can detect a Russian accent in his words.
This time the other side of your neck is punctured- bitten, he's biting you. You can feel his warm breath on your neck as he sinks his teeth deeper. The ache turns from ice cold to red hot, and you groan and protest as your body gets weaker and weaker.
"Don't struggle..."
A hand travels down your chest, past your stomach, to your inner thigh-
You wake up in a cold sweat. It seems that you aren't just sick, you're also pent up.
That evening, after completing all your daily tasks, eating your favorite canned soup from the small collection in the kitchen, adding a few more logs to the fire and getting into bed, you decide to ease some of the tension from last night.
The only light in the room is from the oil lamp on the bedside table, bathing the space in a soft orange glow- it's soothing, you think.
When's the last time you even did this? Too long, apparently, because your hands are clumsy and awkward as they feel up your body.
You're supposed to imagine someone else, right? You didn't seem to have any trouble with it last night- the deep, gravelly voice of an you're sure you've never met saying strange things, touching you with cold hands, and leaving in a flash.
You close your eyes, letting instinct control your motions. Slow rubbing, massaging, and stroking, up and down, like waves crashing on a beach. It's not as good as you had hoped, but it's something.
"Fuck..."
A thumping sound jolts you from your short lived moment of pleasure.
It's not the noise a fox or squirrel would make. It was a loud bang against the front wall of the cabin- a small bear, maybe?
You quickly retrieve your pants and a tank top and grab a loaded rifle from the storage unit before readying yourself to open the door.
The instant you do, and rush of cold air momentarily distracts you- just enough time for a pair of strong arms to reach from behind and grapple you, squeezing the air from your lungs. The gun falls to the floor with a clatter as the door swiftly shuts closed.
"Our little soldier... you have no idea how much you tease us..." He growls under his breath.
The voice. The voice from your dreams. He was real.
He loosens his grip on your ribcage slightly, letting you breathe again.
"Now, let us finish what you started."
With inhuman ease, he carries you to the bed and pins you down. You finally get to see the man haunting your dreams, the man who's been watching you for who knows how long.
His face is scarred and disfigured, cuts and chemical burns painting his skin. His black hair is patchy is some places- more scar tissue, you notice- and is cut short everywhere else. His eyes are beautiful, a cold crystal blue that freezes you in place.
He wears a large black coat, making him look bigger than he actually is- and he's still very big.
He unbuttons it, letting it fall to the ground. His muscles stretch the fabric of his white dress shirt. He looks like he just came back from a dinner party.
"You must be so confused. You are wondering who we are, why we have been watching you, yes?" He caresses your cheek with his thumb as he speaks in an ineffective attempt to soothe you, especially considering the permanent scowl carved into his face.
"You were our dinner for the last few nights. You have the most delicious blood, you know that? It's addictive." He lifts your wrist up to his mouth and kisses it.
You struggle against him, but he keeps you pinned to the mattress like an insect, small and pitiful compared to him.
"You look so beautiful while you slept... I had to know if you were delicious in other places as well."
His tongue pokes out from between two long canines to lick over your veins. The teeth from your nightmares.
"What- what are you?" Your voice is shakier than you expected, betraying how utterly terrified you are.
"Your lover," He responds simply, and bites down onto your wrist.
You cry out in pain as he laps up the blood, his lips slowly stained with red as he devours his meal.
You try to fight back, but his strength combined with the fatigue of the last few nights had you collapsing back onto the bed.
After seemingly having his fill, he lets go of your wrist and begins to slip off his own pants.
"You are going to love this, малыш... you will be mine, I will take care of you- you will be my little pet, never leaving my side." He yanks your pants down next, groping at your tender flesh with greedy hands.
He bends down to leave hickeys up and down your neck as his fingers work to gather up a mixture of blood and spit to lube your hole, but it's not very effective. Despite that, he still spreads your legs and positions himself between them, giving you a glimpse of his cock.
God, what a sight it is. It's got plenty of length to it, but what's more impressive is it's girth. Could you even fit that? It's not as if he's giving you much of a choice. He's already wetting his head with precum and nudging it against your tight opening.
You groan as it stretches you, bullying it's way into your gut. The pain has you seeing stars and desperately clawing at his skin.
"Relax- relax, you can take me." He moves his lips from your neck to your chest, nipping at your skin with a fierce hunger.
A short whine escapes you when he bottoms out, sinking himself inside you like he was made to be there.
"Ah- there, look. You fit me so nicely." He whispers into your ear. "I will try to be gentle for you. You're such a sweet thing, after all." You can only moan softly in response.
He grunts when he starts to pull out, his pulsating length rubbing against every inch of your walls, before thrusting back in.
"Nng- fuck, ah-!" You can't form other words, too lost in how bad it hurts and how good it's starting to feel.
It's sickening how lovingly he cradles you, whispering praise and promises in your ear. He said he'd be gentle, and you can tell he's barely holding back. Every thrust is just a bit too calculated, every movement is restrained to make sure you don't break.
Your hands find the collar of his shirt and tug him down to meet you.
"Please- more- I can take it, please-" You gasp into his chest. His grip on you gets tighter, like he's seconds away from giving in.
"You think you can handle it? You are so fragiIe compared to me, I don't want you breaking." He growls. You nod vigorously, the only thing you can focus on is the feeling of him inside you, reaching places no one else has been to, making you feel things you've never felt before.
He pounds into you hard, like he was built to slam you onto his cock, like he needed it to live. You, on the other hand, almost regret asking for more. Your body just wasn't made to take something so thick, and you weren't given enough time to adjust. It's so mind-numbingly good, though, so euphoric, you don't even mind the ache.
You don't even realize you're crying until he starts licking up your tears, back to cooing and comforting you as he picks up the pace. You can feel the tense coil of pleasure in your core tighten, and evidently he feels it too.
"So good- release onto me, it's alright. My sweet little thing, so happy on my cock-" He groans into your ear, and suddenly his hands have started stroking right there, and he's pounding into your sweet spot, harder, harder-
You whimper pitifully as you orgasm, and your whole body is shaking in his grasp. He's still going, desperately thrusting into you, all speech lost to the animalistic frenzy of the moment. His teeth penetrate your skin one more time, and as you feel his hips stutter and a warmth shoot deep inside your body, you also feel a tingling from the fresher wound. Before you can even think, your vision goes black and you lose consciousness.
○~○♡○~○♡○~○♡○~○
His little soldier had cum so hard they passed out. It was adorable, everything about them was, really. Nikto felt like the luckiest man alive- well, undead. As he bundled you up in his coat, ready to whisk you back to his manor, he couldn't help but stare at your peaceful face. He couldn't wait to bring you home... his little pet indeed.
Hey! This was my first time writing an actual sex scene. Hope it was good!

