Oh my god Nonny! Thank you! After a harrowing week this was such a joy to see. It truly has been an entire year since the movie premiered where I am. It’s crazy! 

To be honest this canoe would have sunk loooooonng ago if it weren’t for all the lovely anons leaving asks or just sharing their thoughts on this wonderful pairing. So thank you, thank you, for the support and encouragement! 

I also HAVE to highlight the content creators for this pairing cause really…we would be nowhere without shippers producing such awesome content. It’s been said before, we are a small house but a proud one. With the great writers we have it’s really something. Strordo is small but it hit the jackpot when it came to quality. 

These are just a handful of writers that have made an impact for me personally, not just as fans but also friends as I consider them now. If anything good came from shipping this pairing it’s that it lead me to meet these awesome folks.

Flyingwithfeatherlesswings and her pioneer fic “A Different Kind of Destiny” set me on a course into the massive world of omegaverse, of which I fear I’ll forever be addicted to. This was the first long fic for strordo, as well as the first omegaverse fic to my knowledge. I still go back to read it from time to time when I need a creativity boost.  

Meowrails and his fic “Building Hopeful Bridges on a Hopeful Sea”  should be celebrated. I’ve said this countless times before and I’ll say it again and a-fucking-gain. Characterization at this level doesn’t come often in any fandom. The quality is top rate and honestly tons better than most published novels I’ve read. And I’ve gone through a lot. 

Zenkitty555 holds the title of content queen for me. 31 Strordo fics to her name amassing to 275,872 words! Holy fuck. Out of the many stories she graced the fandom with, her A Bonding series holds a super soft spot in my heart. It’s the first omega Karl fic, and if you know anything about me…I fucking love omega Karl, and this fic definitely helped jumpstart that love for me. Aside from omega Karl though, that series has so much good material to drool over. Be warned though…I legit have gotten heartburn and insomnia after reading some of her fics. They really should come with a health warning. 

Banbiv. No words really. This is Only the Beginning had me hooked all throughout. I devoured each update with crazy fervor. Another work that sticks out in my mind is Bundle of Joy. I adore this story so much and if we never get that DS sequel then I’m just gonna headcanon this story as the film that could have been, mpreg and all. Also, no words can express how much I absolutely value her as a friend. Thanks for being incredibly awesome and for enduring all the fic craziness I drown you in ^^

And as I said, these are just samples of a much larger treasure trove. These writers and fics I mentioned are just my personal highlights that I keep coming back to. If it weren’t for these folks and their content this blog, and the canoe, would not stay on course. There would be no mimi either cause a lot the fuel for my own works came out of inspiration from theirs. So please check them out, be kind, and enjoy the showcase of talent.
