you strapped yujin into her carseat, deciding to sit next to her while niki sits in the front. the instrument-like toy shook with every bump the car drove over.

“hey are you performing beautiful monster?” he asks, turning around to face you.

“yeah i think so, and you’re performing future perfect?” he nods, skipping the song that started playing, the car automatically played the song you added to the queue. the soft melody soon played over your voices, turning the car silent, yujin speaking gibberish every so often with you responding, yujin grabs your pinkie, and you let her. smiling at her every so often.

niki secretly took a photo of you, not wanting to be relentlessly teased by you. he took his phone back and smiled, closing the app and opening another.

the car ride soon came to an end, as you exited the car, and placing yujin in her stroller, you quickly pushed the stroller to avoid any dispatch members around as niki holds open the door for you. you thank him and you walk in together.

“hey, what time is your stage?” you ask, turning to make eye contact.

“uh- i think like, one-thirty? or around that.”

you nod in acknowledgement, “mine's at twelve so i’ll take yujin to my dressing room then you come take her at eleven-thirty okay?”

he nods, as you wave goodbye heading your separate ways.

you enter your dressing room spotting sumin and sieun talking to each other. they turn to face you, eyes brightening as they run to greet yujin.

“wow… no hi for me?” you ask in disbelief.

“hi y/n,” sieun says, not sparing a glance at you.

“okay i see how it is.” you roll your eyes, sitting in your seat, as the make up artist rushes over to start on your face.

soon, the time turns to 11:25, niki would be here soon. oh what if he thinks your outfit is ugly? wait he won’t do that, he’s not mean like that. wait- what are you even talking about?

knocks could be heard through the room, you push the stroller where yujin had been peacefully sleeping to the door, opening it to reveal niki, with a slightly shorter man next to him.

he starts, “hi y/n” he awkwardly waves, the other man introduces himself, as sunghoon.

“hello niki and sunghoon! here,” you bring yujin over, “her toys should be in the pouch! and make sure to feed her okay? her food should be in here.” you tap the remaining pocket.

he nods as the other man takes the stroller.

“hey aren’t you the music bank mc?” you ask curiously.

“yup, i’m so cool aren’t i?”

“right… let’s go hyung!” niki quickly answers, pushing the both of them away.

“bye y/n, i’ll see you later? sadly.” he waves pushing sunghoon and yujin away.

he sees you rolling your eyes and shutting the door.