All the Days of My Life
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: Guess who's already back with another story! This one's much shorter, I promise. This was inspired by a Reddit post I once read and my friend getting married last week. Thank you, as always, to @misscharlielulu and @escapingrealtiylovinginsanity for reading my drafts and making them better.
Pairing: Sonny Carisi x female reader
Word count: 1K
Also posted on AO3
It was a chilly fall evening, so you made some soup while waiting for Sonny to come home from work. While cooking was more his thing, it made you happy to do something special for your husband. You’d only been married less than a month, but you’d already grown accustomed to your new titles, husband and wife. That magical feeling from your wedding day still hadn’t quite worn off yet. Which you knew was ridiculous since nothing really changed that day. You’d already pledged your love for each other long ago and lived together for many years before tying the knot. But nonetheless, you bore the name Mrs. Carisi with pride.
You turned around when you heard the door click, greeting Sonny with a smile. “Hey, sweetheart, how was your day?” You looked over your shoulder as you continued to stir your pot.
“Eh, you know, the usual.” He sidled up beside you and kissed your temple. You leaned into him, trying to capture some of the warmth radiating off of him. You’d always call him your own personal space heater. A blessing in the colder months, but a curse in summer due to the amount of cuddles required to keep him happy.
“Fighting crime? Saving lives?”
He groaned at your remark. “More like interviewing creeps and filing paperwork.”
Sonny went through his routine of hanging his coat, locking up his gun, and pulling his phone out of his jacket. He snapped his finger as he realized he’d almost forgotten something. He rummaged through his pocket and fished something out before walking over and handing it to you.
You opened your palm to see that he’d given you his wedding band.
You stood there puzzled, staring down at the shiny thing. Confused about why he wasn’t wearing his ring, but even more so why he handed it to you. You racked your brain for some kind of logical explanation but were coming up blank. “Um…what’s this?”
Sonny looked at you incredulously. “What do you mean? It’s my wedding ring.”
You furrowed your eyebrows at his brilliant answer. “I can see that, silly, but why is it in my hand and not on your finger?” You asked as your eyes darted between him and the ring in your hand.
Sonny made a sour face as flashes of his earlier case raced through his mind. Even the delicious aroma of your soup wasn’t strong enough to overpower the memory of the smell. “Was at a gnarly crime scene this morning. I took it off to scrub my hands when we got back to the station. Rubber gloves aren’t 100% effective, ya know.”
Your husband, the germaphobe. He held his left hand in front of you, and you finally understood what he was wanting. “Oh, you can’t be serious. You’re asking me to put your ring back on?” You knew Sonny was a sentimental sap with a heart of mush, but this was next level, even for him.
“You’re my wife. I’m pretty sure that was in our vows.” He still had his arm extended in front of you as he nodded towards his hand trying to encourage you to put it back on.
You covered your face to stifle your involuntary giggles. “I don’t remember ‘putting a grown man’s ring on whenever he takes it off’ as part of the gig.”
“Should’ve read the contract more closely, doll.” He tsked at you as he shook his head. “And I’m afraid—” He grabbed your left hand and pointed at your own ring. “There’s no returns or exchanges on this deal.”
You couldn’t help yourself but smirk at his reasoning. You humor the poor man with an overdramatic huff, returning his wedding ring back to his ring finger. “So I guess I’m gonna be doing this forever now, aren’t I?” Your voice raised sarcastically.
Sonny brought your hand to his face to kiss your matching band. “For all the days of my life.”
All the days of my life.
That was a part of your wedding vows. You internally rolled your eyes at how disgustingly cheesy this all was, but you couldn’t help but stare at this man in wonder. You couldn’t believe how lucky you were to have found someone who loved you so much, so completely, that he wouldn’t feel right if it wasn’t you who was putting on his wedding ring.
The symbol of his love and commitment to you.
Well, you did promise for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health. You supposed you could live with putting Sonny’s ring back on for you the rest of your life.
And from then on, you did just that. Every single time, you slipped Sonny’s ring back on his finger each time he took it off, no matter how silly the reason. Like whenever he was mixing ground meat to make fresh meatballs for spaghetti night. Or when you were packing to move to a new apartment and he didn’t want it to get scratched. Even when he was worried about getting electrocuted while trying to fix the light switch.
“What, you wanna be a widow already, doll?”
Then there was the time Sonny had acute appendicitis and needed emergency surgery. He woke up groggily in a hospital room, not completely remembering why he was there. Through his haze, he looked around the room, trying to put the pieces together when he noticed you sitting beside his bed. You gave him a warm, familiar smile, and he immediately felt more at ease.
“Hey, tough guy. How you feeling?”
He mustered up all his strength to groan out, “Tired.”
“I bet you are.” Your 6’ tall ‘superman’ looked so fragile lying in that bed, hooked up to various wires and tubes. A brutal reminder that he wasn’t, in fact, an indestructible superhero. But a mortal human whose life could vanish in an instant. “I have something for you.” You reached behind your neck to unclasp the necklace you were wearing. You fiddled with the chain and pulled off a ring.
His wedding ring.
You’d kept it close to your heart when he was in surgery, ready to give it back to him when he woke up. You took his left hand and returned the ring to its rightful place. He looked up at you with dopey, puppy dog eyes, his heart completely filled.
“What, did you think I’d forget?” You asked with a wink.
“Thank you, doll.” He looked down at his ring and gently squeezed your hand. “For always putting it back on.”
“And always will. All the days of my life.”

Oneshot! Fushiguro Megumi
Fluff 💓
This is just something to keep me occupied, nothing cannon, just happy fluff
Tumblr media
Sniff
I lay in bed, genuinely upset with myself for feeling like a slob. I hated being sick, I hated feeling helpless. I haven’t done anything within my normal routine for three days now, and my roommate, Nobara was being distant with me because of that. It wasn’t that she didn’t care for me, in fact, she sent me sweet texts every now and then to make sure I was okay, she just didn’t want to get sick.
Megumi had done his best to keep me well, I knew he also didn’t like me being sick, but there wasn’t anything we could really do about it. He tried to talk me into seeing a doctor, but I have a fear of them, and Shoko was busy with Yuji after their last mission. Or maybe that was just an excuse so I didn’t feel like I was bothering anyone.
As a result, however, Megumi had been taking care of me. He was upset that I didn’t contact him for help to begin with, but being stubborn was sadly one of my less favorable traits.
“I brought you some soup.” He stated plainly. While his voice portrayed no emotion, his eyes said it all. They were frantic with worry, laced with care. I smiled at him.
“You didn’t have to do that, gumi.” I said, opening my arms out to hold the bowl he was carrying.
