if you wrote a fic based on del water gap’s perfume what would it be like! :)

if i wrote a fic based on perfume, let me tell u i would feel completely unstoppable as a human being. just putting that out there first bc a) song-fics are not my forte and b) neither is actually Finishing And Posting Ideas. but this would also be an incredibly fun challenge bc perfume has that kind of undefined, plot-less vibe to it that really makes me Consider Scenes and Characters, but not with any clear outline... they're just there. and im observing. making extensive notes and metaphors.

so basically it would be a bit of a character study, a bit of an emotion/memory fueled plot-line! i really love the idea of 'falling back with an old friend' and the scene laid out in the first verse - playing pool in the dive bar, the details of faded blue jeans - is so clear in my mind, i would loveee to write this out with some carcar twists to it <3
