How I feel about this character:  Micolash to me exemplifies the scholars in a really cool way. He goes WAY too far but he's having a GREAT time with it. He isn't really punished the same way the rest of them are and I find that interesting, sure he dies and forgets his research but he got to run around in his massive library mind palace before that. I see him as Laurence but mask off- unabashed fanaticism and medical horror.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:  Rom is probably my favourite, I see them as this oddball queer couple who actually fucking hate eachother. Same kinda thing with Laurence but thats way more one sided. Micolash and Edgar is also very very interesting but I need to mull it over more. I think it's very funny that all my Mic ships are born of hate.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:  Probably Damian and Archibald! They hang out and do weird experiments together (unethical).

My unpopular opinion about this character:  He PATHETIC! Man is NOT capible! He FAILS repeatedly!!!! He has 0 idea what is happening at any given moment. Tbh I don't even think he's good at things like manipulation he's just really persistent.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Hmm I wish we learned a little more about Mensis. Like its formation and exactly why them and the Choir hate each other so much. my OTP: Yeah probably Rom. I think its really bitter and resentful, Mic is very very jealous of her and Rom's very very angry that Micolash let her become a big spider. If they met again they would kill each other <3

a headcanon fact: Mic likes to write and illustrate children's novels in his free time! He's surprisingly good at it!!

"This would have a runtime of two minutes and thirty seconds if they would just talk to each other.”

Neil groans into the crook of your shoulder, tightening his grip on the flesh of your thighs which causes you to shift in his lap and him to whine in response. The movie you’re trying to watch continues to flicker across Neil’s tube TV, presenting both of you with scene after scene of (admittedly) shallow entertainment. But god, every once in a while, you just want to watch something fun and sappy instead of one of Neil’s favorite black-and-white masterpieces that were shot on “authentic, good ol’ fashioned film” and feature a beautiful actress that got traumatized by a director.

Sometimes you just want to watch a rom-com. And in a last-ditch attempt to turn movie night in your favor, you suggested a little reward if Neil managed to make it through. To sweeten the deal.

“What did we agree on regarding catty remarks?” you prompt, trying not to smile when you hear him sigh and grumble into your neck.

“Little to none,” he mutters, placing his chin back on your shoulder to try and brace through the last thirty minutes of the movie. His silence lasts for a minute. A valiant effort, considering you’ve been squeezing his cock inside of you since the two of you got settled on the couch and he handed you the remote.

“Can’t you at least, like… grind a little?” How cute. He’s trying to bargain with you. But he hasn’t earned it just yet. You shake your head, clicking your tongue in disapproval when he bucks his hips up into you without your permission.

“Don’t,” you hiss, reaching under yourself to grab onto the throbbing base of his cock and squeeze. The strangled noise that leaves Neil’s lips is almost enough to break your own resolve. Almost. Not looking at him makes it easier to stay resolute, but you can feel him trembling, hear him panting right against your body. TOMMY SHELBY MASTERLIST

As Y/N drives away from the pub, it starts to pour with rain. Near the end of the street, she pulls over unable to see clearly through the rain and her own tears. Unable to bring herself to leave, she thinks back to the last time she was truly happy.  

It was the last time she was with Tommy. He surprised her, turning up on her doorstep three nights before he was to marry Grace, who Tommy had successfully distracted her from thinking about over the two days he was with her. They had spent most of the time in bed wrapped up in one another. It felt like it had before the war had turned their lives and relationship upside down.   

“You stupid fool. You love him,” she cries talking about herself. Feeling angry at herself, she thinks about what could have been if she had just been a little selfish and didn’t put everyone else ahead of herself.   

Now was the time to put not only her wants and needs but also Tommy’s above the others. Stepping out of her vehicle, she starts making her way back to the Garrison. By the time she reaches the doorstep she’s soaked head to toe from the rain.   

As she goes to reach for the door handle the door swings open revealing Tommy who looks stunned to see her standing there.   

"I’m happiest when I’m with you," she begins to tell him, her tears mixing with the rain drops. “For so long I have been putting every other woman first, not listening to what I want or what you want, and I can’t do it anymore,” she pauses to take a breath. “I love you; I need you and, I wa-”   

She’s cut off by Tommy’s lips crashing to hers, kissing her with all the love he feels for her as he pulls her close to him. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she holds him as tight as she can as the kiss becomes sloppy. She’s afraid if she lets go and if she opens her eyes and ends the kiss, that he’ll disappear, her mind having played a cruel joke on her.  

Tommy eventually breaks the kiss and lets her go long enough to open the door back up and pull her back inside, locking it. Within a matter of seconds his lips are on hers again, deepening the already heated kiss.   

Sitting on his lap facing him, wrapped in his arms as both catch their breath and ease their racing hearts, with the musky smell of sex lingering around them, Y/N runs her fingers along his forehead, moving his hear out of his face so she can see those beautiful blue eyes she loves so much. “I need to go find me a room for the night and you need to go home and talk to Lizzy. I won’t be the other woman.”  

“You’ve never been the other woman,” he assures her. “They were just a means to try and get over you.”  

“You still need to go home,” she says going to move off his lap, only for him to pull her back down on it.   

“You feel like home to me,” he says as he moves his hand to the back of her neck and massages it a little. “You are my home. Let me have tonight with you and I’ll talk to Lizzy in the morning.”  

Against her better judgement, which was long gone by now, she nods and leans in, kissing him again.

Fic Type: Drabble - this one is from one of my drabble challenges I did over at @dlmlufics.

Warnings: Arguing. Michael being a shit. Mentions of cock but no smut at all.

TOMMY SHELBY MASTERLIST || MAIN MASTERLIST

Tommy steps closer to Y/N, leaving barely an inch between as their argument grows more intense. “The only person my cock has been inside of is you. Are you really going to believe some whore over me?” 

“It wasn’t some whore that told me, Tom,” she informs him, seeing Michael outside, listening intently to their shouts. “It was Michael.”  

He steps back looking at her astounded. “The same fucking Michael that’s been trying to make my life a living fucking hell? Do you really believe a word that comes out of his fucking mouth?” 

“He’s never had a reason to lie to me,” she says, turning her back to Tommy once again and storms out the door.  

As soon as she’s outside, Michael approaches her, “Are you all right, Y/N.”  

“I’m fine, Michael,” she tells him. “You best get to work.”  

Before Michael can say anything more, she’s walking down the steps and away from the office. 

When she gets to an alley, she ducks between the buildings, closes her eyes and takes a moment to breath. After a few minutes she hears footsteps approach and opens her eyes finding Tommy standing in front of her.  

Once again, her husband is standing so close that there’s barely an inch between them. He moves a hand to her face, his thumb stroking her cheek. A small smile makes its way on to her face, enjoying his soft touch.  

“Can’t we just tell Michael that he’ll never be able to get between us?”  

“You have to admit, it’s more fun this way,” Tommy smirks.  

“For you maybe,” she sighs. “I hate pretend fighting with you.”  

“I’ll talk to him,” Tommy promises before pulling her in for a kiss.