“Yes I did, you won’t ask for anything.” He said, handing me the warm bowl. I hurriedly started eating it. His eyes widened with shock.
“Slow down! You’re going to burn yourself. When was the last time you ate anything?” I gave him a sheepish grin, he knew the answer to that. He rolled his eyes. “Y/n, have you seriously not eaten anything in the last couple of days?” I didn’t respond, I only continued to scarf down the soup, which was surprisingly good. He scoffed.
“I’ve got my work cut out for me with you, don’t I?” He said, feeling my forehead gently. His cool hands felt like ice compared to my burning skin. I winced.
“Your hands are freezing.”
“No, you just have a really high fever. I’m going to call Shoko.” I shook my head frantically. He paused, waiting for my excuses.
“I’m fine, I promise! There’s no need-“
“I know you don’t want to be a bother to anyone, love, but you may need medical attention. I’m not going to sit back and watch you mope around for the next few days. You aren’t even taking good care of yourself.”
Reluctantly, I let him fish his phone from his jacket pocket and dial Shoko. I knew he was going to do it whether I agreed or not.
He kissed my forehead lightly before crouching down beside my bed, grabbing my hand gently.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t let anything happen to you again. I care too much for you, regardless of how I show it.” I smiled at him, grateful to have such a caring boyfriend.

Ghost lost and mourned his family. He was certain he will never have something like that again.
Until the first Christmas he agreed to spend together with 141 and not hide in his baracks for the whole holiday season. Soap convinced him, who else could?
Ghost was scared of the Christmas Eve dinner. He was sure it will be awkward and the whole team will be walking around him on egg shells - rightfully so. He was awfully sensitive during this time.
But he was wrong- the dinner felt... homey? Even though they were all stuck on base. Laswell and her wife showed up and helped Gaz making various dishes in their small base kitchen.
The trio shouted at anyone who dared to enter the busy kitchen and bother them. The rest of them could only salivate at the amazing smells coming out of the room.
Soap made them all wear silly sweaters so he could take a picture of all of them and send to his mother. Mama MacTavish wasn't too happy about Soap's absence in Scotland so he tried to ease her nerves.
When they finally sat at the two flimsy tables put next to each other Ghost was afraid of the silence that will come, the awkwardness. But it never came.
Price raised a toast for all of them, happy that they get to be together another year. Simon noticed that Price was smiling right at him, like he was happy to see him at the table.
When Gaz served them their first meal- which smelled delicious, Soap immediately snatched the mashrom filled dumplings right out of his beetroot soup.
Soap remembered that Ghost did not appreciate the slimy texture of the mashroms but the soup was great.
No one expected him to talk so he was happy to listen to the chaotic banter and several conversations going over the table engaging only when he felt like it.
Gaz shared his fish recipe with him later getting carried away and telling Ghost about his grandma's delicious pastries. Ghost loved every minute of the conversation.
And when a familiar Christmas song played on the radio- the exact same song that played at his brothers house that awful day he lost his family- he spaced out a bit.
But his family was right there with him.
Soap putting his hand on his thing the minute he noticed something is wrong. Prices raspy laugh pulling him out of his head. The pleasant noise of people's voices happy and alive.
The pleasant noise of his family around him.
My head hurts so sorry if it's gibberish, love ya all

What the JJK men eat for breakfast
[Y’all already know what Gojo’s one is gonna be like… ]
Warnings: none! Pure fluff <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nanami - A medley of things: usually his breakfast consists of salmon and rice, yogurt with berries, and a leafy salad with extra kale and tomatoes. Nanami starts the day off right, ensuring he’s got enough energy to get through the day with the grueling task of fighting curses. —After all, Nanami takes his job seriously & his goal is to save people; Nanami eats well so that he’s not in a weaker state— in the case that his energy level is the difference between somebody living or dying. [bonus note: Nanami carries protein bars and runner’s gel on him at all times, in case he needs a pick me up.]
Choso - the traditional Japanese breakfast of miso soup, fish, pickled vegetables, and rice. This breakfast array is filling for the stomach, and satisfying for the tastebuds, while also being healthy and a great way to start off the day with lots of energy! —These things are important to Choso, at least nourishment is important for him to serve to his brothers. He also enjoys this typical Japanese breakfast when he’s not totally neglecting himself while in search of his brothers. [bonus note: Hundreds of years ago, Choso used to cook for his younger brothers, juggling making meals with a bunch of other things. So, he can do lots filling & healthy recipes.]
Toji - this booger will eat anything he can find. He ain’t doin no meal prep the night before. He worries about it the day of. [bonus note: he’s gotten his breakfast by stealing lunch boxes from unsuspecting children more times than he can count.] [bonus note two: Toji actually really enjoys the typical western breakfast of bacon and eggs, toast, and coffee. He would eat this a lot back when his wife was still alive.]
Geto - this pretty prince likes having a solid meal for breakfast, something both nourishing and enjoyable. His favorite breakfast meal is fried rice with lots of meat bits, miso soup, green tea, and a salad. [bonus note: Though Geto doesn’t have a sweet tooth to the extent Gojo does, Geto does enjoy a pastry in his breakfast a few times a week.]
Gojo - He loves donuts for breakfast. They’re just such a sweet treat— he loves that it’s sugary glaze (or chocolate) melts on his tongue like a shot of liquid happiness, as the first taste he experiences in the morning. Gojo will also have a berry smoothie to accompany his sweet tooth. He honestly doesn’t eat super ravenously, so this suffices as a breakfast for the almighty Satoru Gojo. [bonus note: back when Satoru and Suguru were in each others’ lives, on top of his own, Satoru would often end up eating whatever Suguru was having for breakfast.]

Doomed to love you - Kakuzu x Reader
Warning: Angst with a bit of fluff, Dark Themes, no happy end - it's Kakuzu after all...
Words: 4,6k - tagging @snuggleboots, @missalienqueen and @wing-ed-thing because I think you might like it
Bonus points if you get what the Kid's names are all about...
Tumblr media
10.
His father’s hand is heavy on Kakuzu’s shoulder.
Across from him, your mother does the same with you.
You’re shorter than him, your long hair tied into pigtails. There’s the ghost of freckles over your nose, but it could also be the sunlight, broken into a million pieces by the cascading waterfall Takigakure is soon going to be famous for.
You look like a kid, which shouldn’t be that weird. He’s just got ten years old himself.
But everyone at the Academy aims to look older while you seem perfectly fine looking the way you are.
The grip on his shoulder changes, shakes him out of his reverie.
He looks up at his father who stares down at him. Right. Don’t expect any help from the old man.
When he turns toward you, you’ve put your hands in front of your mouth as if to hide a smile. Your mother looks tired.
“Shake hands.” She tells you - or him?
