The environmentalist in me: “Please don’t light tire fires people, it’s straight up one of the single worst things you can send into the atmosphere!”
The anarchist in me: “well yes, BUT…..”
...plus, for the ones you don't use for incendiary and/or blockade purposes, tire swings are fun.

i, a communist, want to scream at everyone who calls Biden a communist. like jesus christ you could be further from the truth calling like Ted Cruz or whatever one, but all this shitty ass propaganda calling democrats communists is really started getting to me.
here's a handy tip to figure out if a politician is communist or not: are they calling for the proletariat to take full control to become a dictatorship of the proletariat? if no, they're not a fucking commie. universal healthcare is not communism, universal basic income is not communism, universal housing is not communism. gun control sure as shit ain't communist, Marx wanted us armed. they're aspects of communism, but a politician calling for welfare is not a communist. if anything they're a social democrat, maybe a socialist.
i don't want to gatekeep communism though, all those things i said individually aren't communism can certainly be communist. except gun control. that's never communist, only fascist. also of course everyone can be a communist, unless you're pushing for things that fundamentally disrupt what communism is, like capitalism or fascism. you can be a libertarian and commumist though, because anarchy and communism go together like peanut butter and jelly.
jesus, if you told me a year ago i'd be an anarchist i'd have laughed in your face and gone on a triad about why anarchy is bad. i still think anarchy is impossible in my lifetime, but i'd definitely like for us as a species to move towards it. not because "gobment bad", but because it's an end goal of government. give people the rights to live how they want and survive without panicking over rent and food, and i bet people would just be nicer to each other, we wouldn't have a need to regulate the shit out of jobs or companies fucking the planet. i mean, we still would, it would just be a different kind of regulation, called trade unions shoving their boots up the asses of the companies fucking the planet. for now though, the invisible hand of the government is needed to prevent corporations from doing stupid shit.
also stop being anti-political. refusing to participate is arguably worse than voting fascist, because you have the ability to stop them, but choose not too. i've been wanting to have this conversation with my cis friends who don't vote because they don't believe in voting for the "lesser evil", which really made me want to slap them.
i'm tired and wish things could be good, but unfortunately we live in a world with evangelicals who want to force everyone to submit to their will. i refuse to say God's will because Jewish folks (minus some zionists, and more conservative sects) aren't forcing me in the closet. shit even my parents' protestant denomination is queer friendly. religion isn't the issue (i'm athiest btw), it's allowing religious leaders to form high control groups to grift money from people. i don't give a fuck what you believe happens after death, or if you believe there's a dude in space somewhere who created us. none of that matters. it only matters when you try to force those beliefs on others with the threat of violence or "disassociation".
i have a lot of thoughts right now, and i haven't had an outlet to scream into the void since i stopped using twitter and facebook.
