I absolutely love these designs! and was just wondering what inspired them? I'm curious of what the plot's about, since everyone's species swapped

Last but not least, inspirations. hooo boy this is a doozy

Firstly i wanna say i was inspired to make a comic specifically because of older ut comic dubs (Christmas party, handplates, Aftertale, etc) along with Scott Pilgrim and @akanemnon’s Twin Runes comic! (check them out i love twin runes a lot!!!)

The idea for the au is really just “What if the humans were monsters and the monsters were humans?” or, also “what if the (former) monsters were on the surface and the (former) humans were underground?” Classic Overtale plot!

Going in order, starting with AXIS, he’s actually one of the newest designs! i made him in my german class last week („•v•„U ) I wanted Axis to have a design change but remain a robot, maybe being more humanoid due to being made by a human! Changed his pipes and light bulb into what resembles hair and his wheel into roller blades!

Next up, Ceroba! i’ll be honest, i really don’t like Cerobas canon design that much. Love the colors but the short skirt and boots are not it, especially if she’s intended to be a more traditional japanese character. Like she’s not a magical girl, she’s in her 30’s?? Anywho, i made her prominently orange instead of pink (again, magical girl) along with lightening natural hair due to age and stress!

Clover. Clover Clover Clover!!! what do i even say about this precious little pup?! :3

I guess i could start with them being a Kitsune, of course, being switched with the Ketsukanes. Seeing as Ceroba is a mother and is often portrayed as taking a motherly role to clover, i figured a kitsune would fit them nicely! Along with being a cute, fun to draw, and curious troublemaker! I always like to remind myself that Clover’s just a kid.

Next up, Star! or, in this au, Stanley Sterling, the performative sheriff of a humble little town! i decided to switch up his poncho a little, for the sake of changing his design, gave him chaps (i like to call em pantaloons hoohoo!) and teal tassels for days! He’d prolly know more about cowboys than canon Starlo because, yknow, he lives on the surface!

Ah Martlet, or now, Marlette! but most just call her Marley. She has ~4 different outfits planned, a cozy, aviator style one for “Snowdin”, a sleeveless shirt with her flannel round her waist and a bandana for “the Dunes” and that flannel over her shoulders for “New Home”! along with a tee and pj’s for the epilogue. Her outfit is easy to manipulate so it only stays the same so often. Also, talon boots! ;]

And Dalv! Poor fella stayed a monster for the plot 😿 but i changed his design so he’s got a jacket similar to the one he has in Snowdin in uty but a whole lot smaller lol, along with a Batty pendant, a red vest and shoes and carved down horns! poor fella :(

So, remember when I promised I’d go full Samuel L. Jackson a few days ago?

And then promptly forgot about it?

Weeeeell, I had stuff going on IRL. Grade was funky, a misunderstanding was had, it’s all cleared up now. 

Also making a theory diagram for submission. Hopefully I won’t add too much stuff and make it hard to read.

Now, I’m not entirely caught up on handplates, I just got up to the point where Gaster’s brothers died and the part where Gaster seemed impressed and smiled at Sans and Papyrus.

Soooo this roast is based on that. It’s pretty much outdated depending on what the fuck happened since i last caught up on it. 

anyway, after this i’m making a theory diagram to submit to AFAC. Hopefully it gets posted. Bit nuts, even for me. It’s about that prophecy thing. 

YOU! DENSE! MOTHERFUCKER!

I mean, I know you were the royal scientist but you CLEARLY weren’t thinking! Turning children, YOUR OWN MOTHER FUCKING CHILDREN, into WEAPONS?! DOES SOME KIND OF MOTHERFUCKING ECTO-BRAIN EVEN EXIST IN THAT EMPTY MOTHER FUCKING SKULL OF YOURS?!  

Boo fucking hoo, my brothers are dead from fighting in a war, A war I begged them not to fight, and now i’m blaming my self. I know, LET’S CUT HOLES IN MY FUCKING HANDS LIKE I’M JESUS AND USE THOSE PARTS TO MAKE CLONES OF MYSELF! And THEN, I’ll treat those MOTHER FUCKING kid clones, like MOTHER FUCKING weapons, rather than MOTHER FUCKING KIDS! That’s sounds like a TOOOOOOTALLY rational mother fucking decision to make.

I’d be sorry your brothers died if it weren’t for the fact, that you acted on you grief in the worst way possible. How can someone sooo smart, do something sooo stupid?! I mean, I made a few mistakes, but I don’t DRILL FUCKING HOLES IN MY HAND like SOME certain idiot!

Hell, We got a goopy german speaking skeleton in the void, who i’m willing to bet, only wants to remain in the void only so his ex wouldn’t remember him and live her new life with her, literally hot, husband. I'm not even that socialble or romantic at all and I could tell that’s a dumb decision on his part because that’s not even what his Ex would want at all, but you know what? I bet he has the sense not to drill holes in his MOTHER FUCKING HANDS in an emotionally damaged idiotic attempt to make weaponized clones of himself because his own brothers died. 

And for the love of FUCK dude. Stop, being, fucking, evil. you obviously suck at it. You suck at this whole evil scientist thing. Like, reeeeeeeeally bad. You have the capability to be good. You have the capability of loving them. Just stop being a single-minded idiot for once in your despair ridden life, and act like a father to them. You fucking love them, you’re impressed by Sans’ talents, you’re touched by Papyrus’ genuine kindness. Just, fucking, stop. You’re like the Tsundere father figure version of Darth Mother Fucking Vader.