So he does, stretches out his hand for you to take, and watches with almost morbid fascination as you lean down and press your lips to the back of his hand.
By the laws of his and your Clan, you’re married now.
There are no laws for Divorce in Takigakure yet.
-
Your mother dies a year later.
You move in with him because he’s your husband and has to care for you. His father likes to remind him of that every time there’s not enough food on the table for all three of you.
A good man, his father declares, makes sure that his wife has enough to eat.
A good father, Kakuzu wants to throw back at him, would make sure his child doesn’t have to go hungry. But he doesn’t. Because while he might not be scared of anything, he’s too smart to get into trouble with the old man. It’s less risky to stay hungry and give his portion to you.
By the time he’s twelve, he’s doing odd jobs on the side whenever he can, handing you the money whenever he’s sure no one can see it.
You’re a quiet one. He’s too tired to talk most nights anyway, so he’s glad you don’t chew off his ear when it’s time to slip into bed at night.
Ever since his father took up drinking and lost the house, they share a single room and huddle together for warmth at night.
-
“Kakuzu,” You whisper. His eyes snap open, Kunai ready. It takes him a moment to realize it’s you. You haven’t spoken in so long he’s forgotten the sound of your voice.
“What?”
“Sh.” You move a little closer. Your legs are warm against his. He’s never noticed before how warm you are. “Don’t wake your father. I’ve got a job.”
“A job?” He furrows his brows. “You should still be in school.”
“Like they teach me anything useful.” You quip back at him. “There’s this rich family who’s got a gaggle of kids. I make one hundred ryō an hour looking after them.”
His mouth waters at the number. One hundred ryō could buy him a decent meal every night.
“How many hours are we talking?”
They get to planning. Two days later everything is set in motion. They move out while his father is out drinking, taking with them what little stuff they can find use in. There are no rules that forbid them from signing a lease on an apartment now that he’s a full-fledged Shinobi, even at twelve years old.
You celebrate your first night with a home-cooked meal, the best he’s ever tasted. Sure the Miso soup could have used a little bit more salt and the fish had been charred at the edges, but there was no one looming over him, taking away all the good pieces, ruining every conversation with drunken rambling.
“I will never be like my father.” He promises and you smile. It lights up your face, and transforms you into a being of light and lightness.
Kakuzu’s only twelve years old, but he’s seen death and he’s seen misery and he knows, without a shadow of a doubt, that if this is what love is, he will never get tired of it.
-
Kakuzu’s fifteen when he catches an illness that almost kills him.
Painful spasms shake him as he coughs, skin aflame with a fever that wants to devour him whole.
He barely remembers anything but finding himself with his head in your lap, your hands moving through his hair.
There’s a strange lightness to your voice as you talk to him. He can barely focus on your words but they sound like magic, like you’re summoning something from deep inside him.
When he wakes up from a deep slumber days later you look younger, somehow.
“What was that about?” He asks from the safety of his bed. One day, soon, he will buy a new mattress and a proper Couch, but it held out the last three years and he wants to have a bit more saved, feel a bit safer before he starts splurging again.
“What do you mean?” You’re at the stove, cooking something. He can smell ginger and citrus. You’re a terrible liar.
“You know what I mean.”
“No, Kakuzu, I don’t know what you mean.”
“Don’t bullshit me!” His temper comes and goes like a lightning strike, leaving him weak and shivering.
You stare back at him, eyes wide.
“I’m sorry.” He crawls out of bed. “I’m sorry.”
-
Kakuzu is fifteen when he finally understands the terms and conditions of this marriage.
Some Kekkai Genkais let you live longer than others.
On paper, it could be really just that simple. Your Kekkai Genkai lets you live on for years and years and years, your only threat the darkness of your mind.
“Many of us have killed themselves after they lost their partners.” You explain with his head in your lap again, your hand in his hair.
“Is that what happened to your mother?” You don’t answer his question but he can tell the truth from the way your eyes lose their light.
“But why me?” Kakuzu asks, two days later when you’ve curled up next to him after Dinner.
“I have two theories,” you explain softly. “Your Clan has brought forward many members with an exceptionally long lifespan.”
“And the other theory?”
“My Kekkai Genkai feeds on negative emotions. Misery. Sickness.” You fall silent. He doesn’t need you to keep going. He knows his family.
His father, who’s still not managed to drink himself to death. Whose temper is so famous that he’s often sent on three-man-missions alone.
His grandfather, who’s rumored to have killed his first wife over a burnt meal. Who’s still alive because he’s too stubborn to die, living off the roots of the great tree on the edge of Takigakure.
“I’ll never be like my father.” He promises you, again. You press a kiss to the back of his hand like you did when you met for the first time. It’s the only answer you give him.
-
Kakuzu is eighteen when his comrades make jokes about his wife.
They call her the beauty of Takigakure, say she’s even prettier because she never opens her mouth.
He gets cut from the mission roster for two weeks because he breaks one guys chin, and stabs the other guy in the thigh.
If you mind the blow to your wallet, you don’t show it. You’ve always been good at making a decent meal with the least amount of money spent.
But you sit him down when it happens again, a few months later.
“Stop it,” you tell him. “You’re becoming like your father.”
Fear engulfs him. He feels like he’s drowning, like that time he was six and his father threw him into the big cave, told him to swim or sink.
Warm lips press onto his, breathe oxygen into his lungs. He holds onto your waist to keep himself from going under once again.
As long as you’re there, as long as he has you, he will be able to keep afloat.
-
20.
Kakuzu turns twenty just two days before his daughter is born.
She’s got his eyes and your hair, his voice and your eerie stare.
You take one look at her and shake your head, sorrow washing over your features.
“What?” He asks, scared for his life. He’s never seen anything as precious as this little thing in your arms, that’s living and breathing and depending on him.
“She hasn’t got my Kekkai Genkai.” You say, the words like a knife to his heart.
“Are you sure?”
“One hundred percent.”
The nurse, an old woman that helps with births and the like for a few scraps of meat and a few coins on the side, pats your head.
“What a beautiful healthy thing you’ve got. Cherish it, will you?”
He can see the light dim in your eyes. He makes a promise to himself that even though it might flicker, he will make sure that it does not go out. Ever.
-
Kakuzu likes this little life of his.
He likes waking up to his daughter on his chest, gurgling and garbling, grabbing everything her little hands can get. He likes the sight of you feeding her, how her cheeks are plump and warm, her belly full of milk. He likes seeing you in the village unexpectedly, knowing that the bundle tied to your front is the living, breathing proof that you like him enough, that he might even love you.
It makes everything seem a little less burdensome. Passing his father in the streets, pretending not to hear the insults. Gong on missions that aren’t paid nearly enough for the danger they bring. The lack of good meat on the market, the hunger of the people in the streets.
