the other day, when i was exhausted, z cooked fried rice for dinner. this was the first time ever that he's cooked for me over the span of 2.5 years that i've known him. it was super dayum yummm!! (hehehhe) and wow what an achievement! . . then when it was time to clean up, i headed to the stove top and 🙄😰 well, we've all gotta start somewhere! #happilimathome #humblebeginings

rainy gloomy afternoon #makesmunssohappy!! . . . couple of days ago, something traumatic happened at work that i couldn't help but to keep thinking about the "should have" and "what ifs". i was stressed to the core, almost wanted to quit and i knew i had to have a little debrief with someone. thanks to some wise counsel and prayers from 2 of my closest medical friends, i'm much MUCH better. thank you @hotato and @janetleungtingting !! . . . Janet reminded me of one really important thing that i haven't done in the longest time - to do something that "makesmunssohappy". in melbourne it was easy and cheap to find those things - walk in the park, go for coffee dates, watch and fall asleep over a movie at home, chats over desserts, babysit close friends' bub and the list goes on. and immediately after janet pointed out that, i realized i haven't taken time out to do something that i love in a long while. and so literally just then, as it rained, z and i made a little blanket fort in our living room and we (i) listened to rain. he fell asleep in split seconds whilst i wiggled my toes, breathing in the humidity and allowed the melodies of the rain to serenade me. all was still. all was peaceful. and all is good. . . . it is well with my soul. #quietmomentswithdaddyGod #happilimathome

he bought flowers. i made milo. we've moved into our new home! . . . ever since we got married, things had just been going at full speed. there had been so many things happening - the good the bad and the ugly and im trying to capture them and remember the moments and the lessons we've learnt along the way. time is really not forgiving and juggling it ain't most fun. nonetheless, i'm so grateful we have each other to go through the big and the small things in life. and we have a home, in and with each other x #makesmunssohappy #happilimathome
