I am SO happy and sad for them at the same time. There was one time when she said “I’m happy” all quiet and adorable like and my heart melted. They are so in love it’s incredible.

Donna's Adoption Day is in January. Which is why i've been featuring adopted dogs this month. Happt to end this month featuring a dog for whom January is a special month too. This is the story of Jamie @seejamiesee "January is a very special month for Jamie. She is estimated to be borned in January; she had to be given up by her first family in January and to readapt to a new family in the same month! Here's some #throwback to the first few moments we had with each other since January 2017: (1) When she first came to us, she hid under our dining table and growled when we tried to get her out of there. (2) Her other favourite hiding place was underneath our tv console. (3) For the first week, she also went hiding under our toilet cabinet and we had to try different ways to coax her out, including leaving trail of kibbles. (4) She became skinnier with us because she was too afraid to eat. (5) She was also very unwilling to take wefies with us. Look at her face! (6) The kind of joy that she gave us when she eventually accepted us is indescribable. (7) She entrusted her world to us, including her fashion. ( (8) This is her happy sandy face, after she rolled herself silly on the beach. ( (9) And time flies, it's our one year anniversary together as a family and also her birth month! (She looked very unhappy here because she couldn't wait to eat her birthday 'cake') Adopting a rescued dog may seem purely like a good deed by the humans. But in reality, the humans gained more than the dog. Thank you, Jamie, for letting us know that we can be patient if we want to (we will continue to work on your toilet training and fear) and teaching us the true meaning of forgive and forget (like how we always scold you and the next minute you are already wagging your tail at us). Thank you for the joy and happiness that you brought to the family. And of course, thank you for accepting us as part of your world.