Being able to come home to you, to your soft smiles and his daughters quiet mumbles.
He could live like this, he thinks. Forever, if necessary.
But his daughter is named Fū, after the soft winds that come and go.
When she’s just two, a sickness falls over the village. You do everything you can but just as the wind does not stay, neither does Fū.
-
Silence has fallen over his home.
Silence has fallen over Takigakure.
There are mornings when he hardly gets out of bed. There’s barely enough money in his pocket to afford the few scraps of meat that are offered at the market. But the beer is cheap.
If he drinks one, he can almost forget the way Fū looked in his arms. If he drinks five, he can almost forget she ever existed.
-
There’s a sharp pain in his left leg.
Kakuzu blinks himself awake and tries to pull away.
“Stop it.” Your voice is hard and cold.
“What-”
“You stepped into broken glass.” You tell him. “I’m sewing you back together.”
“Don’t.” He mutters meekly.
“Why not?”
“I don’t-” He stops. He doesn’t know.
“You promised, remember? You wouldn’t become like your father.”
“I’m not-”
“Kakuzu.” You move, your face now above his. You’ve turned younger again. Have you taken all his misery?
“You should just leave me.”
“I will never, ever leave you.” From you, it sounds more like a threat than a promise. He closes his eyes for a second. Fū blinks back at him. He opens his eyes again.
“What do you want?”
“For you to stop drinking.”
“Granted. What else?”
You falter. “I-”
He sits up and grabs your arms. You’re so close now he can taste your breath. It’s a good thing Fū never got your eyes. There’s a truth in them he will probably never get used to.
“I’ll tell you.” You promise. “Not today. But I will tell you.”
-
He does not touch a drop of alcohol ever again.
Six months later he’s one of the most renowned Shinobi of his village, not that it pays much.
Konoha is a steadily rising threat in the distance but at least the crop is good this year, leaving everyone well fed.
When he returns home from yet another mission, bruised and bloodied, loneliness hanging off him like a second skin, you take his hands and press it to your belly.
“I want to be a mother.” You tell him, eyes alight. “Again and again and again.”
Kakuzu almost shatters at the prospect.
He’s barely survived losing Fū. How can he go through that again?
But he owes you. For keeping him alive. For giving him Fū. For liking him enough.
He watches your belly grow and wishes for a way to know if this one will inherit your Kekkai Genkai or the lack of his.
Two days after his second child kicks for the first time, he’s called to the village leader.
The mission is as simple as it’s deadly. Kill Hashirama Senju.
He will not survive. He will not see his child grow up. But he will also not have to see it die.
Still, there’s something he can do about this. Milk the opportunities he’s got.
“What’s in it for me?” He asks, his nose lifted to the sky. “I have a family to feed.”
You’ve never clung to him as tightly as you do the day he leaves.
When you kiss him goodbye he can taste the words you’ll never say.
Don’t go. Don’t leave me behind. I love you.
He bends down and presses a kiss to the swell of your belly.
“Take care of your mother for me.”
-
You must have bewitched him. Cursed him in his sleep.
That’s the only reason he can find why he survives. It had been a suicide mission after all.
He returns home, glad to be alive. He’s stopped at the village entrance, dragged through different caves than those who’d lead him home. To you. To the child that’s about to be born.
Kakuzu misses all of it.
Instead, he’s sentenced to life in prison. And for what? For not dying on a mission that was meant to kill him?
He’s too proud to beg for forgiveness. But he asks for word on you.
They refuse him even that.
All that’s left is Fū, who visits him in his sleep. And you, whose voice he can hear in every waking hour. It’s the only thing keeping him from going insane.
-
The gurgling laughter alerts him.
It’s a sound that doesn’t belong in a prison.
“Shhhh….” A voice whispers. He knows that voice.
He calls your name, desperate to prove to himself that he hasn’t lost his mind.
You step out of the shadows into a lone ray of sunshine breaking through the cave walls. You’ve gotten a little older. Life up there must have been treating you well.
There’s a bundle tied to your front. You step closer, lift the bundle through the bars that have been made to keep out grown men, not a newborn baby.
“Her name is Mito,” you tell him quietly. “She’s got my Kekkai Genkai.”
Mito. To hope, to wish, to desire. It’s a fitting name for the little girl that’s peering up at him. She’s got your eyes, too.
“I’ve not been a good husband to you.” He tells you. “You should leave me. Find someone who’s a better fit for you.”
His words say one thing. His arms cradling Mito close another.
You reach one hand through the bars, cradle his cheek.
“I’m bound to you.” You state. “I will go nowhere without you.”
Kakuzu looks down at Mito, how she fits into his arms just as perfectly as Fū did.
“What life can I give you?” He asks the little girl. Her chubby fingers try to grab the marks on his hands. Prison tattoos.
Your thumb presses against his cheekbone. His eyes flicker up to yours. There’s a determination in them he’s never seen before.
“I’m bound to you.” You repeat. “Not to this village.”
-
Kakuzu feels strangely nostalgic as he leaves the city, four beating hearts and a forbidden Jutsu in his possession.
In a way, it’s just like when you fled his fathers house, took everything with you what you could use.
This time he’s not holding your hand through it.
This time you’re waiting on the other side of the cave system, the little ox wagon hidden from sight.
Mito sleeps soundly when he arrives, bloodied and proud.
She sleeps through everything. Her parents departure from the only place they ever called home. Her father's transformation through Earth Grudge Fear.
He briefly wonders if she notices a difference when she looks at him. If his little girl can tell the difference between the man he was before and the man he is now.
Because he can tell that it has changed you.
You grow older outside of Takigakure. There’s not enough Misery to sustain you. One morning he wakes up to crowfeet around your eyes. He finds a grey hair on your head a week later.
It brings a new fear to his life.
And fear brings out demons he didn’t know he carried.
The little house he built for you lies in ruins over a fit of anger.
Mito hides behind you, fear in her eyes that look so much like you.
He’s breathing hard, doesn’t even know why he flipped in the first place.
You rake a hand through his hair, pull him close until your heads touch.
He can taste your breath, can feel the misery lift off him.
“Tomorrow,” you tell him calmly, “You will leave. Go on a mission. Bring me back a son.”
-
50.
He’s fifty now.
Mito got married last year. He barely sees her anymore.
There’s a clear distaste in her voice when she speaks to him.
She looks at him like he looked at his father.
Does she promise her husband that she will never be like her father?
Does he believe her?
Because Kakuzu has seen what her temper can do.
She’s his daughter after all.
Yet, he believes in the power of names. He believes that she can be what she desires.
His youngest daughter is two months old. You named her Rin in his absence.
