�� maaaaannn I love the way Eddie plays Dr. Gideon I. Love. It. He makes him absurdly entertaining.

♦ omg I’d forgotten just how unpleasant and plain rude they’d made Chilton from the beginning lol. No but, on a more serios note I can see how Chilton always gets the short end of the stick later. From the first second he’s so self-absorbed, preoccupied with seeming intelligent but really always being just this side of the point. Will would probably says he too is prone to ‘appalling failures’ of imagination. There’s a suggestion in 1x06 that he might talk about Gideon the way he does because of a hidden agenda, so it’d be convenient for him to simplify the matter. But really, for someone who’s supposed to be good at studying and understanding ‘deviant’ minds, he already sounds terribly uncreative and shortsighted when he addresses Will.

♦ I remember being too disgusted around ep 04-05 to eat while I was watching on the first round, now I couldn’t stop laughing at the montage of Hannibal going through his Rude People rolodex and matching them with a recipe from his folder 😂😂

♦ aaah. For the first time we’re introduced to the concept of Hannibal feeling lonely and genuinely desiring a friend. My goddess that I worship and wife, living legend Bedelia Du Maurier, mantains it’s because Hannibal won’t let anyone see whoever he is behind the person suit/human veil, too. HMMM YES INTERESTING. BRING. ME. THAT. JUICE.
