A few weeks back I met with a local boutique owner about becoming their new fiber artist and getting a variety of my handmades in their shop for the holidays. I sewed my very first wearable item - a winter headband! 😋 (and of course, I had to use the filter with sparkles - because glitter!) . I've made plushies, pillows and purses before but never anything wearable. I wanted to try something different! . There are so many mistakes and I have so much to learn, but I'm so excited! And even though it's all uneven and funky, I'll wear it proud! 🥳 . . I noticed that sewing straight lines with fleece is VERY different from sewing plushie (curved) patterns! Does anyone have any tips for the best stitch sizes and tension levels for fleece? And how to avoid pulling?
