Friendly Reminder:
Don’t overlook knitting patterns on the inside of yarn labels. Many of them offer quick, fulfilling projects that become great grab-alongs for those chilly mornings of early Spring 🍃Autumn 🍂, or even Winter ❄️ if you’re using worsted weight. This cowl pattern was fully printed within a Caron Simply Soft label. It was like a surprise gift with purchase! I believe I knitted this within 3 days, spending about an hour or two during each session. My only regret is not selecting a lighter grey yarn color. There are beautiful textures in this pattern that do not quite show up as nicely on the yarn I’ve chosen here, which is ‘Smokey Mountains’ by Lion Brand.

Maybe you didn’t get lucky with your Caron labels. Worry not. Here is the link to download this stylish (and free!) pattern:

Hello, my name is Keisha.
I have been knitting for 14 years as of today. I learned to knit from a knitting instructions manual that I picked up in a bookstore. For nostalgia’s sake, I must include that it came with a cd-rom. I will never forget the excitement I felt learning to knit! At times, I would knit long swatches without a project in mind, just to practice various stitches, patterns, and techniques. It also helped me understand which types of yarns and needles I most preferred. Knitting is a beautiful expression, a gift that gives in more than one way, to yourself and to others. This is why I love sharing in this amazing craft. Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you relish what I have to offer here. There is more to come.
