Dear Family, On October 16, 2019, our beloved mesa sister, Pachakuti Mesa Tradition Elder, PMT sanctioned teacher and Maestra Curandera, D'oro (Dorothy) Cunha transitioned into the Spirit Realm. D'oro was a gentle mystic that always led with her heart. She was ever-conscious of "meeting people right where they are". We think of D'oro as "The Heart Whisperer", engaging people in the most beautiful way, creating an integrative container to foster healing and weaving the sparkling brilliance of the Great Web of Life. Celebrations with D'oro always brought about peals of laughter, great medicine songs sung from the heart and dancing like a dervish into the wee hours of the morning. Although her departure has been a shock, we find comfort in the belief that she was chosen for her pristine heart and strength of will to further anchor the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition in the Hanaqpacha.