He’s missed her birth, Han’s too. But he held your hand through Yagura’s birth, pretended not to shatter on the inside when you took one look at the little boy.
“He’s not got the Kekkai Genkai.”
Still. Yagura might be his favorite child.
He’s a quiet boy. Likes to hide behind Utakata when no one’s looking for him.
Utakata is his oldest living child, found on that first mission that you sent him on.
“Bring me back a son,” you had said and he’d thought it nonsense until he stumbles over him, starving on the side of the road.
-
Kakuzu doesn’t mind coming home now. He doesn’t mind staying away either.
It’s a fragile thing, this thing between the two of you.
Should he call it love? He doesn’t have anything to compare it to.
He knows you’re never lonely, not with the gaggle of kids that run around your feet all day. He knows you won’t age, not when there’s almost always a kid that cries because it got hurt in one way or another. Not when there’s a growing village nearby, of farmers and their women, with a baker and a monk, all of them looking for someone to tell their sorrows to.
He knows his temper is better left outside his home, directed at people who have the misfortune of crossing him at the wrong time in the wrong place.
Yet he longs to be by your side just as much as you long to have him with you.
He can tell by the way you pull him close when he’s home. How there’s no one allowed to sleep in your bed but him.
When you kiss him, he feels like everything will turn out all right, eventually.
When you hold him close he can almost forget the way Fū looked the day she died.
When he’s got his arms around you, nose buried in your hair he can pretend he won’t die the day Yagura dies.
-
67.
Long before he turns seventy, Kakuzu understands how you feel.
He still looks barely past thirty. It might be Earth Grudge Fear or a Kekkai Genkai his Clan never bothered to explore, but you and he both have lived too many years on this cruel earth to still be this young.
He’s so tired.
Mito lost her first child to a famine.
Yagura lost an arm trying to save Utakata from a mob. So what if his son was born in the land of water? That does not take away his right to live!
There will never be an end to this madness, this sorrow.
There will never be an end to your life if you don’t make sure of it.
“Don’t die.” He tells you at night.
“Don’t die.” You tell him when you see him off.
There’s but a thin line separating the two of you from death and it’s the other's presence.
He cannot leave you behind. He will not leave you behind.
If this isn’t love, what is?
-
81.
Kakuzu’s barely over eighty when he meets Pain.
Bright orange hair and eyes as cold and determined as yours.
He pretends he’s not interested. But he is.
He’s long grown impatient of this world. Of its neverending cycle of pain and misery and sorrow. Why must his children die? Why must you suffer to stay alive? Why must he stay away from you to keep you safe yet come back to make sure you keep on living?
Mito barely looks at him now.
She’s learned by now that she can never outrun his temper. It’s etched into her bones.
Yagura has grown almost silent after the loss of yet another of his siblings.
He’s a grown man, hair turning grey, yet he still crawls into his father's lap when he’s home.
He wants to go back to the simple days.
If only he could turn back time.
If only he could hold Fū one more time.
-
91.
Hidan trails behind him.
There’s movement in the bushes.
Hidan reacts immediately, draws his scythe, curses loudly.
“Shut up.” Kakuzu gnarls. His hand shoots out, catches the perpetrator around the neck.
It’s a little girl, Kunai drawn. His mouth turns dry at the sight. Her eyes remind him of his little Rin, never mind the fact that Rin’s already got three kids of her own.
“Let me down!” She screams bloody murder at him. He drops her like she asked for. She runs away with bloody knees.
“Aw, why did you let her get away?” Hidan asks. “I could have sacrificed her.”
“Take grown-ups for that.” He huffs.
They rest in an inn that night.
Kakuzu thinks of you like he always does when he counts his money. He should check in with you soon, to make sure you’ve got enough for the next months. Winter has been hard this year and you’ve picked up another stray. He got a beetle plush at a fair last month, won it in one of those rare moments when Hidan’s occupied with something stupid. He knows Yagura is going to love it.
“We do offer some special fun if you’re interested.” The innkeeper's grin speaks volumes.
“What do you have in mind?” Kakuzu asks. He’ll kill the guy if he gives him a reason to.
And the guy is stupid enough to do so, dragging a filthy little girl out of the kitchen.
It’s the girl that tried to trap them in the woods earlier, clothes filthy from crawling around the kitchen.
“How much for her?” Kakuzu asks before he can stop himself. The girls' eyes remind him of Fū in this low light. The price is low, telling of the man’s desperation. Or maybe he’s just not a good businessman.
“I’ll take her.” He pays upfront and demands another serving of food, pushing it toward the girl who’s now sitting next to him, trying to crawl into herself.
“Eat.” He demands roughly. “You’re nothing but skin and bones.”
“I’ll let you have your fun then.” The innkeeper moves backward, a slimy grin distorting his face.
“Hidan,” Kakuzu’s tone lacks any emotion. “Take care of him. But be quiet about it.”
-
They leave the next morning a little richer - dead innkeepers don’t need any live savings - and with a child slowing them down.
“What’s that all about? You a pedophile?” Hidan eyes the kid curiously.
“Shut up.”
They turn away from the main road.
It’s less than two days over the mountains if they keep moving at this pace. Most of the time he’s got to carry the kid anyway.
“What’s your name?” Hidan asks the first night when they’re sharing a rabbit Kakuzu caught.
“Kushina.” The girl says before directing her eyes at Kakuzu. “Are you going to kill me?”
“Why should I?” He asks roughly. “There’s no meat on you.”
-
A rustling in the bushes gives him away.
Kakuzu stops short, hand outstretched to keep Hidan back.
“Yagura.” He calls. “I’ve already spotted you.”
Yagura steps out with a smile. His hair has turned almost completely grey yet his eyes are that of a child.
“Have you got me a present?” He asks.
“Why would I get you one? You still suck at hiding.”
Yagura just laughs, stills when he spots Kushina.
“Oh! You brought me a friend!” He crouches down in front of the girl, his remaining hand outstretched. “Hi. I’m Yagura. Do you want to meet my Mom? She likes children.”
Kushina looks up at Kakuzu as if asking for directions. He jerks his head, telling her to go.
Yagura whisks her away, never as quick on his feet as when he’s presented with a new sibling.
Hidan’s muttering something behind him.
Right. He shouldn’t have brought him here.
“Listen.” He mutters darkly. “You can turn around and go back to the village we came from. I’m going to meet you there in a week.”
“No way.” Hidan grins. “I want to see what you’ve got hidden in the woods. Some secret family?”
“So what?” Kakuzu gnarls. “If you dare to threaten them-”
Hidan falls silent, face strangely void of any emotion.
“Fine.” He huffs eventually. “But if you’re late, I’ll leave without you.” He turns back, coat swishing behind him as he moves quickly.
