Den. hancockii takehime ｢竹姫｣

So I’m calling this new guy “little conspiracy” until it flowers. As you can see the tag says it’s a dendrobium hancockii (himetakeha 姫���葉) which looks like a tiny bamboo dendroium with bright plastic-like yellow flowers:

However, there’s another website that has a den. moniliforme 竹姫 with this flower photo, but sadly the plant’s leaves aren’t shown:

I’ve tried to find more pictures of this plant but at this point I guess we’ll have to wait and see. In my opinion I do not believe it is a “pure” den. hancockii because I couldn’t find a picture of one that had variegated leaves, especially with very subtle pink in the stripe as you can see on the underside of this leaf on mine:

So I’m not sure if this plant is tagged correctly and it’s just a hybrid/mutation (because it’s obviously not pure), or if it’s tagged incorrectly with the order of the kanji just switched around. But usually when there’s a hint of red in the leaves, the flower has some red or pink coloring in it. So I’m going to hope that this orchid looks more like the second picture or is some kind of hybrid with red and yellow.
