I wasn't to do as much Christmas knitting this year as I have in previous years, but I'm quite pleased with what I did make! The hood I made for @theinvulnerabletide was more complicated than I initially thought it would be, but it was worth it in the end.

ough these colors i want to eat this yarn!!!!!!!!!

square 1: the middle flower is a slightly changed beginning of the Vintage Lily Square by Ilse Beulens and Lina Kittel, but after the 7th round or so i started doing my own stuff. border is as per usual Splendid Serendipity. yarn is Lana Grossa Cotonella…. I think this is Color 002, with some of 007? I had two or three small balls of left over yarn that i managed to match together really well, so I am not entirely sure. I actually wanted to dye this square before i got to the border, because the colors reminded me of pastel baby clothes and one thing i don’t want for my blanket is pastel baby vibes lmao. but the dark magenta ties them together really well!

square 2: my own bullshit! no pattern used for this! The shell rings are slightly concavely raised up which is a really cool effect in person, but means they look a lil wonky in pictures. Yarn is entirely Lana Grossa Cotonella 006, and apart from a tiny rough color change on the border it worked out nearly perfectly. I looove the green and orange together, this might be my new favorite color of this yarn!

So I finally gave in the temptation of Jujutsu No Kaisen and honestly, I’m liking it a lot

I’m still not familiar with the character so the doodles might be a little off, but either way, hope it’s close to his glory!

One more thing, everyone love his eyes his eyes, yes yes they’re gorgeous yes yes we all know but nobody talks about how HARD THEY ARE TO DRAW LIKE WTF THOSE WHITE LASHES ARE SO FCKING HARD TO SKETCH IN BLACK AND WHITE

So right before lunch my grandma pulled me aside and said that she had found this dress from when she was 18 that I could try on and keep if I liked it. And she showed it to me and it was like this gorgerous handmade black velevet 60's dress and then I tried it on and it just fitted SO WELL and, nothing I guess I found my 18th birthday dress.

I would literally kill a man right now for some pistachio macarons. Or Italian ice cream. Feed me amir with the expensive shit I can't afford!

Please you know he shows up to every date with macrons flown in same day from Laudrès Paris or he was in Milan recently and insists on taking you for a weekend trip so you can try the honey Gelato he had while he was there. Amir loves giving ludicrously extravagant gifts but he especially loves watching you sample special luxe snacks so you're only enabling him 😙

The continuation of Colorful Bloom

It was a small project, but it pushed me get out of my comfort zone, to finish it, to color it, and it came out so beautiful in my eyes. I love the little moral I added as well, you can visualize the colourful hand as God or as Life, whichever makes you comfortable.

This little book have so much meaning to me, and I hope it has for you too

Apparently it was a sewing weekend. I almost finished a shirt for my brother, but I abandoned it today in favour of trying to sew shorts. I even succeeded.

The pattern I used takes into account different body shapes. In my case, it is the extremum where my waist is more than two sizes smaller than my hips at the widest point - meaning I don't own high-waist fitting torusers becuse it is impossible to buy such trousers for me.

I wanted to test the pattern on something easy, so I picked the simplest version+pockets. I used viscose leftovers I had from making a skirt two years ago.

Now I have shorts that fit perfectly at the waist and shorts with pockets big enough to fit a smartphone inside. Purrfect.