Kakuzu’s not sure what he did to be granted such a favor, but he’s not going to second guess it.
He rarely gets time off as it is.
-
Kushina’s already laughing freely with Yagura by the time he has to leave again.
All those years of misery forgotten in just a few days.
You pull him close, hug him tight.
You barely look older than thirty.
Most people tell you that life must have treated you well.
Kakuzu knows the truth.
“What’s your next target?” You ask.
“The main one in the land of fire.” He recalls. “The nine tails.”
“That’s the worst one, right?” You ask. There’s something scratching at the back of your throat.
“What’s wrong?”
“I’m so tired.” You tell him. “I’m so tired, Kakuzu. I want to go home.”
“I know.”
He kisses you, tries to tell you through touch what he cannot say with words.
I love you. Don’t leave me. I’m with you till the end.
“This is the last one.” You tell him when he pulls away. “You hear me? No more kids. No more missions.”
He nods. “I promise.” He says but he knows just as well as you do that his promises don’t mean much.
“I love you.” You whisper, for the first time in over eighty years.
You’ve never had to say it before.
Later, when it’s much too late for it, he’ll wonder why you said it.
He’ll regret he never said it back.

Love Language with the Boys!!
I feel like its quite self explanatory in the games but I wanted to explore more into it so
Here is the primary and secondary Love Languages the Boys have!
Derek Suarez
Primary  - Acts of Service!
This boy loves and needs someone to just make his life even a fraction easier
You need someone on your side boo? We got you!
Lets start the day
Are you a night owl and sleep in? Well, you made sure to make some snacks and prepare his workout drinks in the fridge the night before – gotta make sure muscle man is eating right and getting his protein
Early bird like he is? Sweet! If you both go to the gym you pack his bag for him as he is getting dressed, or maybe you’ll go ahead and make a quick breakfast for the two of you to get some energy before a work out
Not going to the gym? No issues! You give him a kiss on the cheek and hand him his protein shake as he leaves, then whilst he is gone you can start prepping a good after workout breakfast for him to come back to
Has he got work or meetings he needs to go to afterwards? You could make sure his clothes are ready to go, or maybe the papers he was reading through the night before are packed away into his bag
You’ve got the day off work? Maybe we plan a nice dinner surprise with his favourite meal
Or you order in cause it’s a Friday and its game night (GO TEAM SUAREZ) and you both aren’t getting much sleep that night
Oh you noticed his favourite protein powder is running out? Better put an order in and top it up before he notices (of course he notices, he is absolutely touched!)
Poor boy has gotten sick? You just know he doesn’t want to let that slow him down
Guess what you are doing?
You are one step away from strapping him down to that bed (kinky, but not really HE IS SICK) but he finally relents, so you get to nurse him now
Mama Suarez has told you his favourite go to home remedies to get better, and you make it all! Tea, soups, hot chocolate, you name it
He is going to know what it means to be taken care of
You have Dereks Day! But its not once a year, its once a month
He needs to have one day every 30 days where its just about him and letting him let loose
The Boardwalk is always a winner, but sometimes its just a picnic, or go to the water park, or go to the movies. Whatever he wants to do, its getting done
Secondary – Words of Affirmation!
I swear this man, LIKE ALL THE OTHERS, doesn’t understand when we compliment him or anything
So guess what guys
Daily Affirmation Texts
He really needs these ones
Just a reminder of how amazing he is, that he is kicking goals (pun intended)
That we are so happy to be with him
Just remind him that he matters, because baby, you really do!
Cove Holden
Primary – Quality Time!
So we know how much Cove loves just spending time with us
Its his favourite hobby, pastime, memory, you name it
Oh our favourite resident merman has a new fish?
You are sitting down and letting that man gush about it, telling you all about its species and what the care is going to be for it
You don’t even have to say anything, just sitting there and listening to him is all that matters
Hard day at work?
He just needs to vent to you, same thing. You could even provide tips (im talking like, hit them in the kneecaps advice) to him just to get him to smile and laugh about it
Some think that Quality Time means you need to give each other attention all the time, but not for you two
All he wants is to be in your presence, and you don’t even have to be doing the same thing
You guys have aced Parallel Play
The most important thing is making sure you are within each others vision and you Gucci
He is reading, you could be watching something on your phone
He is cleaning the fish tank, you could be there just listening to music and maybe doing a hobby of your own
He just wants your presence
BE IN HIS PRESENCE
Any time away is torture to him, every Step in the game literally explains that
Secondary – Gift Giving!
Remember how excited he gets over the orange shell? The poppy? The fudges? The windchime?
This man is so ecstatic that you thought of him WHEN HE WASN’T EVEN THERE
And you are giving him something that he would like, and you did it unprompted
Prepare for waterworks
Listen, sometimes you just need to leave it on his pillow to come back to
You got up earlier than him (shocker that one) cause of work, so as you are quietly bustling around getting ready, you leave him a little letter or a present on the pillow next to him
When he finally wakes up and sees it, there are tears, and then there is an urgent call coming your way
Because of course he needs to thank you for it!
Just be prepared that you will get gifts too. That’s his way of showing his love and care too
Baxter Ward
Primary – Physical Touch!
Look, I swear this one is so obvious, but in case it isn’t I will go into HEAVY DETAIL OF WHAT HE LIKES
See he loves being in your presence all the time, but it simply isn’t enough
He needs some part of him touching you, even in a minute way, he just needs it
Driving? You are holding hands, this is a rule
Walking? Holding hands or he has your arm draped on his all gentlemanly like
Sitting together at a function? Somehow you have contact
You could be holding each others hand on the table
Or simply linking fingers, even just the pinky finger (YOU MJST BE TOUCHING)
Linked ankles underneath the table
Pressed up next to each other so your thighs or shoulders are touching whilst talking to others
Home alone and you are sitting on the couch together?
Position A: he is laying his head in your lap, you will brush your fingers through his hair that is the LAW
You could always give him a small head massage, he would love you even more for it
Position B: leaning against each other, watching a movie, he will have his arm wrapped around you and holding you in close, you could hold his hand as well
Position C: You are lying on him. Oh he will be brushing you hair, but say you don’t like that, he is content holding you hand instead
Oh this man is a sucker for hand holding (have you read anything above)
But you know what would make him weak?
Giving him a hand massage. Or just caressing his hand, feeling his fingers, brushing them across his palm. The lot of it
Can say the same about his neck and head; you could just be caressing him, admiring him and his skin and softness and he would 100% be lulled to sleep by it
Or, if you do it the right way, something else entirely would be on the menu (play prawn-hu- gets shot)
He is making dinner for you? Gently hug him from behind
Come home from work? A hug and a kiss is required for this tired man
Is there music playing? Oh a dance is required. Doesn’t have to be fancy, just a chance to hold onto you and sway is enough for him
Kisses – lord this man would accept a kiss any where
Hands, cheeks, chin, nose, shoulders, legs (alright we need to get back on track)
But forehead touches are supreme
Sharing a hug, foreheads pressed together, just being in each other space?
His heart couldn’t be more full
Bedtimes? You would consider yourself lucky if you can untangle yourself from him
You are 100% wrapped up in a Baxter Burrito and you aren’t escaping
But if that’s not your thing, don’t worry he is respectful of that
At this point as long as he can feel your body heat and movement in the bed, he will be content
After all he gets all the touches during the waking hours
Secondary – I Feel like this is almost two, cause He does need Words of Affirmation even though he doesn’t believe in it half the time, but also Quality Time is a big hitter for him...
With Baxter, because he is emotionally stunted, there is only so far you can provide him in words of affirmation before he just doesn’t listen anymore
So these ones need to happen sporadically, and during very important moments
Like when he is really beating himself up, rather than tell him he is wrong, you just need to flip the conversation to be positive
Sometimes you do just need to give him time to process what has happened and let him come back to you to talk, and that’s when you can gently re-affirm the positives with him
Quality Time just links in with Physical Touch
He loves being with you, and just plain talking with you
If you are long distance, he just wants to make every moment count, over the phone or in person
And if you do that back to him, well then you are just the more remarkable person ever
Don’t need to be doing anything fancy, voice calling is just fine
Going for a walk and chatting
Trying a new restaurant when you are both together again
DANCING COME ON
Thank you for reading my TED talk.
A small part of me is sad that Coves is so little, but honestly mans gets so much screen time, the other boys deserve a chance to shine!
cough I do not have a favourite cough

the inn is a metaphor
They are terrible at running an inn.
In the beginning.
They don’t know the first goddamn thing about the hospitality industry. Or carpentry, plumbing, invoicing, logistics. Anything, really. They know nothing.
They learn.
There’s a lot of trial, even more error. But by the first time the Revenge returns for a visit they have something. A roof that doesn’t leak. Un-rotted floorboards. Nooks and crannies free from feral beasts of any kind. Zero spiders. Twin armchairs in front of the fire and a bed just big enough for the two of them. It’s a start.
The Revenge comes bearing gifts. Wee John has knitted them some afghans and Frenchie sewed an enormous quilt, which takes pride of place on the bed. They’ve towed in another ship as well, a wreck whose timber they all pitch in to rebuild into an extension and some outbuildings. Roach helps them plant a kitchen garden and a medicinal one.
Jackie gives them business advice and contacts for her old suppliers. Lucius has a guestbook for them, with marginalia he drew himself. Some of it at least is appropriate for guests to see. The rest…
“Are you planning to have guests who’ll faint at the sight of a cock?” Lucius inquires innocently. “Because I’ll be honest with you, that seems unlikely.”
The idea of guests of any kind is still a long way off, but they’re getting there. They can envision it now, and not just as a wild fantasy they spin each other at night as they lie entwined with sweat cooling on their skin. They have actual plans, concrete ones, and a decent understanding of how to realise them.
They get to work.
Jackie’s contacts prove invaluable. Soon they have a liquor supplier, deals with local butchers, bakers, candlestick-makers, and even a reliable fisherman to give them first dibs on his haul.
(It’s not Pop-Pop.)
A few survivors of Zheng’s old crew hire on as housekeeping and kitchen staff. The soup is phenomenal. Ed learns how to make it and how to cook a fish without burning it. They have fresh-smelling towels, expertly folded. They have guest rooms, and soon they have guests.
It’s an adjustment, having new people in their space. Some of the guests are gawkers, eager for a piece of Blackbeard and the Gentleman Pirate. They reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, namely those particular assholes. But other guests are much more pleasant. Locals looking for a bit of a mini-break, people from nearby islands wanting a getaway, even the occasional European who doesn’t know who they are.
The guests are mostly happy with their stay. There’s excellent soup and decent fish, fresh linens and great views. The walls could be a bit thicker, perhaps, for everyone’s comfort, but the hosts are always most apologetic in the morning and offer copious marmalade in exchange for good reviews.
The Revenge returns frequently, each time with some new trinkets and finery for their former co-captains. In exchange, they host bonfires on the beach with music and dancing and wine, until they all fall asleep together in a pile, so like the old days on the ship that Stede watches them in the soft light of the embers with tears in his eyes.
“All right, love?” Ed asks him. He slips an arm around Stede’s waist. Stede tugs him in until Ed’s head is nestled against his shoulder. He strokes Ed’s hair. Ed sighs and snuggles closer.
“I’m all right,” Stede says. “A bit nostalgic is all.”
“You miss it.”
“I miss the crew. I wish they could visit more often. I suppose I miss the sea, though of course it’s right there in front of us. But I’m happy, Ed. I have no regrets.”
“Really?” The whisper of doubt in Ed’s voice has Stede pulling back to look down at his dear face.
“Yes really! Do you doubt it?”
“Kind of.” Ed shrugs. “It’s easier for me, I think. I was ready to be done with it, Stede. Desperate to do anything else but be Blackbeard. But you—you had just got started. You could be out there now with the crew, pirating away. You could be famous. You could—”
“Ed Teach, you listen to me.” Stede’s got his Captain Voice on now and the sound of it has Ed’s stomach turning cartwheels, his dick leaping to attention. “I don’t care about any of that. I only wanted to be a pirate for the freedom. To escape my old life. But I have a life now that I would never want to escape. Do you know why?”
Ed shakes his head.
“Because I chose it. I chose you. I love you and I would be happy anywhere you were.” He cups Ed’s cheek in his palm and kisses his forehead, his nose, his lips. Ed moans and presses closer but Stede pulls back, just far enough to whisper, “You make Stede happy.”
They spend that night alone in the inn, no guests, far enough from the beach that when they serve breakfast to the crew the next morning not a single smirk or smart remark is sent their way.
They wave goodbye to their friends that evening and stand together on their porch to watch the ship sail off into the sunset. Stede turns to Ed with a smile. “New guests checking in tomorrow,” he says. “We should probably fix the creak in the door hinge of Room 1.”
“I’ll do it,” says Ed, “if you polish the candlesticks. Fuckin’ polish makes my nose itch.”
“Deal,” says Stede. He turns to head inside. “What’ll we have for dinner?”
“Got a nice turbot we could roast.”
“Ooh, fab.”
The inn’s front door closes behind them.
It’s still a bit rickety, their inn. It’s old, it creaks, it springs leaks from time to time. It’s hard work, keeping it going. But they are devoted to the task. Whatever it takes, they will see their inn thrive.
It’s what makes them happy.
